I am on cd 6 and I just finished my last pill yesterday. I started on cd 1. I had read that there is some preliminary research that indicates that an earlier start date may result in more pregnancies, but most gynecologists continue to prescribe it for days 5-9. One recent study actually tried prescribing Clomid on cycle days 1-5. While none of the participants in their day 5-9 group resulted in pregnancy, 24 percent of the women who took Clomid on days 1-5 were able to conceive. So I thought what the heck. I am not being monitored unfortunately. I was told just to give it a shot and see if it worked. I hope you all have good nights!

i dont think i've O'd yet. i'm only on cd 13 though so i'm hoping in a couple days i will. so far all my opks have been neg. i want to post a thread to ask people how long it took them to O after taking clomid. i'm so curious!!!

hi lynn even i didnt get +opk on 13, i did it on 14 night and got +.... so do BDon 13,14,15,16 as told by my doctor..all the best

opks neg still on cd 14 but cm getting stretchier and cervix feels more open. i hope i O tomorrow or the next day. my dr didnt tell me what days to bd on or what days i should O on so i'm kinda in the dark there. what were you guys told???

I got my positive opk today!!!! cd 13 and bd last night and hoping for tonight and tomorrow night!!!

yeah lynn! bd your butt off! :) we've been bding everyother day just incase. we will until i get my increase bbt showing then we know we can slow down a bit. poor dh is getting worn out!

Hi everyone! Well yesterday was a temp dip for me and it went up .2 degrees this morning. I did bd last night so I bet I ovulated yesterday cause I had mild cramping also! Anyway, I guess its wait and see time now! (still bd just in case) :)

hi lynn, yeah we o'd!!! i'm so excited! did you have any ewcm??? i didnt but it was a little watery. i'm thinking clomid has a lot to do with drying you out. i never get ewcm anyways so i guess i'm not too shocked i didnt get it this time with clomid. i had mild cramping yesterday and still a little bit today too. i had a sharp pain on my right side yesterday but that's gone today... dont know if that was O pains or not. that's hard to judge since there are so many moving parts down there that it could really be anything giving you a pain i think. maybe i'm wrong but thats what i tell myself so i dont get my hopes up.

Hi Krista! I usually dont have alot of ewcm but being that I was taking clomid I started doing robitussin 3 times a day and using preseed when bd...gotta give em something to swim in!!!! Today I had a little cramping but nothing bad. So we went ahead and bd tonight just in case :) keep us posted ...maybe we will both get BFPs right before thanksiving!!!!

Hey girls! Well no +Opk test but I did have a line. Just not as dark. Do y'all always get a line when you take them, just not as dark as the reference. This is my 5th day since taking my last pill. I read you ovulate anywhere from day 5-9 after your last pill. What day did y'all ovulate on? I sure hope I ovulate before or on day 9 because my hubby has to go out of town Wed. afternoon. well my temp went down a little bit this morning but its still not as low as my previous ones so i think i might be ok and still have O'd. i sure hope anyways!!! i was so scared i almost started to cry. my hubby kept reassuring me that he was sure i o'd by the cm i had the couple times we bd'd. i hope he's right. how is everyone doing???

staci, i usually get a line when i take opks but not always. it depends on what time of day i take the tests. if i take them later at night then i dont normally get a line. i have yet to even take an opk at the right time of day which is late morning early afternoon. staci keep a close watch on your cm. i had to actually go up there and scoop some out to see if it was stretchy or not some days because i was more dry. i did get water cm though a couple days last week and that was when i had my temp shift.
