Isa- Thanks! I couldn't remember which one was which on the sperm thing. I have heard that they can tell as early as 15 weeks by transvaginal u/s what sex but most drs wait until 20-22 weeks. We have a 3D u/s place that will tell you at 17. Dr. Lee- when did they tell you with yours? My friends have had the transvaginal u/s but the people I work with are going to ob/gyns that don't look until 22 weeks. People I know from other places have found out at 18 or 19 weeks.

Isa I think you got the sperm mixed. The girls are slower but have endurance and that is why if you want a girl you do it before o. That way the girl sperm are there and they last until you o. Nothing new to report. Just feeling anxious. I read that if you see the hb, then you have a 98% chance that everything will stick. Also saw a neat web page that says the sooner you implant, the better chance you have.

Toni -thanx for correctly me on the swimmers. I too read the earlier you implant the better but i cant find that website anymore.Do you remember what it is? Temps still not what I want but nipples still sore but thats been since ovulation/1st iui so not sure if med related or pg related. Starting to feel really down- 3 more days til blood test. I think I can wait without doing an hpt. Tues will only be 13 days past 1st iui.

toni, glad you had a good time yesterday! hopefully your weekend wait is going well for you. how are you feeling? still very sleepy? i took 4 hour long naps today and i am still getting sick all day long. the reglan that my RE prescribed is not helping a bit. isa, you are getting so close to the big day!

Hi everyone, found the new thread! I went for my U/S on Friday and they said I wasn't ready yet, which I figured since it was only my 10cd. I did have about 5 follie, 2 were under 12, 2 were at about 12 and one was at 15. I'am hoping by sunday I'll get a positive OPK and I can have the IUI done on Monday. Ali- about the boy vs girl thing... I have heard and seems to be true that chances are you will have a boy on IUI. There is a huge group of women that I know that have all done IUI's and I would say about 80% have had boys. Girl sperm are slower but stronger and boy sperm are faster but weaker. Using this knowlegde I've been able to predict what my friends are having (the ones that managed to get pregnant on their own). So far I've been right on! Since our ovulation is forced I think its first come first serve..:)

ali, so sorry you are still feeling ill. I hope it starts working before you head away on your trip. Well I was bored and dh wasnt here and I had 2 cheapie hpt's and did one and got a bfn. Well at least I know the trigger shot is out of my system. Today is 10dpo/iui so it would have probably been the earliest to get a positive. I dont know why each day closer to tuesday (my blood hpt) I am feeling more and more negative about this month getting a bfp.Perhaps I am just trying to break the blow incase it is bad news.

Isa - good luck with your blood test - hope for you it is a bfp.
Ali - hope you are feeling better.....after everything to get to this point, and then not being able to enjoy it.
Thanks to everyone who posted notes of support - really helped me to get back into things - after a day of extreme cramps and pain and feeling very low. I am glad I found this site and wish everyone the best of luck with TTC and for those who are already pg - good luck with it and hope you will keep us informed - it shows that there is hope for those of us still TTC. Baby dust to all........

Ali, I am still sleepy and still anxious for tomorrow. My dh has tried to keep me busy. Sorry you are so sick. Do they have other meds you can try? Isa, don't give up. 10 dp iui is very early. But I know how you feel, you are in protection mode. You don't have to prepare for the bfp, but you do need to prepare yourself for a bfn. Lola that is interesting stuff on the boy vs. girl. I have tried to find something on the web about that, but with no luck.

Tobi- I am excited to hear about tomorrow. What time is your apt? I have to call the office if I don't get af tomorrow or Tuesday and then they will do bloodwork and probably put me on a different med.

Becca my appt is not until 3:30. And then I get to drive home in Dallas traffic! What different meds will you do?

Toni- sorry about the name on my last post. I have no clue what meds they are. She told me but I don't remember the name. Something that will make me have a period but it won't be the one I was taking and it won't be provera. Not sure.

lola, thanks for the info on the boy/girl thing. it is interesting that most people you know who did an iui had boys. i only know of two other people who had one and both had boys, so maybe there is something to that. isa, don't let your hopes get deflated about your bfn. i tested on day 14 and the line was so faint on the test, but when i had my beta done the next day my numbers were extremely high. at least you will know now that if you do see a positive you can be sure that it's not false from the trigger shot!! good luck with your last few days! toni, hope you have a great rest of the weekend...only a little over 24 hours left! i will be waiting to hear your post! and becca, i am still keeping my fingers crossed for good results for you! bethany, what's next for you? another iui this cycle? lee, how's it going?

Well last night I had this dream that my beta was 10 so I was pregnant but not a great number. In the dream they told me to go home, put my feet up and relax. Interesting very interesting. My clinic said 6 was pg but on day 12 they like to have nearer to 30 (I think they said odds of lasting is better). Anyways temps still are not where I want them. Boobs arent sore hardly at all (interesting enough I finished my estrogen pills yesterday morning so now I'm wondering if there was a correlation there - I started them cd 10 and boobs started hurting cd 13 (ovulation day/1st iui day). Does anyone know if it could have been my meds? I have abdominal cramping today across all the abs like I would assume af cramps would be but until a few months ago I never ever had a cramp so I'm not that familiar with what af cramps are like. I justknow I am not comfortable today. Hormones ugh. I just want Tues to come so I know one way or the other!! Toni girl - 24 hours yeah (big grin), Ali I'll see if I can find the website I was reading about the girl/boy and when to bd to have that particular sex. And thanx Ali and Bethany thanx for your thoughts on me.
