can a POLYP delay menstruation?

hi -i was on fsh injections that were stopped due to a presumabile polyp that may have developed. i was to have a hysteroscopy done as soon as af arrived but i am 2 weeks late for af. around the time i was soppused to get AF the only thing i got was some brown discharge that morning and the morning after. iam wondering do plyps delay af ? or what is going on ? no---i have not taken a pregnancy test because i was on fsh injections in the past month due to lack of ovulation. - any suggestions ?

i dont think polyp delays af...r u taking progestrone supplements??even yesterday i found out i have polyp/fibroid...when did your doc told to go for hysterscopy? during periods??
Actually i am waiting for my nurse to call me as she will schedule my appointment ...DO u think u r preggo? Or call ur nurse &tell her...best wishes,keep in touch

THANKS AISH- i am ttc so i wish i was pregnant but i have these ovulation problems so i doubt it. my RE said that a hysteroscopy is done during the first 12 days of a womans cycle. my last af was november 3rd. and i am still waiting. honestly i would like to take a hpt. but i am scared because when i see the bfn it is like a wake up call saying----there is something bigger that is wroong and that is scary- after having loads of tests , a lap, plenty of injections, and now a maybe polyp -- etc.....i just cant deal with anymore bad news !!!!!!!!!!!!

ok pat....i had my last af dec 2 ...so i think when i will have my periods ,during my safe days they will do ...did u have lap also? they didnt find polp then?
well i wanted to have baby cant wait i know everyone in this board need that....
So u had ur last af on nov 3 ..u r very late ..i hope its a good news...call ur nurse or go for blood test...best wishes

yeah---i had a lap done on march 30. during the lap they also did the HSG and a hysteroscopy. tubes were clear and hysteroscopy was good . my re believes i may have developed this polyp (maybe polyp) due to the fsh injections. ---who knews........

oh ok ...so r u doing IUI or just the meds ...may be u got pg with those meds .....along with polyp..who knows as ur periods r delay by 2 weeks...

thanks aish. i think i will test in the next few days if af doesn't show. ----i was doing just the injections. but on my last cycle i was stopped on day11 because i had grown a cyst and they feared it was endo. then they performed something called a eccoflussometro transvaginal and that is when they "believed " that i may have developed a polyp due to a high does of fsh .. . and now i am just really late with af --- i usually have short cycles.
