Good Morning ladies! ANN: Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. I hope today goes really well and you see your little bean's heartbeat. Please give us the full details when you can. ELYSE: I hope that your first follie check goes great and you have lots and lots!! I will check in over the weekend to see. I hope you are doing okay with the meds. CHRISTINA: Dh and I are doing natural this time around. Need to save some money for another iui. My insurance doesn't cover anything so its tough. Maybe we will get lucky again. I conceived my daughter natural after a round of injectibles 5 years ago so I know it can happen. ELIZABETH: How long is the wait for you FET? I hope you guys have great weekend. My dh is out of town fishing so it will just be the girlie girls (as my dd calls it) at home this weekend. Talk to ya soon!

Well, I have good news and bad news. The baby is measuring what it is supposed to right now, and I saw the heart beating (159bpm and they want over 120). The bad news is that I have a blood clot, and the RE gives me a 20% chance of miscarrying. I have to go back to get another u/s in 2 weeks, and hopefully the clot will have shrunk.

Carole - July 14

WHAT!!!????? Where did the clot come from???? Do they have any idea?? Oh no, I know you are so worried right now. I am thinking of you Ann and please if you have any other details, that would be great. What about your fibroids???

I've read on the net that sometimes the blood is the result of implantation bleeding still hanging around (that would be a good thing). If it is bleeding now and it gets bigger, it could be a problem. The hope is that I will go in (made and appt for 7/25) and it will be smaller or gone. I am pretty scared and depressed. I think it is a good sign, though, that I am not actually spotting or bleeding. All I can do is take it easy and wait. How are you and how is everyone else?

cristina - July 14

Ann, so sorry to hear about the clot you have. I hope it will go away on its own and it affect the baby. But I do want to congratulate you on listening to the heartbeat. That's one major important thing that you got to hear. It could be alot worse. This girl I know that works with me got pregnant and when she went for her first sono they didn't even hear a heart because there was no baby there, just the sac. But atleast you do have a little pea in there and I will pray that everything will go ok for you. When is your next sono?

Ann1 - July 14

On 7/25 that will be my full-blown first visit to the ob/gyn and they will do another sono there to check it. I agree that it could be much worse. I am really happy that the baby is the right size (I measured 7 weeks and 4 days but w/opks I am 7 weeks and 2 or 3 days) and that the heartbeat is strong. It will be a very long wait until 7/25.

ANN, my prayers are with you - I am sorry you have to deal with more horrible stuff. The waiting is going o be hard, hang in - hopefully it will shrink and all will be well. Cristina, I am sorry you didn't have a good exp with the sonogram. Carole - good luck with this cycle - what cd are you on?
I went for the follie check today and there were only 5 - 4@10 and 1 @ 9 - very depressing - I am so disappointed.

Elyse - July 17

oh yeah - the cervical trial (mock transfer) will be the day after trigger.

Oh, Ann, I'm so sorry to hear about the blood clot. I know it's difficult, but try not to worry too much. If I remember correctly, you had a little af bleeding although you were pregnant, right? So that was probably just heavy implantation, so the blood clot could very well be some of that implantation bleeding. I think your baby will be just fine! Elyse, don't worry about the 5 follies. It's still early. When I went for one of my last follie checks before the retrieval, there were only 6 and I ended up with 13 on retrieval day, so chin up! Cristina, it's too bad that you couldn't see the gender of your baby, sounds like you have a lively one there! Carole, how are you doing? On what cycle day are you on? Dh and I have decided to try the FET next month. So hopefully by this time next month, I'll also have a little bun in the oven.

Ann1 - July 17

Hi Elizabeth. Thanks for the concern. I am doing pretty well with not worrying. I think it is a good sign that I have had no spotting or bleeding whatsoever since I found out I was pg. I did have some bleeding on the day af was due, but the dr says that is unrelated and too early to be anything bad. That is what the hope is--that the blood is leftover from implantation. I wish 7/25 would hurry and get here!! Elyse, I will hope for more follies for you! What is the minimun number they want to not cancel?

Elyse - July 18

ELIZABETH, ANN, thanks for the support. Maybe I will have more follies by the day of retrieval. I have another appt for bw and follies tomorrow, so we'll see. Elizabeth, I understand that frozen embies are very hearty, so good luck! Ann, how are you feeling?

Elyse - July 18

And... they say that 5 is fine and they will continue the cycle, so...I don't think I could take it if they cancel.

Ann1 - July 18

Elyse, did you have your appt yet?? How did it go??? Did you do supression before this cycle? I am feeling fine--really good actually. The only problem I have is that I can wear my normal clothes but my stomach is very telling. I am trying to wait to tell people at work until after my appt next week (assuming everything looks ok). I want to wait until 12 weeks, but I also want to wear my normal clothes as long as possible. I bought one of those waist bands so I can wear my normal pants but wear them unbuttoned. I really thought being tall (5'11") would have helped conceal this more, but it hasn't at all!!

Elyse - July 18

Ann, I remember wanting to wait to tell, but I had a very hard time. I'm sure it's tougher for you b/c of the bloodclot, though. I had the bw and follie check today and there were still only 2 on the left - only 1 of them grew, but there were now 6 on the right - and a few smaller ones. I am going in for another follie check tomorrow - he said the retrieval will probably be this weekend. My daughter's bday party is on Sat - 40 ppl, so that will be a challenge if it is going to be sat. my E2 was 978, so that is good, too.

Elyse - July 18

I hit submit b/f I was ready. Ann, I am so glad you are feeling well - that you didn't have any morning sickness. I did do supession - it ended up being for 2 months b/c dp was in the hospital, etc. so I really stared from scratch. During an IUI cycle, I would have triggered already - tonite at the latest.

Ann1 - July 18

Not telling in general is super easy for me. I am a really private person. I just want to tell, because I am uncomfortable. But, I hear my RE saying, "Well don't announce to the world that you are pg for at least a couple of weeks" (because of the clot). I thought he could have worded it better. He also said to call if I was spotting but to "call immediately if I wake up in a pool of blood or something." I prefer straight-forwardness, but I thought he could use a little bedside manner when he just scared me about a m/c. I am so glad you have more follies!! YEA!!! Are there any they are measuring yet?
