I'm not really sure that any kind does...which is really wrong! I'm thinking that IVF is my only was as well (I have PCOS). My husband and I are starting to look into taking out a loan/financing options. It's SO much money, but there isn't anything better you could ever spend money on!

I hate to tell you not many insurance companies cover IVF depending on the state you live you may get some of it covered i know we had to pay out of pocket for everything we did IVF in June and are currently 12 weeks pregnant. It was very very expensive. Good luck to you.

I have a PPO in IL and up to 4 IVF cycles are covered. Luckily we did not need to do IVF to get pregnant, but I was glad to know it was always an option for us. But, as the other ladies said it seems it is not usually covered.

I live in MA which is a mandated state for IVF- but that only depends on what type of Ins. you have. I am under my husbands bcbs the ppo plan, and it didn't cover any of the actual treatments just the bloodwork, and u/s monitoring. also...some of my meds. we too, have payed out of pocket for almost 3 yrs. I have done 4 iuis and 3 IVF cycles. I did get pregnat on my 3rd IVF cycle, but sadly miscarried. it has been a long few months ever since. I will do my final cyle of IVF this October. We had to take out a loan for it, becaue we have gone through just about all of our savings. We just submitted all of our paperwork, and don't anticipating a problem, since we have good credit. The financial stress has been tough. We are broke now...but we re thankful we had the money to shoot for one of our dreams. Hopefully this last cycle will be our golden one! All the best to you!
