I think that's probably a good idea Ann, making appts. with more than 1 RE, in case you click more w/ 1 than the other. Always good to keep those options open. But like you said, hopefully you can cancel the May appt. :)

I was shocked that at both places a real live person answered the phone. I think that is a good sign.

Hi everyone, I am sorry I am not writing as much these days, I am just too busy. However, you are all in my thoughts all the time. Ann, I am glad you are finally talking to someone live. I am a bit confused. Are you planning to change your RE now? I know he is at a different ofc, which you are not thrilled baout. What about the appt on Tues? Is that another new RE or is it this one? I know you are gone tomorrow on your recruit trip and I hope it goes by fast for you. Try and get some sleep when you get home. Keep visualizing.....:) Chris, when is your cd3 day appt? Mega, how are you feeling? Your vacation sounds like a lot of fun. I agree with Ann, NY is amazing. My grandpa lives there and we go back every year for his b-day. It is one of my favorite cities. I don't know if I would live there though. Unless I was a multi-millionaire and could afford that upper east side lifestyle. It is just crazy expensive to have a place in Manhattan. Anyways, I am going out with the girls tonight. We are going to the W Hotel for drinks. I am actually looking forward to it, hopefully take my mind off of the craziness of work. Hope all of you have a good night. :)

Morning ladies, MUCH BETTER TODAY! Yes Galina codine! what the heck? My gosh my head was sagging to the papers yesterday i was so out of it, i could barely email.. Ann ok so you get to talk to someone LIVE? isn't that awesome! Sometimes doc's are just so bad about returning calls especially when you really need them. yesterday i called my doc 3 times because i wanted to talk about the antibiotics effecting the clomid and they reassured me it wouldn't. Galina you so deserve those drinks, how was it? Did you have a good time? Mega how you feeling on your IUI stuff? I'm sure you're just trying to keep it out of your mind.. Isn't it funny how they call Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes' baby Tomkitten.. haahaa i think it's too funny. They surely got a really pretty name though.. Suri.. i like it. Yes Mega we're in BBQ country, i can eat it all day long too Ann! Did you go to Dickies again? right that's the place? Well i know you can't email today but HI!! hope you have a good day. Lilly2, hope you get to feeling better. Tonight me and Dh go to a Spurs game. Can't wait i can have beer and greasy food without feeling bad.. :)

Good morning! Ann, have a great recruitment trip & bring back lots of great candidates! You have a spa day coming too, no? I'm glad you got to talk to real LIVE people at both REs', a good sign I'd say. Chat with you when you get back. Hope you got to sleep in a bit today. Christina--I'm glad you're feeling better today. Yes, codine & work aren't a great combo! I agree with you, I actually like the name Suri, at least as far as celeb names go. Am I the only one though so sick of hearing about those 2?! You're right, I'm not dwelling too much these days on the fact I'm in the 2 ww. Next week though MIGHT be a different story though. LOL! Lilly--hang in there. I'm sorry you're not feeling well, but then again they say that morning sickness can actually be a good sign though that you have a healthy bean in there, so that's GREAT. I love that one of your doggies is going thru pregnancy herself, too cute. Though she'll give birth way before you! Galina--hope drinks at the W hotel was a blast. Yes, you definitely deserved/needed a girls' night. What wonderful yummy cocktails did you have? I'm excited about vacation, though it's still a couple weeks away. I think it's Christina going to NY. We haven't decided where we're going yet. We'll make the decision (I'll make the decision) this weekend. It's between renting a house on the Outer Banks of NC & we'd able to take Kafka (our doggie) with us which would be so cool, unless he decides to eat the place. No joke! Or doing a history tour, going to Williamsburg, VA & doing the history triangle. Both would be fun. Do you guys think it would be warm enough for me to swim if we went to the Ocean? That's the big deciding factor for me, I'm an Ocean girl for sure. Okay, now that I wrote a novel, I've got to get back to work. Hang in there Galina! Hope the move is going well. Don't work too hard. Ha!

