Yeah...I am using OPK's....charting temps and looking for cm. Yet....My temps aren't very reliable because the day I was supposed to Ovulate and the two days after were pretty low. I thought that it was supposed to get higher after ovulating. Ålso, the past two months I haven't had the normal cm that I experience. I didn't see it at all this month. I wonder why. I usually get a pretty noticeable wetness. (sorry if graphic:)

Whynotme....
I can just see the other fireman at the firehouse teasing him LOL!!! They are already bugging him about a little firehouse baby as it is! We have decided that next month we should bd every day he is home just to be safe. He works 24 hours and is off 48. It should be very close to bd'ing every other day. We are both 31 and are REALLY ready. Oh by the way....my sis in law just announced she is preggers a couple of days ago. AAaaargh!

don't you hate it when someone else you know gets preggers so easily when you are ttc! It stinks to holy heck!! Anyway. I tested w/ and OPK stick from my monior this am and got a high reading, which could be a good thing! It could mean that I am preggres and it is starting to pick up the horomones! I don't want to get too excited, but I am going to test again tomorrow to see if there is any change. Well, gotta go. Hubby wants to watch a movie. I'll check in tomorrow. Good night!

Firehouse baby, that's too cute! That would be so cute to decorate the nursery in firetrucks if you have a boy. I'm sure you have already thought about that. I think that your strategy for next cycle sounds great. Have long have you and dh been trying. (tammy) when are you do to take a p-test? Maybe you should break down and take one.

Tammy, Isn't the OPK stick the one for ovulation? Do you think it can tell if you are preg? If that is true, maybe I should - I have a pile of those strips sitting around. Today, is my 10dp IUI. I have 5 more days to wait around. Day before yesterday, I had very mild cramping for a while and then it was gone. Yesterday, I was so tired from walking for not more than a couple of yards and I had to sleep for 4 hours in the afternoon to recoup. Last nite, my temp had also dropped from 99.2 to 98.6. Then today morning, it is back up to 99.4 and my bbs are more sore than before. So I am thoroughly confused now.

can you tell me about the temp thing, is your temp normally higher if you are preg or lower? I never did that thing, I bought the therm and that book but never followed through, thanks Cheryl

Yes a firehouse baby would be awesome!!! I keep picturing a little one with daddy's big helmet on:) Hubby and I have been trying for 5 months. We've decided to get serious next month as before I wasn't really watching my ovulation. We were just having some fun! I am cd 18 right now and I think I o'd on the 11th or 12th which seems a bit early because my cycles run fromm 29 to 31 days. Does that seem early to any of you? <cspears> I just started charting my temp. It was raised during the LH surge...fell during the next two days....and steadily rose again. I don't know if that is what is supposed to happen or not. I thought it was supposed to stay raised from LH surge to the next AF. So I can't be of much help.
I am currently 6 or 7 days in the TWW. Time goes so slowly argh!

diem - It does seem like you are "o-ing" pretty early, but who am I to know. I "o" naturally on day 20 and my cycles are 30-31 days. So since I "o" so late in my cycle, I have a luteal phase defect, which is the time that you need to even support implantation. Now I am on clomid to hopefully make my luteal phase longer.

diem - July 19

Wynotme.... so as long leutal phase is good? I hope so. This could give me hope!!!!!

wantbaby - July 19

Cheryl, Here is a link which talks about the early signs. http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/PR/00102.html
I have not been charting my temps like they say (first thing in the morning etc.) but I know my temp is usually between 97.7 and 98.6. This is the first time that my temp has been as high as 99 and above. I have been consistently over 99 for the last week and half except for yesterday when it fell a little. So I am wondering. If I find any more info on this I will post it for you. Take care, Mary

whynotme - July 19

Yes a long luteal phase is good because it is where the body produces the hormones to support implantation. If you have a short luteal phase, then if the egg isn't all the way implanted it is interrupted by af. Atleast that's what I took from what I read. Of course it's in my own words, but you get the point, right? LOL.

Hi ladies. Well, I was up late last night w/ a sick kid. He threw up all over his crib, and then all over his changing table and one more time in the bathroom. Then after that he was fine, so I don't think it was the flu....I think if it was the flu, he would have been sick for longer that 2 hours. He slept through the night when he was done, and seemed fine this a.m. when he woke up, so who knows...It was so gross though! The joys of having little ones! Yeah, the OPK's are for ovulation and they can tell you when you are preggers too...Go to the sight peeonastick.com and it shows you on there......It detects the same horomoes as an hpt plus one more horomone. That is why the OPK can detect pregnancy, but a pregnancy test can't detect O...get it? I tested again this a.m. and the lines were almost the same color, which could be a good sign! I am going to break down and take a test tomorrow morning....I can't wait until Friday!

Thanks Tammy for the info. I am sorry to hear about your child. Hopefully he is faring much better now. Looks like something he had did not suit his tummy. After reading your post I checked with the opk, it came back negative :-(( I hope its because it was too early to detect anything. I have to wait till Monday for my blood test, I am getting real impatient now. This weekend will be the longest weekend in my life. Good luck to all you women out there!

Tammy276 - July 20

Well ladies, I was impatient as well and took my hpt tonight and guess what? BFP!!!! Holy Crap! It was really faint, and I wasn't sure if I could it, since how it was a dollar tree cheapy, so I went out and bought a digital ( i am so impatient) and within a minute, it showed me PREGNANT!!! yeah, I did a little happy dance in the bathroom. Then since how it is our anniversary today, I took it downstairs and said "Happy Anniversary honey," and he didn't believe me!! He's like whatever, you just saw your sister, its your sisters......yeah, I like carrying around my sisters pregnancy tests dumbass!!! He won't believe me until I get a blood test done, so I am going to go in tomorrow for that just to confirm it, and I am going to ask them what my hcg levels are at.....I am so scared that because I tested early (I'm not due for AF until like mon. or tues.), that I am going to m/c when Af is supposed to be here. As soon as I saw that PREGNANT, my cramps got worse, probably just my nerves, but I'm really scared.....Hopefully my levels will come back high and that will ease my mind a little bit!! I hope my baby dust gets passed onto all of you so you all can get BFP's this month too!!
