Angie--I'm so so sorry. I know how painful a BFN is, to have your hopes up with the first beta, that's much worse. Anyway you're in my thoughts. As the others said, if you need to talk/vent, please do. Get it out! We're always here for you. Isa, at this point I'd say at CD 8 you should be fine to attend Thanksgiving, you will be starting to bloat a little, be a tad uncomfortable but not so bad that 1.5 hour drive would affect things. That said, it all depends on how many eggs you're brewing at that time. If you have a lot, and your e2 levels are climbing up quite a bit, maybe you could call in sick but honestly, I think you'll be okay. At CD 8 I don't remember being really uncomfy & remember I did have a lot of eggs too. Really the bloatiness reaches is max point about 5 days past the ER, according to my clinic and I thought they were correct in that assumption. Glad your reaction site bump is better now. Wow, you do keep detailed records of your shot sites. Lifequest--The holistic dr sounds interesting, and honest if he does accup. himself but still thinks those herbs should help you instead. Hey Mega thanks. Looks like af has started but extremely light so most likely cd1 is tomorrow so i went a head and booked my cd3 u/s, b/w full bladder junk for monday so by thanksgiving sun i will only be 6 days stimmed and with what you say i should be good to go, we'll just make it a short night and we wont have to say anything to them about all this. Just got back from accupuncture #2 treatment and he has seen improvement in my temperature and circulation (I also noticed my temp is warmer than it was before so yeah for herbs and treatment #1) and he said you're tired arent you i said exhausted. He said your not sleeping well i said no im not. So he gave me bedtime sleepy herbs to help and that will also help balance out my other stuff so we'll have to see. I got more needles today and loved listening to the music and i love his warming tummy lamp. I'll go again in a week and he said to also bring my u/s #'s and b/w info when i go and he will work with it as well to optimize me (wow I've never been optimized before hee hee). Lifequest re the bcp I havent been on any fertility meds since april (or poss even March) so there will be none in me to bring me into balance and I dont have any pcos or endo or any ovulation problems either. It was never discussed for me to do them (yeah b/c I would have refused them since Ive had so many troubles in the past with them). cmelissa how are stims going? any problems? I cant believe your transfer is in 4 days. How are your follies doing now size wise? Angie keeping you still in my thoughts. Robyn what day are you on now ? How's the house? Galina what's up?

Isa, a light bleed may be all you get on the Lupron. My lupron bleed was nothing more than a couple of days of light spotting. I told my dr that at my baseline u/s appt. & he said it did what it supposed to though (thin my lining). So it's quite possible your "AF" won't be much. Then others end up with heavy Lupron bleeds so you never know I guess. Glad the herbs are working well for you. And that's so nice that you won't have to miss Thanksgiving with the fam after all. CD 6 of stims, you should be fine. Well I got my tx date today. Oct. 26th, it's a Friday. Yay! Won't have to take a day off of work this time. I will have to wear so many patches though throughout the cycle. My cube neighbor at work is menopausal and she wears the estrogen patch. Maybe we can swap patch stories! LOL! We're defrosting 3 embies and tx the best 2. So that means we'll have 4 remaining embies still in the freezer if this batch takes. So I'm happy about that. Cmelissa--Enjoy the wedding this weekend. You're in it, right? How'd today's u/s go? I can't wait to hear the follie count & measurements for this visit. Grow follies grow!!!

Hi Ladies, Isa, I think my Holistic Dr. put something in my herbs to sleep too. Wow, you won't believe how tired I am by my second cup before bed. I have had such a nice sleep....Glad your accupucture is working. Mega, so your TX date is Oct 26th, thats great. Mine is approx. Oct 31...so we're days away. I know it will happen for you this time! I can't believe how many embroyos you have frozen, thats awsome. How many did you have to start with? My shot 101 class is on Wed. Did you have one already? CMELISSA, how are your follies?

