I sure am having alot of cramps for 6 piui.. but i always dread AF girls!

Ann, so with the interviews today sounds like you're going to have another long day ahead of you. Wow, up to 2:30, yikes, not a lot of sleep last night for you. It's funny, 2:30 is about when I woke up and had so much trouble falling back to sleep. I'm not too tired right now though, probably b/c I feel too blah. I think I'm getting sick, darn hubby infected me. :) Good timing for the shots. Oh well. Well, FedEx just emailed me, saying they delivered my meds. So that's one less thing to worry about. And I got the appt. for DH's sample to freeze tomorrow. They said 36 hrs abstinence should be fine. Oh ChristinaC, 6 DP IUI is pretty early for AF cramps, I'd think. When do you usually feel crampy, yucky before the witch shows her face? Fingers' crossed for good news for you. What meds did you use this cycle? Are you on injectibles? Is this your 1st IUI? Hi guys: Mega, the article was about how more and more men who have to undergo cancer treatment are freezing their sperm. The article said that the sperm does not lose its potency and that this has become very popular. In your case, especially, the freezing of the sperm will be for such a short period of time. Ann, you sound like a very busy lady!! I take it you also had to get up early in the am and go to work after such a long night! Well, at least tomorrow is Friday. I didn't sleep well last night either. Brittany decided she wanted to sleep w/us and I can never say no, because it feels so nice to have her next to us in the middle. However, now that she has braces the child snores like a wild animal! Dh ended up going to sleep in the guest bedroom and I just stayed up listening to the roar of the wild tiger! Christina, maybe what you are feeling is implantation?? Did you have a chance to go to the www.twoweekwait.com website? Hey Mega, I am on 50mg 3-7 Clomid cycle and this is my 2nd IUI. My husband has low count and low motitly. We've been trying for 3 years in May. I usually cramp several days before hand but my bb's are already sore too.. so all i can do is wait :( I thought it early too to cramp. Supposed to start on 14th.. Yah AF sucks!

Mega, I am not actually doing the interviews like I did last week (I just went to the pre-interview dinner last night out of town). They are on campus and I am back at the office today. Awesome news on the meds arrival! Do you have to give the shots in the upper, outside 1/4 of your butt? I hope they don't hurt too much. How much cheaper are the muscular shots? Galina, yes, of course I had to come to work today--ugh! I was about 30 minutes late, but I didn't think that was too back after going to sleep 4-5 hours later than my norm. What is going on with you today? Are you still packing to move?

Do the fertility shots create more follicles Ann? Gosh, i'd have a hard time getting up if i didn't go to sleep until 2:30

Hi Ann, yes I'm still packing little by little, but it is difficult because I can't pack any of the client files and stuff that we need on a daily basis. Half of what I did pack, my employees are starting to unpack because they say they need one thing or another. Oh well! On a different note, my partner at the adult day health care center, who also happens to be a chiro/accupuncturist, told me that her very close friend is a the girlfriend of the new RE specialist I am going to see today. It turns out, I actually met the girl-friend at a fundraiser. So, I asked Vicki (my bus. partner) for the girlfriends' phone # and I called her and left a msg to call me back. So, she calls me back yesterday, and I was vey nice and told her briefly that I plan to see her boyfriend tomorrw for an consultaion and if at all possible if she can put in a "good/friendly" word for me. She said she would. I don't know if it will make any difference, financial or any other type, but I know frompersonal experience that if a friend calls me and tells me they are referring a client or a friend of theirs is coming to see me, I always try to take "extra special" care of them. Hope it works! My appt is at 2pm today.

Christina, I am not sure about the difference b/w Clomid and injectables, as I never tried Clomid and went straight for the shots. I did respond very well to them and produced lots of follies, but unfortunately no BFP.

By the way, is this thread getting too long yet? Ann, you are the best one to answer this question...if it takes too long to open on your Blackberry, then it is too long and we may need to open part 3. Let me know girls.

Galina, that is great you will have an "in" w/the RE. If nothing else, it will make him remember you, which should lead to a better experience. Yes, this is too long for the Blackberry as of last Friday! I was so bummed I couldn't read your posts yesterday when I was out of down.

