Hey Johanna, I will be starting Clomid next month, I am nervous as well. I have been trying for 6 months. I had a HSG in May 05. I have irregular periods, so every month I do not receive my AF therefore it brings my hopes of being pregnant. Every month I have to endure a blood pregancy test before I can take provera. It is a vicious cycle but I have only been trying for 6 monts. My husband is fine, I am fine as well. My friend was on Clomid for two cycles and when she went to see her DR. for the third cycle, SHE WAS PREGNANT. she is now 30 weeks. This gives me hope knowing clomid worked for her. I wish you the best of luck and baby dust to you all.

Hi Everyone. Nikki, you asked earlier about the side effects of Clomid. I was on Clomid for 3 cyles. I got really bad headaches and was extremely moody. I also had some hot flashes but they weren't too bad. I then did 2 cycles of injections with IUI - no luck! I had an HSG a few weeks ago and my AF was a week late. My Dr. is trying me on another medication "FEMARA" (also known as Letrozole). Has anyone heard of this drug or had any success with it???? We have been trying to have another baby since our first was 8 months old - she is now 3. I had a miscarriage in Dec./03 and had a stillbirth at 26 weeks in Aug./04. It's very frustrating as you all know, trying month after month! Anyway, if anyone has any info. on the Femara I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Just got back from the dr. I had my hsg on 8/8/05. My dr said that my results are "beautiful" My tubes are clear. All I have to do is wait on results from my progesterone test and then we will begin Clomid!!!!

HSG on 8/10 was pretty painful but pretty close to your worst period cramp for about 10 minutes. I did bleed a little but but glad I read on hear that it is normal. The part that hurt the worst was clamp on cervix. So glad I took IBprofin. Had IUI on 8/17/05 low sperm count of 3.3 mil. Now in the 2WW.

Hi everyone, I had an HSG test done on June 17th following an eptopic pregnancy. I had major surgery (c-section cut) but they saved both tubes. Dr. told me my tubes look great. Dye flowed right through no problems and that I was "fertile Mertyle" - well here I sit 2 months after HSG and nothing. Tried the OPK in July had had a perfect color match on the stick - NOTHING happened. I'm getting so discouraged. We have been married almost 1 year (October) but been together for 12 -dying for a baby - our age is working against us too I'm 36 and he's 38. The doctor said I shouldn't worried because we know I CAN get pregnant. That's not very comforting right now -

Today I take my last Clomid Pill. It gave me bad headaches and I was sleepy most of the time. I was excited because I had made it thru my first cycle of Clomid and I was suppose to go to the Dr. of Friday to get a shot of HCG injection. But now im not sure. I just found out last night that my DH is going back to work. He works out of state. I hope not soon but I'll find out tomorrow. I'm still not giving up. I talked to my Doc about timing because my DH works out of town alot. And my doc is willing to work with me. I just have to think positive. God did not bring me this far to to just leave me. I have faith that soon I will be on the other side of this great mission. and I will look back and see that all has passed an we have recieved the blessings that we all so dearly want. I pray that all of you ladies recieve all the blessings that you are entitled to. And thank you for being so supportive to me and all others in the same boat.

Hello everyone. I have been on clomid for 3 cycles now (just finished my last pill on round 3 today). Yesterday I had a HSG test done. My tubes were clear, he didn't even use all of the dye, it went right through. My husband has been tested also and is fine. Can anyone shed some light on this situation, why am I not pregnant? The clomid has also been working for me every cycle..Thanks and good luck!!

I am having my HSG in about two hours. I am so hoping that it works for me. My doc gave me two valiums to take 1 hour before. That should mean no pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder though, since I had to have an HSG to get pregnant before will I always have to have one to have more children??

Nikki - August 23

Had my HSG on 7/29. Got my period 3 days earlier than usual. Was really disappointed. I finished my first round of clomid a few days ago. I usually have bad headaches (unsure why) so I couldn't tell if it was the clomid or just what I normally get. Did have hot flashes...actually still experiencing them (they're really bad). Day 20 (8/31/05)of my cycle I will have my first progesterone test. Hoping my levels will be high enough. If not, does anyone know what's next? Shots, etc? One of my friends is now 5 months pregnant after trying for 6 years prior to her twins that they tried for, for 8 years. She had many IUI's over the years and finally got good news. Gives me hope. Baby dust to all. Keep the faith.

GH - August 23

I had my HSG yesterday and the worst part was the worrying I did before it. Took two extra strength Tylenol one hour before. I had a little bit of a dull ache in my abdomen when they inserted the catheter, but otherwise no pain afterwards. The key was to take deep breaths during the procedure. Went to work and everything right after. No blockage, so we are hopeful as all other tests are normal. I am 36 and we've been trying for 15 months, so please keep me in your thoughts. Good luck to everyone.

I have a REALLY stupid question...hope all of you won't laugh at me but if your progesterone level(s) are too low or borderline does that mean/indict you're not pregnant after a round of clomid? Just wondering. Thanks to all....

Emmygyrle - August 24

Wow Stephanie! Are you kidding me?! 16 days after the HSG. What kind of symptoms if any did you feel? I so want to have that happen to me