Mega Oct 26 eh, I am estimating my tx to be Oct 13 give or take a day or 2 and then add 12 days after ET for a beta so the end of the month will be big for a bunch of us. What do the patches do? We'll just call you patches now haha. It will be nice to know someone else hormonal is with you. Won't you two make a great pair. Hopefully you wont both be moody on the same day!! Mega thanks for the info. af is light so far still today. Noone said much to me about what af might be like aon Lupron nd mine is typically light anyways but accupuncturist said today I will probably be a lot heavier 12 hours from treatment so it will be interesting. I am typically 25-26 days and today was 29th day so it might be heavier. When I booked my u/s for monday I wanted to book my next one figuring it would be about cd 6 or 7 and she said wait til Mondays and they will see what we are working with size wise and lining wise and gear it that way. Nice to know its an individual approach and all ivf'ers get preferencial bookings (they make room for us if we havnet prebooked b/c it is such an individualized monitoring and sometimes don't know ahead of time what days they want us there. I was told earlier though that by about day 9 or 10 I will be monitored daily but that was the same as iui also, once folies are a certain size you go in every day.) Lifequest my bedtime ones are pills and i take one or 2 with water. I think I will try 1 and see how it goes for the first few nights and if no different I will take 2 and see how it goes. I also will get my gonal F lesson on Monday. It is a pen and supposedly quite simple to use. Mega are there defrosting concerns at all? Do they freeze them indiv. or in groups?

Hi guys--Mega, Isa, thanks for asking about me. I am doing fine. Busy with work. Brittany is having a hard time in her new school this year. Academically it is a bit easy for her, however, the girls in her class are such b-tches!!! I am amazed I am actually even using this word to describe 5th grade girls, but I am just shocked at how cruel and mean they are. She is the "new" girl in class and they don't want to play with her or talk to her. She is miserable and cries to me every day when I pick her up from school. Both she and I are just heartbroken at the situation. I spoke to her teacher and she did absolutely nothing about it. So, dh and I went to talk to the principal and on Mon., Brit is going to take a test to see if she can go into the 6th grade. If she doesn't pass the test, then we just decided to finish off this semester at this school and then she'll go back to her old school. Sorry I wrote so much but I feel so frustrated about this I just had to vent. Thank you. Now, I am very excited for all of you October ladies!!! I hope all of you will get the news you ALL DESERVE! Galina, good to hear from you. I have friends who are dealing with grade 5 girls to great 7 girls and hear what they are like and whoa. I'm glad I didnt ever have to deal with that growing up -i too would be crying every day. It's a shame the teacher doesnt want to get involved. I think 1/2 the time these girls can be b*tchy and bullies b/c teachers dont care. Don't get me wrong there are some wonderful teachers out there but a few bad eggs that spoil it for the others and let these punks bother others. Why is it she is in the new school did you move? I'm glad switching is a possibility. I have one friend driving her gr. 5 daughter 30 minutes each way to school so as to avoid that same kind of thing (principal also did nothing). School was a 5 min walk from their house so its very inconvenient but the stress of what they put that girl through would have killed her eventually with a nervous breakdown. I hope things get better for you.

Angie so sorry for your disappointment.
Im new to this and have recently had 2 embryos transferred i now have the 14 day wait that is causing me so much agony before i have the pregnancy test which is due on the 6th october. Does anyone know about implantation bleeding i haven`t had my period but had a slight brown spotting for a few hours unsure of what i`m suppose to expect, anyone had this before.

Hi ladies. Another Monday is upon us. Actually I was off by a day, my tx is actually the 27th, a Friday, which is perfect. Isa, you should probably be getting your beta right around my tx date, you're right a big time for a lot of us. Lifequest, yay, that's wonderful that we'll be able to keep each other company during the 2 WW, I did it alone my 1st IVF, I'd much rather have someone on a similar timeline. I had 24 eggs retrived my fresh cycle, 19 of those were mature, with 15 fertilized. They froze 7 automatically, & left 8 out. Of those 8, they tx 2 and the rest died out before they could freeze them. So we'll see. Thanks for your confidence, hopefully you & I will be celebrating BFPs together in November! With Isa just a few weeks ahead of us. That's exciting, Lifequest, that your shot 101 class is this Wed, that really made things real for me. I don't have to have another one this cycle since I'm just doing Lupron & PIO shot wise, and DH is quite the pro on those now. Isa--what's new? You have a u/s today, right? Good luck! Is this the one to make sure it's all good for you to start stimming? Can't wait to hear how it goes. Calling me patches, LOL! I'm amazed at how many of those I'll be slapping on. Some days just 1, then 2 days later I'll put on 2, then 1, then 3, then 4, etc. etc. etc. I think it's to prime my lining, that's my best guess. That is funny though me & my coworker swapping estrogen patch stories. :) Galina, I'm so sorry that Brittany has to endure those b**tchy girls at school, kids can truly be cruel to eachother & it starts young. Girl on girl crime, as they described it in the movie Mean Girls. I thought that was a good phrase. That's awful that the teachers' don't want to intervene. I know watching your child suffer like that has got to be so wrenching for a parent. I hope they let up soon, otherwise I think your plan B (skipping a grade or going back to her old one) is best. Mega you're right your tx will be about my beta. I think we figured out the days of my tx will be between oct 12-15 depending on my u/s and b/w. (I think nurse said usually count 10-14 days from stim start and you'll be in there somewhere -most typically 10-12 days after stim start). I start tonight. Today went FANTASTIC. My fsh is at 3.2 yes 3.2. The only thing I know I've done differently is the accupuncture and herbs woohoo. Everything was good and they could see already 3 little follies on the left and 2 little ones on the right, lining at 3.3. I go in again Thursday for more b/w and another u/s. Had migraine yesterday, last night and today. I've had to take Rx migraine meds to be able to get to the appt today. Ugh -oh well ya do what ya gotta do. I wasnt about to miss my appt today. Got my gonal f pens, looks easy to use. Every other night at least at the start I"ll have to do 2 shots as they hold 450 and I start at 300. Thats ok its small like the lupron needle. Sel welcome. I've never had implantation so I can't help with the spotting part but I have read many bfp's with it happening and one gal at the clinic last week came in with a great beta and she said she thought it was over cuz she was spotting. Don't stop your meds b/c you think it's af. Keep taking them until your beta. How old are you and how were you're embies? is this your first?

