Sorry I have been out of touch! Im on day 2, i'll start taking clomid on Thursday. I have a dye test Tuesday, U/S Wednesday ( W/ injections), and hopefully the IUI on Thursday! It's so much to take it all at once! I think i've got it straight though :)

CAI- I tested yesterday yesterday morning and got a BFN... I was supposed to get AF today, but as of right now it still hasnt arrived. My stomach has been cramping though so I am sure it will be too much longer. I guess I will be doing IUI #2 this month.

Hi mssy419, glad to hear that AF visited. Are they doing the dye test to see if your tubes are clear (open)?

CAI- the specialist said that it wasn't necessary, but better safe than sorry. I agree, especially with learning about this whole process and paying for our swimmers. We just dont have another $500 just lying around! :)

Hi CAI, I am ok, rough couple of days, but I have wonderful supportive friends who are helping me feel better. AF did arrive later on Monday, so after a doctor's visit and utrasound on Friday, I hope to be starting round 2, with meds possibly starting Saturday. I hope all of us with BFN's this round will see much better results this time around! I am trying to keep my chin up, and I hope you are too. The weather has been a bit better, so that is helping! I think that I intend to spring clean my house like a crazy person in my 2nd 2ww (after a day of complete rest) to keep my mind and body busy this time round. I am also scrutinizing my priorities and reevaluating what is important to me to clear the cobwebs from my head as well, hoping my next cycle is a much more centered and happy experience. Hope you are feeling well, babydust to you and all the others out there starting the process all over again!

Nice to hear from you YellowMutt. Here in the Caribbean is very hot and we are not getting much rain so that adds to the hear. I am scheduled for an u/s on Mar 17 and hopefully will have the IUI on Mar 19.

Well it is official... AF came today. I have a dr. appt in the morning and I guess I will be doing iui #2 this month, probably around the 24th. YellowMutt, I feel the same way you do. I am going to try to stay as calm as possible and focus on other things. Hopefully we will get our BFP's this month! Goodluck to all :)

Does anyone know if it's a rule to not take an anti-depressant while going through IUI? I heard today that you shouldn't take them when you are pregnant, so I'm a little concerned! The specialist knows that I am taking them though....

Hi mssy419, I could not find anthing on the Internet with regards to the anti depressants however, it more than likely does not matter since your specialist had no objections.

I go for my u/s on March 17 to determine if my increase in dosage gave me more follicles. Will let you ladies know.

Well I went to the dr. this morning and had an u/s to see how my ovaries looked... they looked good. My dr. refuses to move to injectables just yet or upping my dosage of clomid to 100 mg rather than 75mg. He did decide to try me on 5mg of Femara this cycle on days 3-7. I go back next Friday for another u/s to check out my follicles. I pray that I do better on Femara than I did on clomid. Has anyone on here tried Femara with an IUI??
