rrc- I could have ovulated around CD20. I'm a late ovulater anyway. Maybe that's the case. Who knows! I don't chart and I didn't do OPKs this month. Just the tons of meds (clomid, estrogen, progesterone, and some pre-seed too). I think my OB started me on 100mg to be aggressive with the treatment. I miscarried in November so she knows I'm getting tired of waiting around. If this month is not my month I'm going to ask to be upped to 150mg. I also am going to ask her to do an u/s around ovulation time to see if Clomid is doing what it's supposed too. I just don't think I'm ovulating yet! Catalina- I had no idea you could buy things like that over the internet. If I would've known that I would have started on clomid when I started TTC in April! If I'm not pregnant this month and not pregnant next month, I plan on going to a RE and getting this damn show on the road! I am sooooooooo inpatient!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on our loss this past Dec. I guess for me, it was disappointing, but because we didn't actually see anything (Via ultrasound) that there was no bond. wantanotheraftertr, I'm not sure about everyone else, but as for me, as soon as I ovulate I will be started on Baby Aspirin because just recently I tested positive for Antinuclear Antibodies. Basically, the baby aspirin is given from what I have read and been told, to prevent your blood from clotting. If you test positive for ANA or APA then you have a higher chance of experiencing blood clots. If you are pregnant, then the blood clot would prevent the proper amount of blood to be transfered to the placenta. From what I have read, you shouldn't be taking Baby Aspirin unless prescribed and are monitored by your doctor as it acts as a mild blood thinner. Wow, I think this will be a good month for everyone. Everything sounds so promising. I have to admit the 2WW is going to be had for me as I'm sure it is for everyone. Hopefully I will be able to keep busy. Is anyone testing soon?

hi all! Filledwithfaith wow thats alot to go thru. did the dye mess with you after it entered the blood stream? I almost had to have that test to see how much tube I had left on the uterus side. I opted for the lap. before surgery and told him if there was enough to just open me up and do it. which he did. Thanks Hannah for the info I have been doing well so far consulting Re before doing anything I am so afraid of missing my chance by doing something wrong. I have refused to take antibiotics when sick till this month for fear of it messing me up. I finally got so sick sinus and ears that I had to take them. Dr. made sure it was safe for pregnacy. I think I will be o tomorrow. I seen a faint line on the opk today yesterday I didn't see any so will be bd and then the 2ww anyone else close to 2ww or testing? Babydust!!!

Wow its great to see so many new ppl too! rrc, we are trying for our 1st, but its really put a strain on our relationship, so I'm hoping this works the first go around, i think he doesn't want to get his hopes up for fear nothing will happen, but i'm staying positive. yea im w/you sharerc, if I'd known you could buy these w/o a Rx, I would've bought them 2yrs ago!! I feel like I'm going it alone b/c my gyno doesn't really seem that interested in what I'm wanting, so if he doesn't give it to me, then going the non Rx route. I think there's alot more women w/PCOS b/c I have it as well and it makes me so upset sometimes when I see my gf and her sister both get preggo, & they wish they weren't preggo, I'm like, give it to me then, I would love to be preggs right now!! I think I'm going to have to take the provera b/f the clomid, af hasn't shown up this month either, though I did get a little spotting (I think thats what it was, it only showed up maybe 2x's and it had a small clot in it, srry if tmi, but has anybody else had this problem. no af in Jan. either) I think all women Dx w/PCOS should have ultra sounds, i'm scared I have a hard shell around them now, thks for the response catalina & yea I feel like i'm a freaking pharmaceutical co. w/all the pills & vitamins i'm taking, folic, vitex, metformin 1500mg/day, mix of borage,evening primrose & flaxseed oil. The metformin is not a nice drug at all. Sorry so long, but wanted to answer all the posts. It is nice to have a place to go & discuss all this filledwithfaith. i have a Q .my Dr put me on Clomid yest to start my pd. but im reading all of ur answers and mine doesnt add up??? havent had a pd sice dec.. did blood tests a mo ago, came back normal. im confused

Hi everyone. rrc, you are right..we are on a similar time in our cycle. I took clomid cd3-7, todays its cd9. I will start using OPK on cd12. I am also taking prenatals which my RE prescribed for last 2 months. Seems we all ready to have that BFP. :) Keep writing.

Jaycee, are you okay with twins? I think they'd be kinda fun. I only want two kids anyway, so why not get it done with all at once. :) Vistagirl, welcome! I think most of us here have been taking clomid to induce ovulation. And I suppose a side effect would be that you'd get a period. I think there's usually other meds to induce periods, though. Hope that helps.

my Dr doesn't know if i ovulate, i have not Tested,,, i believei ovulated a week ago,,, i usually ovulate when i have clear mucus like discharge(sorry TMI)and i had That with pinkish blood when i whipped ,wen away in 2 hrs. That is why im confused, should i Take it because my Dr told me to???Thanks for responding

Hi vistagirl81, What directions did he give you? Your dosage and the length that he prescribed you? Did you ask the pharmacists? The pharmacist can tell you a lot about your meds and the reason they would be used. You should ask them and IF they give you a totally different reason to as why it would be prescribed, I would call the MD and ask if gave you the right Rx. I'm just suggesting if you have questions on whether it's right, do your self justice, and ask as many questions to as many people possible. It's so important to question the MDs today. I for one think the medical field is really screwed up.. So I would definitely ask alot of questions. What tests did he do?

Hey everyone....Happy Friday to all. rrc... I think you're right most of us are on Clomid just to get us ovulating.... I'm just waitin for af to show up.... hasn't since dec. I guess its just a waiting game... doc said he won't give anything to induce af. Really excited and a little nervouse to start clomid.... kinda worried about all the s/e I've been reading about. Vistagirl, I agree with Daniela that you should ask lots of questions. As I understand it, you're not supposed to take clomid until cd 2 at the very earliest, and usually cd3 or 5. How do you know what day that is if you haven't had a period since dec? Also, on the slight chance that you're currently pregnant, I've read that clomid could cause very bad thing to the fetus. Have you checked to make sure you're not currently pregnant?

Vista, I agree with RRC...you should ask lots of questions. Are you going to a fertiliy specialist (RE) or just your regular OBGYN? I have found that the RE's are a lot better with these things. After all it is what their primary focus is. I think you should get blood work done and if you aren't currently pregnant, get your doctor to prescribe provera or something to start your period. Is there a reason why he said he wouldn't give you anything?

Hey sharerc, is tomorrow still the big testing day? How are you feeling? Do you think you could be pregnant? Hannah, was your second insemination today? Is that all there is now, and then just wait? The dreaded 2ww! :) Skykennels and Daneila, has AF showed yet? TGIF everyone! :)

RRC, yes my 2nd insemination was this morning. We did a sonogram after the insemination and my 3 mature follicles still have not released. So I will go back in tomorrow and get another sonogram done to see if they have collapsed. So yeah I guess I am in the waiting period, however, its not the 2ww. I never thought I would say this, but I wish I was in the 2ww. At least I would know that there is a possibility soon. I'm not sure what the doctor will say if the trigger shot i had doesn't release the follicles. I'm going crazy over here to be honest with you.
