My husband and I have been trying for almost two years. The first ob I went to, told me to relax and it would happen in time. Needless to say, I switched doctors. I was put on Clomid 50mg for 6 months and ovulated every month, but no pregnancy. We were then referred to our current RE. He ran all the tests on us and everything was normal. He had me go in next for a hysterosalpingogram. They believe that one of my tubes might be blocked and I had an adhesion on uterus from previous D&C 10 years ago. After surgery to remove the adhesion, we were able to get into a "unexplained infertility" study. We were chosen for the study group that involved injectable Menopur. So this is our first IUI with injectables and I am on day 8 after IUI just waiting.
I didnt realize how much infertility truly takes a toll on your body and mind.
