Welcome and Baby Dust!!

GoGo Trigger - May 9

Hi guys...had to start the new thread. Too much wrist action on the former one required to get to the bottom :D Stacie--your 12 DPO stick looks exactly like mine did--that's exactly how dark my line was. You should have a really good beta ;D Hope things get sorted out soon with that test...that's so frustrating and frankly negligent for the clinic to drop the ball like that. Everything went well yesterday and I even got most of what I started out to accomplish done :D DH and I cleaned out the office for the most part when we dropped the students off after the BBQ, which was great. But I'm feeling it today since I went from 6:15 a.m. to about 12:30 a.m. the next day. My back hurt SO bad yesterday and my belly is looking huge. It was good to grill out though--I did food prep and Matt did the grilling. I am taking it easy today and working on my powerpoint presentation for next week when I defend my Ph.D. dissertation. So more actvity this weekend--we'll leave on Saturday morning for the 8 hour drive to Pennsylvania, see the in-laws for mothers day, go to graduation on Monday, and defend on Tuesday and drive home that evening. Long day!

Stacie, you are totally pregnant! I can't believe it! Congratulations! It looks like we both can graduate to the 1st tri board (after we hear our hearbeats!) (Did I mention to guys I got pregnant too this month getting ready for IVF? Of course right?

Thanks for the new thread GOGO, it was getting very long. Seems like you keeping active, maybe too active...slow down GoGO!haha Congratulations LINDS! Wow, I had not read that this was news to me! That's terrific!!!

ROBYN - May 9

Linds OMG you never mentioned anything congrats congrats how far along are your? You did a "Mega" ? STACI - girl you are so so so pregnant i am so praying for you this works. You know if i get knocked up in a few weeks and our new group of girls gets preggers we are the next group that will all be due around the same time next year. All our other ladies will be pros by then giving us all the advice LOL. Wonderful news lets keep it going.

LINDS----NO WAY!!!! i haven't read the old thread, but really! you are preggo too!!! i am so so thrilled for you! did you pull a mega? that is awesome!! how far along are you? Jody, so sorry you are sore, be careful not to overdue it!! well returned to the office today, it was great, i felt great actually and got dressed up instead of sweats and no makeup, so that helped me feel better too. i am home now though, the temp is using my pc and they don't have a replacement laptop for her to use yet, so my boss sent me home to work on some stuff instead. the scary thing is my boss says there might be some changes coming- she might have to report to a guy she doesn't like- right now she reports directly to our president. so she might be leaving if things don't go well. that will be so sad for me. i will stick it out til i have the baby of course....but then i guess i could contemplate not going back to work after having him and looking for another job....i just don't know. we will see how things go. i wouldn't mind another job- at this point in my career i am not worried about finding another, i know i can, so we will see what happens. hope everyone is having a great day!! LINDS, you made my day with your news!!!

Tink - May 9

Staci, btw- sorry about your test. i read you are cramping and bloated....that is EXACTLY how i felt when i got my BFP. i had cramping for a good 2 weeks starting at about 7 days past O (5 day tx). so i think that is a good sign too, just to add in with your BFP on the POAS!!! congrats!!

I know crazy. Thanks Robyn, Chele, Tink, I did a total Mega...you are right! damn PCOS! I had no idea, but I knew something was up on Sunday when AF didn't show. I had uterine pains all weekend the same as I did when I got pregnant the first time. Anyway, my HCG level on Tuesday was 1,197. I saw my temperature rise on April 22 so that HCG was taken 17 days post ovulation. I remember when I got pregnant the first time, my 17 day post ovulation HCG was only 250, so I am happy with this. But still cautious. I was taking lupron for about 10 days of the pregnancy and quit it on Sunday when I realized something was up. But I got pregnant without meds! Without the lupron, a few days before the lupron. I am just scared right now, after going through a miscarriage, you remain spooked about it all until they see doubling, growth, no ectopic, etc.