Galina--what a small "world," huh? That's funny that you've met the gf of the RE you're seeing today. Good luck with that appt. by the way. I'm eager to hear how it goes. That's good that the article confirmed what I've heard about freezing not losing any potentcy. I'm not 100% sure we'll even use this sample but it's good insurance, but wherever possible I'd rather have the fresh stuff. I'm glad that's a viable option for those poor men going thru chemo though. Ann--well that's good at least that you don't have to do the interviews, but I gather today is just business as usual. Yes, that's exactly the spot where I'm getting my shots, the upper 1/4th quadrant of my butt/hips region, something like that. Hopefully DH can figure out the right spot & miss a blood vessel too. I'll let you know tomorrow if it's an ouchy spot. You're doing your shots subq, right? On the tummy? You know, the IM meds probably weren't any cheaper than the subq after all. The way my dr was talking, it sounded like I might get them for like $750, $800 or so but it turned out to be $994. Oh well, I knew there was a good chance I'd be spending something in that neigborhood. ChristinaC--That's the theory at least. I never managed to grow more than 1 mature follie on Clomid, so we'll see how much better I respond to the Repronex. My dr was talking like he expected me to grow at least 3 or 4 follies now. Good luck with the Clomid cycle. Are you getting monitored via u/s? How many follies did you have for this IUI?

hi girlls, again out of bad at 3am.Christina C good luck with yours signs, i was crampy at day6,7 like af is on the way, but give yourself more time is to early to know more.We abstaned from monday till thursday, than friday arvo we had iui.As well we did bd every day for about6,7 days and if is not rude i stayed with legs up, resting on the wall for 30min each time.I was worried about iui timming b/c i had trigger shot at 8.30 morning and iui was 2.30-3pm so just couple of hours latter.Good luck.Pinky wish good fresh start with new doctor as well to you Mega and pray you'll be treated better and it will end in positive pg test.Mega my fingers crossed for yours injectible, before my dh started to give me injections, we said a little prayers...I am praying for you.Anna good like with trigger shot and happy bd.Mega, friday or suturday -the better,should be ok and as you said you dont want to missed this cycle than do even on friday if cant suturday.Shouldnt be a problem with normal semen count.We did abstain first iui as nurse suggested 2 days and it was 60 millions but second iui we absteind mond-thyrsday and then friday we had 2.30pm iui and sample, 160mil was there at 1pm.When you starting injectibles?.Ann how are you busy girll?I am still shaking what will be and dont think i'll have beta test sooner than 12/4 when i will know more.I didnt wnat to aske for bete numbers b/c sceard but nurse last time said is goo.As you know it is early pregnancy and i am praying for all to be good.I dont know how i am doing, have a bit sore and havier boobs, and a bit burning sensations in tummy as well have white discharge so have to use small pads.I am resting a lot with legs up b/c sceard of blood clothes.Having a lots of water.Sometimes i have mild pain shoting on left or right side tummy.My dh dont want me to lift anything b/c it may be dengerous in this stage and i am trying not to be exposed on to much hot, like cooking for a long time.We agree not to say anyone this time until we see.It is so hard for him b/c hi is so happy, but i am shore i would love to know first is all ok.Most m/c happaning in the first 6 weeks but it is still dengerous up to 10-12 weeks.As well today is just 33 days of LPM.Ann are you ready for this cycle?Galina, hope you are in better mood and wandering when you'll start bh this month?How are Katie and Jammie Lynne?Is there any other good news girlls?I am having early breakky again, doys halping a lot and Indy is pregnant to so she can eat and eat and look like she'll have 10 pups.I keep praying for you girlls and for me too and belive God will hel us all to achive happy pregnancy and to give birth to 1,2.3 or more babies each!My thoughts with you, now going to eat i have haertburn again.

Hello ladies!! Gosh I miss a lot during the day! Well I went for my bloodwork this morning. I was supposed to get same day results but they never called. Anyhow, I have had spotting last 3 days... brown in color. Temps is still down but holding steady for the last couple of days at 98.2 - My stomach is still really off and I have had heartburn too. bb's still swollen but don't hurt. I don't know what to think.... how are all of you doing??
