hi ladies! I posted a little while ago, but wanted to give an update... .i went to my new DR who confirmed PCOS, and started me on provera to get a cycle, then 50mg clomid 5-9 and 1000mg metformin. My boyfriend is out of the country for work and wont be home till June 1st, so there is no point in filling my scripts now... but I am so anxious about starting the clomid again after my m/c last Oct. hello!
heather, are you making sure to take your temp at the same time every morning? and not doing anything before you take it? they might be a little up and down during clomid but after they should settle down. i temped for like 9 months! it gives you a lot of info.

HEATHER, I was wondering the same thing as TK - are you doing it the same time every morning and not getting up at all before?? I temped for a year and a half and learned so much through it. I agree that Taking Charge of Your Fertility is a great purchase for TTC. Well, I took my first clomid last night and so far feel absolutely fine - no side effects at all! Actually, I was feeling really good this am - maybe I should be on clomid all the time!! LOL! Well, I'm off. I'll catch ya later.

Hey yall how are we doin??? The weather is AWESOME! I am still awaiting ovulation, but I was confused on how long to take the progesterone suppositories? They gave me 14, but I didnt know If I would need a refill?

I know that progesterone is critical after ovulation, so you might want to call you doctor and ask them about it.

hello ladies.. today i had an appointment.. and my dr. said that if af dosent show up for 2 weeks after its supposed to.. then i should test.. then if its a bfn i should start the provera and start my last round of clomid.. im really freaked out.. because its my last round. and if it dosent work.. then i have to go for ivf and i called the office down in soldotna and there saying that it runs around $1800 per round.. and i just dont think i can afford that right now.. well.. im not gonna get worried about it.. cause theres still a chance for this month and next.. and if it dosent work out.. i'll just continue taking my metformin and take some time off.. and save up some money.. or maybe find a seragant mother.. i duno.. i mean its atleast an option.. i just duno if i could handle that.. because i wana go through the hole experience of being a mother.. i dont want to miss out in a minute of it!.. well im just goin to stay positive and not think about it.. how is everyone else doing?? baby dust!! and sticky dust to you soon to be mothers!!

that's a bummer kaytee :( how many rounds have you done so far?
that is pretty cheap for ivf! i thought it was like 10,000! but you still have 2 months so good luck!!!!

this is not rally related to clomid.. i just ahve no one to talk to about it.. My husband says he wants to have a baby, but when the dr. told us the days to BD.. from the 20th to the 28th... he;s always to tired or something is going on,,, before the 20th he was fine and i know after the 28th he will be back to his old self.. but im getting so angry and frustrated... clomid has made me gain weight , real bad hot flashes, i get so emotional, but i know it is worth it when i have my baby,,, but how can i do that without his help. i ask him all the time and he says i do,, but have any of u had the feeling that your husband does not when he says i do.. and if you have what do yoi think i should do??? and he is going on a dept next mo for a cpl of weeks and he wont be here when i ovulate not to mention he is going on deployment in a cpl mo i feel as though i wont have enough time...thanks... ho and ps... i have been feeling cramps on the left side... do you think i might have ovulated.

that is a tough one... my dh didn't give me a problem like that but he did not like it when i planend it out and said we have to bd this day thru this day etc.... i would say to confront him about it and tell him your worries and how you are taking this medication so you 2 can have a baby and you feel like he doesn't want one now. maybe is he nervous about leaving if you get pregnant? and wants to put it off? that would make me sad too, i had one month where i knew it just wouldn't happen because it was so forced and it didn't. well, good luck!
when was your last pill? i had sharp twinge pains when i ovulated and it can be on either side and i had a + opk then too so i knew.

tk.. this is my third round.. my dr only wants me to do 3 rounds of acually ovulating from it.. so i have 1 more to go.. i went ahead and got the perscription filled.. and had them mail it.. just in case.. just wish me luck ladies.. i really need it right now.. baby dust!!

Hey ladies, well - I took my last clomid for the first round last night. I haven't had much in the way of side effects, but have been kinda weepy since last night. It's not quite so bad, since I know it is probably just the meds... How are you all holding up??

my last pill was the 16th of this mo. im not sure when i ovulated at all. i felt pain before but it was to early to be ovulation pains.

okay hope you dont mind if i post.....I NEED HELP, had hsg done last month, was to start clomid day 3-7 and i chickened out :-( i am so scared of the side effects, please tell me all about your side effects....I already get migraines, so I am alittle worried about that, tell me about the mood swings, I am scared I may hurt someone, When I get PMS, I get ANGRY, and do a lot of yelling. Does it take you out of your right mind (don’t laugh) I have just heard some terrible things about the mood swings, and I just want to make sure that you always in your right mind, and you remember the things going on or things you are doing??? Not that you do crazy things, and have no idea what’s going on. The reason for this question is that I got rushed to the hospital with a migraine and they gave me a mixture of medicine that messed with my head so bad that it took me 5 days to be myself again, it made me unable to sleep, get comfortable, stand up for a long time it was the most awful thing I had been through so I am really careful with new things, I hope you understand and I hope I am not bothering you…..

hello! vista, you probably did ovulate anywhere from april 21-25ish. most people do in that time frame after the last pill. i was always the last day (9 days after)

the side effects don't effect everyone the same. i haven't heard of anyone having that bad of mood swings! maybe just more irritable or cry easier. and for me it was only hot flashes but other ladies have said if you take the pill before bed it lessens that. i of course took them in the morning and had night sweats! i guess all i can say is try it for one month and see how it goes, if you hate don't do it again. the first month was my worst month for side effects and the next 2 were a lot better and less.

Hey ladies. I finished up the clomid the day before yesterday and though I was going to get away without the side effects. I didn't realize they would just start on my last day! My vision was blurry on and off yesterday, but is fine so far today. I have only had a couple of very mild hot flashes, but I have been very tired and keep crying over everything. BABYBOUND, I don't think it will be too bad, especially knowing the side effects possible before they happen. I think they are different for everyone.

thanx for responding to my post:P I had a good talk with my husband,( o told him he wasn't going to sleep until we talk about it) He wants to have a baby but he does not want to get his hopes up high just to have them let down when i get my pd.. and hopefully next mo. i wont feel as though im the only one trying:P