Linds--I didn't know either--OMG congrats!! That's completely awesome :D Are you on progesterone at all? Your beta is fabulous :D

ROBYN - May 9

Linds incredible numbers look how well Mega has done on her own and the baby is doing fine and you will be too. I am thrilled for you. QUESTION to girls or maybe JANAE if you do an FET is the day of transfer considered the day of conception and do you know how much sooner you can do an HPT since there is no HCG injection?

linds99 - May 9

Are you transfering blastocysts or are you transferring day 3 embryos?

linds99 - May 9

Thanks Robyn, I hope you are right. Thanks gogo, I am a little skittish about it and uncertain still, we'll see what the u/s reveals tomorrow and blood results. I doubt they would see anything if I was only 19 days post ovulation at an u/s but they think they will if my HCG is over 2,000 by then if I am lucky enought for it to double. Who knows.

Well ladies, it looks like I start lovenox on Friday. They are not making me wait for the retest...we will error on the side of caution. It won't hurt me if I don't need it apparently. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed until then that the hpts keep getting darker and my bean(s) stick like crazy. I am on all of the extra folic acid and b vitamin and I must admit that I do feel different from the last time...so...I am praying my hardest. ***gogo--be careful! Don't over do it! The defense time is almost here. I know you will knock 'em dead! ***Linds-your beta number is great! It looks like I may be a week behind you (give or take) because today is 13dpo. ***Robyn-no ifs about it...you're going to be pg, too! I really believe it! And thanks for the prayers...I'll take whatever positive energy comes my way! To answer your question, I think that with a FET you would say the date of conception is 5 days before the transfer because your blasts are already 5 days old. ***Tink-glad to hear that work is going well. I always feel the same way (about dressing up) when I return to work after summer. Thanks for the congrats! Stacie

Tink - May 9

Linds- awesome number. i know you probably can't help but worry, heck, we will all be worrying for the next 18 years, heck the rest of our lives......about our babies/children. but you are preggo and things look good. just take it a day at a time! i am so so happy!!! i'll be praying for a great doubling number!!

linds99 - May 9

Thanks Tink. Hey stacie, very cool, our due dates will be pretty close then. I think she said my due date was Jan 13 or so. But if you have twins, girl, your gonna deliver those guys in December! Robyn, I agree with stacie, I think you add 5 days to the day you implant those blastocysts and that is your conception. So you would be 5 days done already (plus two weeks or 14 days according to the wheel) so CD 19 on day of transfer.

JB0405 - May 9

LINDS, OMG, OMG!!! You did NOT mention this very important fact! I am so THRILLED for you!! You must've damn near jumped out of your skin! How are you feeling? That number is incredible!! JODY, I said to you on the other thread that you were doing too much and now you will have to take a time out for not listening! ROBYN, good question, I agree with BABYabout the 5 day transfer, it's so hard to keep track of things with IVF & FET, etc. You will still have to wait the 2 weeks, IT IS SO DARN HARD!!
I was so close to testing! I advise that you wiat! HI TINK, Back to work huh?! Ihope your boss will get the answer that she wants about her direct report, that's tough! How are you feeling these days, showing much? I agree with you, LINDS, I am still a worry wart at damn near 5 months along so I get it! GUYS, I think I have a hemorrhoid, has this happened to any of you?! HI CHELE, MS.MONET, MEGA, DCL and anyone else that I may have left out.

chele - May 9

WOW! this thread is starting to perk up w/ tons of bfps as it did awhile back when GoGO, Tink and quite a few others got their bfps! Ok, I hope this rubs off on me too!hahaha This is such wonderful news..... Congrats to all of you! :0) Well a guy I work w/ went through a long TTC journey w/ his wife and finally got their bfp w/ IVF last summer.... guess what she just delivered a healthy baby girl and boy!!! I know of 4 people in my office that went through the TTC IUI/IVF journey and they all have children... two sets w/ twins and the other two w/ singletons... then there is another person going through this at the same time we are... it's just amazing how many people out there need the extra help TTC, and it's not just you...
