Jaycee, I am very sorry to hear about AF. I know you must be upset, but now you get a fresh start. I know I cry for a while when AF shows up because I just feel like all hope is gone, but then later I start looking forward to a new cycle where I know a little bit more about my body and TTC. You should start charting this cycle, it couldn't hurt?
Babyloves2play, your temps sound pretty good this time. Mine are starting to go down a little, 98.3, but two seconds later it was 98.0 (Yes, I screwed up and did it twice again - brings nothing but troubles.) and with some familiar cramps I expect AF to show up within a few days.
Even if I know its coming, I will still get totally depressed.
It must be frustrating that you are now "back" to where you started with this thread (with the new ovulation date), but at least you still have hope. I wouldn't let the BFN get me down, it was still way too early. But I understand your impatience.
I was thinking about trying some OPKs too, if AF doesn't show up tomorrow. But how does it work when it comes to pregnancy?
Well, I've got to go, but I wish you all luck on your wait and on your fresh cycle, Jaycee.

Nikki, don't give up yet. AF hasn't arrived so you aren't out on this cycle yet. OPK's can work because Lh and HcG are almost identical. HcG just has a little something extra that makes it unique. Since an opk detects Lh it can also detect HcG but don't use it as a definite predictor of pregnancy. I did an opk last night (at 7 dpo) and didn't get a line. This morning I did one (with first morning pee) and got a line (still too early to use hpt). Although I still plan on doing hpt in the morning. Generally, Lh is abundant in pee in the afternoon and evening and hcg is found in larger quantities in morning pee. See where I'm going with this?? OPK's can be fun to use. I have POAS fever now at 8 dpo!! :-) A few cool websites that compares opk's & hpt's and has great info are:

Morning girls, how is everyone today?? My temp went back up this morning. Went from 98.40 to 98.64. My temp is like a roller coaster. I did another opk this morning (4am) and it was a little darker but my hpt was negative. I plan on testing again on Saturday (11 dpo). ~*~*BABYDUST*~*~ to ALL!!!

Hi everyone! babyloves2play,oh i am having very positive feelings
for your BFP..having a positive opk sounds great..hope you get a
positive HPT soon.Nikki, i got quite stressed out this cycle, I am planning to take things bit easy for this cycle..I do not want to add stress of charting now..maybe next time..hopefully i don't have to:)
Opks worked for me this cycle so i plan to stick to them for now. I ordered some more yesterday night. DH and I are planning for a weekend getaway at end of month which will be coinicidentally around my ovulation day so guess should be double fun.cd3 for me today, waiting for AF to leave..Babydust for all~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Babyloves2play, your OPKs sound promising! I really hope you get a BFP, but don't let it get you down if you don't get it this early.
Jaycee, I understand how you feel about the stress and taking it easy sounds like the best solution. I wish I could calm down a little myself.
I'm 15 DPO and still no AF, but my temp went down to 97.9 this morning. Yesterday's was a little lower too, so I guess AF will be here soon.

Hey Girls!!! Sorry to hear about the temp drop Nikki. I'm 10 dpo today and my temp dropped down to my coverline (97.92). I'm hoping it is implantation but I won't know until tomorrow. I hope my temps go back up. I usully have a luteal phase of 14 days. I plan on testing again Sunday if af stays away. I'll check in later to see how everyone is.

Hey girls!! Thanks Jaycee. I'm really worried af will arrive now. I'm having watery cm which is just weird. I guess I won't know anything until I temp tomorrow. I know one thing though, my nips are really tender and I have been so emotional today. No cramps though. I keep hoping temp dip was implant but I don't know anymore.

Babyloves2play, I'll check in later and see how your testing goes. If your only 10 DPO it might just be random or implantational. I hope it is and that your temp is back up this morning and that you get your BFP soon!

Thanks Nikki, but I'm out too. Af arrived this morning. Temp went down to 97.75 so I am back to cd 1 but it feels so much better than cd 64. I plan on taking clomid this cycle 100 mg days 1-5 and if I don't get pregnant this month (ttc for 6 months now) I'm going back to the doctor for tests and a different kind of medicine.
I hope everyone keeps posting how they are doing. I enjoy chatting with you guys!

i am also waiting. i had my last period on 3/23/06 and o'd on 4/8/06 i think. maybe the 9th but anyway i couldn't take it any longer and tested today even though i knew it was too soon. af isn't due till the 19th. i was a little crampy two days ago but nothing now. though i don't think i have any pregnancy sypmtoms until morning sickness shows up. at least that is how it was with my first. but that was unplanned so i don't remember too much.

Hey Nikki and babyloves2play, so sorry to see that AF caught up with you both.I know its always such a big disappointment when AF shows up but hey, Cheer up, we can all do it this cycle..I hope you will keep writing..babyloves2play, your plan sounds good. Till now, I have not consulted the doctors, We will try for a couple of months on our own and then take medical advice if needed.My AF is leaving finally, it has been 6 days now so I am all set to go TTC:). Morning everyone!! Jaycee, I agree. I'm glad I get to start over fresh with a new cycle. I'm hoping for a "normal" cycle this time......no more than 31 to 33 days. I also plan on trying to eat healthier and exercising. This will be my second cycle on clomid 100 mg, except this time I'm taking it cd 1-5. I guess we will see what happens. ~*~*BABYDUST*~*~

Babyloves2play, I am so sorry to hear about the end of your cycle. But we are all starting fresh and hopefully we will have better luck on these cycles.
I think it sounds good with the clomid and I really hope you'll have a more normal cycle this time. These long cycles are so frustrating for so many reasons. This one was 47 days, my longest so far. But for me it was a relief, in a way, since I wasn't even sure I ovulated. At least this cycle I won't have to worry so much about that.
I called my doctor this morning and they can't see me until wednesday, which will be CD 6, and I guess that will be too late for them to run the tests and put me on clomid or anything.
Jaycee, how long are your cycles? If it's the average 28 day thing, you should be ovulating pretty soon? I am sending you tons of babydust and hope you get lucky this time! The same for you, Babyloves2play, although you still have some time.
Please let me know how everything turns out?
