Lene--you already said what you do I think--sorry. I forget what people say, since everything is just written! Shannon, that is great that you are finishing your degree. It sounds like your life is super crazy now, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Lena, good, I'm glad you are OK with my curiosity. I'll be there about 8-8:30. If you want to meet me, I'll be the one with really short blonde hair, and I will have my daughter with me. Either way, we'll be be suffering together for the next few days anyway.

i seen your daughter! ah-ha! i know you! i was w/my husband who has a bald haircut - alright he went bald and now cuts it all off :(! but i had black hair and it was in a bun or something. actually, if i am in that early that would be a miracle. i can't wake up for nothing. but, maybe i will be ...he-he! i'll definitely try. i seen your daughter...cute! looks just like you.

Hi - I hope you dont mind me jumping in, but I am trying to get my hopes up after my third unsuccessful IUI. Getting a BFN brought me down a lot this time. I was so sure that I was PG. I guess it was just the high dosage of progesterone I started taking after the procedure. It's really starting to get to me. I havent told any of my friends that my husband and I are trying because I dont want to have the long conversations about my reproductive organs and what's working and what's not., so its really upsetting each month when we get the news and I cant call anyone to cry about it. My DH is great but he is just as frusturated as I am. So this is my therapy, knowing that I am not the only one going through the ups and downs.

lene - January 24

Hey Keisha...sorry to hear about the bfn. try to stay positive...i know that is hard to do..! Are you going to do the process again?

justblue - January 24

from keshia - i just logged in with my screename. i am sure we are going to keep trying its just deciding what the next steps would be. our insurance only pays for one IVF cycle so I figure we will keep trying for another 3 IUI with injectables. I did the first three without the hormones.

Hi keshia. Jump right in! My dh and I are the same as you guys--we tell no one at all. Do you know what your infertility issues are? We have "unexplained" so far.

lene - January 24

justblue r u jumping to hormones next? i know you will get pregnant...so try not to be negative...and trust me, that is all we can be now...i know...but try to be hopeful.

justblue - January 24

Thanks for encouragement Lene, I think my doctor will want to jump to hormones. I will find out this afternoon when I get my bloods back. Ann, my husband has a low motility but when they wash the sperm for IUI, I didnt think it would be a problem anymore so I dont know if there are any other issues. I had an HSG - hyster something or other and my tubes are fine and my follicles mature on their own. We have only been trying for a little over a year and I know it can take some couples longer even when no issues exist.

Ann - January 24

Hi again keshia. I tested fine, too, and so did my dh. I am seeing a RE tomorrow for the first time, so I hope that I can get some more answers before I run out of iuis that will be covered by my insurance (only allow 6)!! Good luck to you. When do you go in for your next u/s?

justblue - January 24

Ann, I had my baseline bloods and ultrasound done last night. So I will find out today. With the last three cycles, I went back on days 8 and 11. we get unlimited IUI's with our insurance but we only get one IVF so I am saving that in case we need to go this route again for baby #2. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow! Be sure to ask lots of questions.

Ann - January 24

Thanks, justblue. That is great that you have unlimited iuis! I have done 3 iuis, but the first two were covered by my old insurance. What questions do you suggest I ask? What cd are you on now? That is great that you have a child already, so you know you can get pg!!

Cristina - January 24

Hi Justblue, sorry to hear that your having problems getting pregnant. Most of us are here because of that. I'm 31 and I've been trying for 2 years now and I've been through every test and also the HSG test. Me and my Dh are both fine. We have unexplained fertility. I know how frusturating it can be. I guess you don't want to try IVF? I don't want to either. I don't care how many times I have to try IUI, I think it's very invasive. By the way, don't worry about jumping in....that's what we are all here for. Lene & Elyse...what a coincidence it is that you both go to the same place. Lene, although I'm in Westchester the place I go to is about a minute from my job which is great because all the times I go for my sono's...its doesn't interfere with work.

justblue - January 24

Ann - I am also keshia, I posted before I logged in and my screename changed. I also left out a word in previous post, I meant to say we are saving the IVF when we start trying for #2. We havent gotten #1 yet, but my DH and I always talk about having two or three kids.

justblue - January 24

Ann, I'm on day 3. So its going to be a long month. My last cycle was 31 days because of the progesterone. I got my BFN on Friday.
