Hello. Nickih, I got my positive at 9dpo so it is possible that the test is accurate. They are more likely to give you a false negative instead of a false positive. Go get a blood test as soon as you can so you would know for sure. About the ferning microscope, maybe it is like the opk's where you get +'s when your pregnant. If that is the case then it is a good sign. Tammy, I'm excited about you testing tomorrow. I think 12 dpo is a good amount of time unless you are a late implanter, but you were feeling things early so I don't think that is the case. Make sure you let us know right away. I'll be checking the thread at work all morning. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and sending you baby dust. I hope everyone else is doing fine.

Thanks girls. I tested again this morning and got a negative. However the faint positive I got yesterday is clearly visible. I'm charting so I'll just have to be patient like everyone else and wait to see if my temps stay up! Is it possible to get a positive one day and then a negative the next? Over the last 2 years I've done what must be hundreds of tests and never got so much as an evaporation line, so I should be excited, but I guess I don't want to set myself up for disappointment by allowing myself to believe I'm pg yet.

Nicki, don't get discouraged....I've taken hundreds of tests too.....I'm a pee on a stick aholic!!LOL Get a digital or get a blood test done.........I have some good news...All your babydust worked for me! I got impatient and said what the heck, I'll test tonight, and it was a BFP!! The dollartree brand showed me a faint line, though clearly visable.....but I thought, it's a cheapy, so I went and bought a digital and within a minute, it showed me PREGNANT!! I still can't believe it, I really didn't think we would conceive this month, I guess I was wrong...But I am still worried since how my last positive ended in a m/c.. I am so happy, but I can't help but be concerned as well. I am going to get a blood test done tomorrow and have them tell me what my hcg levels are at to see if they are at a good level or not. Nicki, I really hope you get your BFP (again).....I would think if you got one, you will get another one..it is very rare that a test would show a false positive. Well, I'll check in tomorrow and let you girls know what the doctors office says! Wish me luck!!

Nickih - July 20

Hey congratulations! That's fantastic news. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that all goes well this time : )
My AF is due Sunday so will just wait until then and see what happens. I am always spot on, so will be excited if temps are still up by then. I'm just going to have to bide my time I think.
Hoping your baby dust comes my way!!

CC - July 21

Dea, really hoping for a bfp from you! Congratulations Tammy! Wishing you lots of luck Nickih. Hope everyone else is doing well.

dea - July 22

Good Morning all- well... I need to stop the insanity. I have a bunch of Dollar Tree Tests, so I tested again this AM. BFN. Now I think I will just wait until my blood test on thursday. (I'll probably break down before that but if I write it now, maybe I can wait it out!) TAMMY: Congrats on your BFP. How exciting. Let us know what the blood shows. CC: Hope your IVF meds are too horrible. I'll will most likely be in the same boat at the end of next week. NICKIH: It sounds like your body is playing tricks on you- every month is different for me, so I never know what the heck is going on. Keep us posted! I hope all the PG ladies out there are doing well! ~~DUST~~

the slightest sore bbs today---

Cendy - July 23

Hi all! Congrats Tammy276! I am so happy for you! Nickih, I have my fingers crossed for you. I am not sure why one day you would get a positive and then a negative unless you used different brands of tests and one had a lower HCG sensivity. I would keep testing each morning. Dea, I am sure you just tested too soon. I did it too. It is so hard to keep yourself from testing early. I also have my fingers crossed for you as well. CC, how are you holding up? I know you are starting IVF meds soon. I hope they do the trick this time. Lashunda, how are you and your bundle of joy doing? I hope well. Hows it going Ericka? Dlongen how about you? As for me, well I failed my first 1 hour glucose tolerance test and had to go back for the three hour test. It was awlful. I hate drinking that sweet drink. I hope I don't fail this test and end up having gestational diabetes. The baby is measuring ahead of schedule and I have been having these major leg cramps and they say that these could be signs of me having it. Well, I guess I will go for now. BABY DUST!

dlongen - July 24

Hi all - Congratulations Tammy! look forward to hearing what the docs say. NICKI - stay encouraged and test again in a bit. Strange to get a false pos - I tend to agree with the others. DEA - I'm still hoping. I know you so wanted to see thast BFP already - it can still happen! CC - hope the IVF is quick and works! Keep us posted. Do you know much about your doc and his/her success rates? CENDY - bummer about the glucose test. I'm not there yet, but sat in the lab next to a girl who was drinking that sugary drink - she made it clear it was not fun. At least that is short lived it if it gest. diab. It sounds like you are getting closer with the symptoms. Refresh me - how many weeks are you now? Are you close enough to deliver or would they have to try to stop contractions? ERICKA - hope you and baby boy are doing great. have you thought of any names yet? LOTS OF DUST to the TTC! Happy bubbles to the Preggers!

Tammy276 - July 24

Hi ladies. Well, all the lab could tell me was that it was for sure positive. They don't do the quantative one that tells you the levels, they just have the yes/no. so I will ask my doc. about it at my appt. on the 31st. I will definately keep in touch and see who else all gets a BFP on here! Good luck to all of you!!

dlongen - July 24

Yeah Tammy! I'm so happy for you! Welcome to the roller coaster! 1st trimester advice - ginger trips (ginger root and vitamin B6), tons of water (peppermint water helps w/ nausea), tons of sleep, and bland food. I hope you don't have a lot of morning sickness, but even without, that was a tough three months energy-wise for me. Here's also a great website for tracking the progress: http://www.verybestbaby.com/default.asp?

Hi Girls-- Well, this AM: BFN, of course. Then during the day my bbs began to get really sore and then DH said they felt "firmer". So- on the way home we bought a First Response 3 pack. I tested one and BFN again! Oh well- I'll test again tomorrow AM- yes, I am ready for the institution at this point. Thursday's blood test can't come fast enough....CONGRATS TAMMY. CC: What day do you start injections? NICKIH: Any news?? Any more tests?? ~~DUST~~

Tammy276 - July 25

Actually my first pregnancy, I felt pretty good so I am hoping this one is similar!! I mean I felt sick once in a while, but nothing horrible.....I know, the tiredness is kicking in already, and my hubbys like whatever, its just an excuse for you to sleep in longer...Uh, no, part of my energy is being used to support a pregnancy, its not all in my heady ya dummy!!

CC - July 25

Cendy, any news on your 3 hour test? Hope all goes well..Ericka, thinking of you, and hope you are still doing good. Dea, sorry you are getting bfn's. There is nothing worse, this I know. I will still hold out that you get a bfp w/ your beta test. I start injections tomorrow...Im ready! GL to you, will be checking in on Thursday for your results.

dea - July 26

Whelp- my temp dipped a couple of tenths today- but still above the coverline. BFN again- no surprise there. I pretty much have told hubby that this month isn't the one. At least he won't be as disappointed on thursday. CC: all the best as you start this round of meds... I'm sending dust and prayers your way.