Galina - April 19

Good morning ladies: Lilly, I am sorry you are not feeling so great these days. You are doing all you can to make it better by eating more often and sleeping but that is just a part of the first 3 mos that you just have to go through. Just think of the beautiful gift you have growing inside of you! Ann, I hope today is not so bad with the recruits and you don't get back to late to get some rest! Christina, I am glad you are feeling better. I don't know if you read my last post, but I was wondering where you are in your cycle now (cd?) and if you would be going in for a cd3 u/s or trying another IUI? Hey Mega, last night was a blast. Believe it or not I did nor consume any alcohol at all (I was driving) and had so much fun. It was some event called French Tuesday, which started in NY and it was full of Europeans and great music. We danced and danced and danced until it was time to go home. I woke up this morning thinking that it is amazing how those drugs we take and the HCG shot affect our bodies. For me, especially my bbs. They are so normal now and after the HCG they were huge and sore. Unfortunately, I kept thinking b/c they were sore, I might be pg, but now I know that it is truly impossible to look so much into signs b/c your body is so out of wack. Anyways, I am going to go get ready for work and check on you guys later. :)

ChristinaC - April 19

galina glad you had a great time. Today is cd5 on the ferility monitor.. What day are you?

Galina - April 19

Christina, I am cd22. So, I guess you never went to the RE's ofc for a cd3 appt? Are you sitting this cycle out from IUI?

ChristinaC - April 19

they don't make me go back once i start. I go on Monday cd 10 for the ultrasound on how many follies i have. this is our last round clomid/IUI. and after this we'll probably stop for a while and concentrate on each other. What options do they give you after your 3rd IUI, do you know Galina? Your dancing night sounds so much fun! I'm itching to go dancing too!

Galina - April 19

Christina, I am waiting for AF to come this month and then I will go to RE on cd3 for the u/s. Hopefully, all of the follicular cysts I had left over that were over-stimmed will be gone and I can try again for round 3 of IUI. I just don't know what the RE will use as far as the drug b/c I DO NOT want to go through what I went through w/being over-stimmed again. If the 3rd IUI won't work, I am already mentally preparing myself for IVF, which is what I would do next. I truly hope it won't come to that though, but if it must, I will do whatever it takes. Gosh, it sure is hard to be in our boat...

ChristinaC - April 19

So once your cycle starts over then you go on the 3rd day so they can check everything? That's good, i hope as well all is better and cleared up for you. My dh and i have talked and right now i don't know if we're ready for IVF. We've talked adoptions too.. I guess we'll do the 3rd IUI and see what happens.. :) Yes it is hard being in our shoes..

ChristinaC - April 19

i need to vent! a 'friend' of mine and i were once talking and i'd told her the name of my baby whenever i'd have one. She stole the name and is having her baby today.. I'm happy they're having a baby and it's healthy.. I am just so upset about her doing that. I don't know how to move past it, isn't that screwed up girls?

Mega - April 19

Hi! Yes, it's a hard boat we're all in. Galina--I'm glad you had a blast last night. Sounds like a FUN night, designated driver & all. So, you're on CD 22 already, huh? The next cycle will be here before you know it. You're right though, those are powerful chemicals we pump thru our bodies in the quest to have a baby. When I went to the eye dr for new contacts a couple months ago he could tell my eyes were very dry, more so than normal & said it was from all the hormones I'd been taking for fertility. I thought that was interesting. Christina--stealing your baby name, ouch! That wasn't fair of her to do at all. Was she pg at the time you both had that conversation? I don't think the fertile types think about things like that, how having a baby is everything to us. I'm sorry she did that, but it's great news that her baby is healthy. I don't see why you can't still use the name though, if she says something remind her you thought it up first. After your 3rd Clomid/IUI cycle you can still do more IUIs, I just had my 5th I think. But the dr might think about switching you to injectibles. Or maybe Femara might be something worth discussing. It's a breast cancer drug now commonly used for fertility, cheaper than injectibles (probably cheaper even than Clomid) & most women respond better on that than Clomid, fewer s/e too. Just a few options worth mentioning. Hopefully though this will all be moot & this Clomid cycle will be your lucky cycle.

ChristinaC - April 19

yes i'll still use it, it just makes it hard right now knowing we've been trying and no baby.. but i just have to move past it.. try to some how. I am responding to Clomid very well so i don't know what route they'll want to take after our 3rd one..

ChristinaC - April 19

:) girls is it beer time yet?
