Hi Kaytee, not sure where I read it but it does help the sperm if you have an orgasm first...I believe it is beacause it produces just the right cm to help sprem along...hope this helps...Samantha

We have been ttc for about 2 1/2 years with no success. I knew it was my problem, because I rarely got a period, once I stopped taking the pill. The doctor told me that I most likely wasn't ovulating and did some blood work and now here I am starting the clomid. But anyway, our hopes are high and we wish everyone the best.

HEATHER, if you're only problem is irregular ovulation I think you'll get a bfp no problem on the clomid! Once they get the dosage right and you definitely O, you should be set. Got my fingers crossed. I am STILL waiting for AF. I can't believe how late I am. I'm always like clockwork. AF must know I want her to come this month... LOL!

Hi Ladies! Sorry, I've been gone so long. Welcome Heather & Nicole. I believe Nicole asked about my cycle to get my BFP...Praise God (I just have to say that everytime. I took clomid 50 MG CD5-9 for two cycles. The second cycle I got my BFP. The only thing I did differently the second time around is use Pre-seed. I think with the combonation of my body adjusting to clomid, pre-seed and lots of prayer is the result of our BFP!!!! My husband and I have been trying for approximately 18 months. I am 33 and my dh is 37. We have been married for little over 2 years. Oh, and side effects...well I took clomid at night and I didn't experience hardly any side effects. It is possible they happened through the night. However, I do recall being extremely dry the second round (first round my CM was perfect) so the pre-seed came in handy and it worked!
I must admit ladies, that I don't really feel pg because I have been very blessed with hardly no symptoms. In the beginning I was very gassy and bloated...of course my breast are still extremely soar. Other than that and wanting Ranch dressing on everything, nothing at all. Oh yeah, at first I had a couple of pimples...but nothing at all. Feel really blessed to be in this situation with hardly any symptoms but on the other hand sometimes I run and take hpt to make sure I am still pg. I think I will stop after my doc visit on next week. Love you guys and wish all the newbees many, many baby blessings.

Hi ladies! I've only posted once so let me RE-introduce myself. I'm Alison (31) married to DH (32) we are ttc our 4th child. We currently have 3 boys and wish to add another. I took my first round of clomid last month on days 5-9. I'm now on cd 31 with no sign of AF. I have no clue what's going on. I'm not being monitored on the clomid, I mean I am, my dr gave it to me but he's not having me go for the u/s's and progesterone tests. I did one before I started the clomid and i definitely o'd. So that's a good thing. I took a test on Monday and it was BFN. I'm sure I o'd had some gnarly pains this time around. Also.. I've had creamy cm for like the past 1 1/2 wks.. I'm so confused... OH yeah and this is our 8th mos of ttc. Thanks ladies and I hope to hear from you all soon.

hello! how many weeks are you mother2b? i didn't really start symptoms until 6 weeks then they only lasted that week! but then i did get really tired all the time and my skin got kind of bad, which is a huge bummer going into summer and i am supposed to be in a wedding in june!
heather, clomid worked for me because of my irregularity, so good luck!!!

yest. i felt ovulation pains again. it was only 2 days after i stopped talking the pills, i din't know if i already ovulated or i am going to ovulate soon?? has this happened to anyone. Last mo i felt the ovulation pains while i was still taking the pills, the dr. confermed that i did ovulate but not when.im confused, thanks for reading this.

Hi Ladies! I guess I spoke too soon about the pimples...they are coming back:-). However, I count it all a blessing! I am approximately 7 weeks if you go by my LMP and 30 day cycle. And still no extreme symptoms...just sore boobs. Vista - I don't think you have ovulated yet...that is kind of too soon for the clomid to take affect. I got hot flashes today and I was totally excited! I know it sounds crazy but I really did and I couldn't figure out why I kept getting so hot and then it doned on me that I must be getting hot flashes. So I was wondering if the hot flashes ment that the clomid was working or not? Also I'm already getting sore boobs and I feel crampy and I know it's not in my head it really is happening to me. Anyone else have this happen to them?

AF finally started this morning, so I'll be starting the clomid on Saturday. I'm supposed to go to a concert with a lady from church that night, so hopefully I won't be feeling to funky... ;o) Thanks TK, for cheering me on - LOL! It worked! hello ladies.. Vista.. its way to early to be geting ovulation pains.. maybe its just your body geting used to the clomid.. i duno.. i never got them until i acually ovulated.. but always more after i Oed.. Heather.. i get sore nipples from the clomid.. but agian.. only after i O lol.. and my hot flashes are horrible.. the first round of clomid i took i had hot flashes.. but didnt ovulate that round.. but they got way worse my second round.. and this round.. and i oed last round and im guessing i did this round too.. the hot flashes are a real pain especialy when i baby sit my 3 neices and nefew.. my brother has his heat up to 78 degrees!!!!! its insane lol.. and im always hot specialy sence im packing a 1 year old around all day.. ne-ways.. today im feeling ok.. im acually geting cramps and my nipples have been sore for a few days.. so im guessing i did O lol.. hows everyone doing??.. talk to you later ladies!! baby dust!!!!

mother2b, that is great! i was so nervous when i didn't have symptoms but now after i see other people always sick i am thanking God i wasn't that way. i still pray everyday for everything to go good too :) it is less scary after the first trimester but i got a whole new set of worries now! i am nuts!
i am glad af came nicole! i think it is too early to feel the O pains too, i didn't feel them and only felt them the day before or day of O. and i didn't O until like 9 days after my last pill!
hey kaytee! good luck this month! that would be hard trying to take of all those kids with hot flashes i would just want to strip down!

I've been tracking my BBT for almost a month now, basically just to get into the habit of doing it but my temps are all over the place and I'm afraid that if and when I do O, I won't be able to tell because I've had so many different spikes I would'nt be able to distinguish the right time. Anyone else have this happen?

heather.. you dont peak untill after u O anyways.. and its normal for them to be a lil weired.. like be 97.3 then 97.5 then after u o it goes up to like 98.1 or what not.. ide say you should go buy "Taking charge of your fertility".. cause i thought that bbt would tell me when i Oed to.. but after i read that book.. i now know it dosent.. bbt is usually used to find out how long your lautual phase is.. and if your temp stays high for 18 days or longer.. then it can tell you your pregnant too.. but ide say get that book and read it.. i thought i knew so much about fertility..until i read that book.. ne-ways.. how is everyone???im doin ok.. im on cd27.. and my cycles sence ive been on clomid are usully around 35-38 days long so.. not much longer to wait i guess.. well talk to you all later

No my temps are more than a little weird. One day they are 98.1 next day 96.8 and then the next day 97.4 for two days and then back up again to 98 so I don't understand. The batteries aren't dead. But whatever, I'm not concerned thus far because i just finished my last clomid yesterday. So now I play the waiting game.

hi ladies! I posted a little while ago, but wanted to give an update... .i went to my new DR who confirmed PCOS, and started me on provera to get a cycle, then 50mg clomid 5-9 and 1000mg metformin. My boyfriend is out of the country for work and wont be home till June 1st, so there is no point in filling my scripts now... but I am so anxious about starting the clomid again after my m/c last Oct.
