Worried about Not having children

Hi, I tried the male infertility forum and have been waiting a few days for an answer, but it doesn't look like it's used that much so I decided to try to get some answers in this forum. Okay, here's the situation...My boyfriend and I love each other very much and want to get married after we graduate college. But he told me that he might not be able to give me children one day. The reason why is that neither of his testicles came out when he was born. He did not know anything was wrong with him until he was about 12 yrs old. At that age he had surgery and they got one testicle to come down but they could not get down the other one because the cord was too short. I am worried that we cannot have children one day and I want a child when we get married so bad. Does anyone know if it is still possible that he could get me pregnant when we get married? Is there any hope?

I really don't have any solid answers for you. I would suggest the both of you going to see a fertility doctor, or just going to your gynocologist and talk to the doctor to see what they recommend. I'm guessing they would definitely have him go for a semen analysis. The analysis would be able to tell you alot, as far as his sperm count, motility, and morphology. It only takes one sperm to get pregnant. So don't give up hope. And I really wouldn't listen to anyone elses advice because the only one that would know is a doctor and some tests. Good luck!

If his sperm is nonexistent, you could use donor sperm and have IUI done. If it is just poor quality, IUI with his sperm could be your answer. Don't give up yet. There are ways!