Hey Ladies - I had another follie check this morning and they measured 17 follies - they said they'd probably retrieve around 6-12 the norm with the dosage i'm on - im taking 2 vials of repro and 2 of gonal F. Looks like my follies are slow growers so my ER is now on Thursday which sucks b/c i will have to call in sick now and definitely will have to work on Friday. Also i just got moved to another community to sell in so next week my ET is probably going to be on Monday or Tuesday so i will have to take off for that too since my days off are changing next week to Thurs/Fridays. I'm really nervous for the ER this week - i just hope they get my eggs out safely and most importantly that they fertilize!! I'm really not as bloated as i thought i would get so thats good, hopefully i wont get overstimulated than either. If i dont get pregnant this cycle they said they's up my dosage, but hopefully i wont need to worry about that! Also big bummer my company trip got cancelled so no Florida trip for me this month - so bummed! However they are giving us a credit so we can plan a trip another time all paid for!! Jamie74 welcome - this is my 1st cycle trying to get pregnant on IVF i have unexplained!! Robyn you are on your way now!! So exciting!! How's the new house!!! Isa i havent had any reaction to the lupron yet, however i do get a red mark from the repronex and gonal f but it usually fades! Isa glad to hear your FIL is cancer free now thats fabulous! Also i would go to the dinner, I had to be in a wedding this weekend and have been on the meds for over a week talk about bloated, haha! I also had to take my shots right before walking down the isle in the bathroom secretly -crazy stuff! I manged though and pulled it off, ha! cmelissa glad you got through the wedding ok (even if you had to shoot yourself up so to speak !!). I'm sorry the dates have changed but remember everything happens for a reason and this is just to make sure all is exactly as it should be for your retreival and transfer to go swimmingly (haha). I too worry about the fertilization part. What if I do perfect embies (ok I know they arent really perfect but really good ones) and the fertilization with the icsi sucks or they have 2 heads or who knows. I'm just a worry wart when I cant have control over it -not that I can control my eggs mind you -hey wouldnt that be cool . How much gonal are you on? I have the 450 pens and I'm starting with 300 dosage/night for now but I'm not on the Repronex. I dropped the Lupron to 0.05 today (down from 0.1)

Sel--Welcome. I missed your post the first time, I think we posted about the same time this AM. How many days post tx are you? What tx did you have--day 3 or blast? The 2 WW is especially henious during an IVF cycle. I'm on a FET cycle now coming off my first IVF fresh cycle that unfortunately ended in a BFN. I'd say there's a good chance your spotting is IB, sounds promising. Keep us posted and please spend the rest of your 2 WW with us! Good luck. This thread needs more BFPs!!! Hang in there. Isa--Yay, sounds like your baseline u/s went PERFECT. Goody. And a FSH of 3.2, wow! Wonderful news. Sorry about the migraine, glad the meds helped enough so you could make it to your appt., I'm sure Lupron had no small part in the migraine. Cmelissa--Your count sounds great. Let us know when you get your E2 # back tonight. Shooting up at the wedding, too funny. But that's life during an IVF cycle. My DH was in a wedding a couple of weeks ago during my 2 WW when I was doing the PIO shots which he has to do for me. So after the wedding he snuck me into the back room where the wedding party was gathered and we went into the private bathroom so he could jab my butt. I'm sure the bridesmaids were wondering what was going on in there! :) Thanks for your faith in this cycle, I hope the FET works better for me. Isa--that's right.
