Lynn, your temps sound like they are ok. sometimes they will jump up and down for whatever reason. if it does it more often then i think it might mean something but who really knows for sure. some women dont even have a steady enough pattern to detect ovulation or any pattern at all. do you use fertilityfriend to chart??? i love that website. i just started checking my cervix today too. thats pretty interesting stuff. i never knew that lump i felt up there was my cervix and neither did dh! its amazing how much you learn about your body ttc.

Hey girls! I am on my third day of Clomid. How many days after you have stopped taking the pills should I start using OPK's? I am doing clomid 50 mg on cd 1-5. I was thinking I would just start testing cd 6, which is the day after I stop taking it to be on the safe side. My dr. just said here, knock yourself out, in so many words.

Nope, just using hormonal forecaster to chart with. I am going to start testing with opk starting cd9 which is tomorrow...just in case I ovulate early(i know wishfull thinking) :) anyway, guess i will talk to yall later! Good luck everyone!!!!

I ordered some OPK's online, but I am a little worried they may not get here in time. I may end up buying me one from Wal-Mart just in case. I finish Clomid on Monday, so I was thinking I would start testing on Wed. just to be on the safe side. Best wishes and baby dust to you all! Oh, Clomid is known for drying up your cervical mucus, so I was advised to use a lubricant called Preseed.

I bought my preseed from earlypregnancytests.com. I also did a test on opks...of my own...the earlypregnancytest.com test against the cvs/walgreens brand, and the clear blue ovulation test. The earlypregnancytests ones did the worst. the others did very well at predicting it. So this time I am spending the extra bucks on clearblue. The earlypregnancy tests.com test never came out positive. I have used the pregnancy tests from earlypregnancytests.com and they worked great last time..like 5-6 dpo I got a very very faint positive!!! And that was my daughter that is now 17 months old. I also am taking robitussin for cm. 600 mg a day. I feel like I have a ton to remember to do....just to get pregnant! :) Lots of baby dust+++++++++++++++

i read today on fertility friend that women using clomid normaly O 5-9 days after the last day of taking clomid. so today is day #4 for me so i took an opk today. it was from earlypregnancytests.com and it was neg, in fact i havent had a positive one from those but then i only O'd once in the last 4 months so i didnt do it at the right time. i'll keep using them everyday and i'm even taking pictures of them to compare darkness incase for some reason clomid affects it so that it wont get dark enough. i probably dont need to do that but i want to. i bought good opks before but they were all neg for me too so i'm not going to buy those anymore until i know clomid works and if i dont get pg this month. i think i'm one of the rare ones so far where clomid actually increases my cm. so far i've had quit a bit even right after af stopped. normally i'm dry for a couple days but not this time. so hopefully that will be a good thing and i'll actually get ewcm which i never get. friday should be the big O day! i hope its right and it acutally happens! baby dust!

how is everyone feeling from the clomid??? i hope side effects arent too hard on anyone.

No side effects here and I am on my 5th day. Let's just hope it works. Hubby commented today that there isn't a day that passes that I don't mention babies. It kind of hurt, but I understand. I just really want it to happen. If it weren't so hard for me, I wouldn't even me mentioning it ya know. I feel like saying to him, I am taking medicine you know. I think that justifices why I talk it about it more. Oh well! Men will never understand!!!

staci i totally understand about taking about babies all the time because i do too. my hubby tries not to get annoyed but i know he does. today i was imagining what it would be like to have my own little baby to dress up for halloween! i cant wait!!! dont get upset by what your dh said because i believe some guys just really dont understand why we talk about it so much. it makes us feel better and we're just longing for a baby! i sure hope this is the month for us! we should know around thanksgiving time, actually a little before that i think. man i hope its good news!

hi krista, today i had my sonogram i have only 2 ,3 follicles not good and also i got cyst . but my doc told me it is because of clomid, she increased my dose of 100 mg, lets see whats in my store. hOw about u any news???

Well the hot flashes hit yesterday!!! But they are gone now...today is cd11 for me! I am doing opk and today is negative...Stacy..what days are you taking clomid?

i'm sorry about your sonogram stacy. i dont fully understand what the follicles and how many there need to be to ovulate and all that. i should read up more on that. but i'll be saying a prayer for you and everyone else here too. what cd are you on right now? i'm on 12.

Hey ladies, im so glad i found this one i usually just read alot and respond to a few questions but i would really like to keep up with this forum! Im trying to concieve baby#2 for about 3 yrs now and this is my last day in clomid 100mg. I was afraid at first to try any fertility drug but after trying for 3 yrs anything will do! My first was natural i went off the birth control and got pregnant the same month or the month after but of course back then i was not heavy now im a little overweight and my menstrual is whacked but hopefully clomid works for us ALL. Baby dust everyone this will be our lucky month.

what drugstores carry preseed and how much (what country are you in?)I only can find it on line.

I am on cd 6 and I just finished my last pill yesterday. I started on cd 1. I had read that there is some preliminary research that indicates that an earlier start date may result in more pregnancies, but most gynecologists continue to prescribe it for days 5-9. One recent study actually tried prescribing Clomid on cycle days 1-5. While none of the participants in their day 5-9 group resulted in pregnancy, 24 percent of the women who took Clomid on days 1-5 were able to conceive. So I thought what the heck. I am not being monitored unfortunately. I was told just to give it a shot and see if it worked. I hope you all have good nights!
