Morning ladies. How is everyone? Lisa and Natasha, how awesome that you got to see the little ones and the heartbeat. I remember how excited I was before every u/s. Its great. Katt ((((hugs)))). A whopper of a problem you have on your hands, but John is your hubby and you will support him. At lease he admitted he has a problem. That's step number one. My husband is a recovering addict and the NA meetings were enough for him. For the first 2 years of our relationship he hardly ever touched alcohol. After that he started to drink socially. He wont touch the stuff unless we have company or are at a party somewhere. He says that I changed his life and he sees no reason to drink or do drugs. Maybe one on one counseling will be enough for him. It is said that he had such a horrible relationship with alcohol all his life. I truly hope that he will get well soon. Thanks for the advice. Hope AF stays away. Robyn I am so glad that Anthony is making friends. Not too much longer for you. I hope that this cycle will be a success. (((hugs))) Jamie good luck to you with the IUI. Keep us posted. Are you using the same donor or a different one? Kathy where are you in your cycle? Rhonda how are you feeling? How are the kids? Hellos to Kelley, Leslie, Christine, Christie, Lesya, Erin, Jo, Shauna, and anyone else I may have missed.

Hey girls, I'm back. My trip was wonderful - I miss my family so much. :( I'm doing okay. It's cd14. I had my u/s Monday and am supposed to do the hcg injection tonight. The RE said if my opk comes up + first that I can save the injection for next time, so I hope it comes up + today. KATT, I'm so glad John reached out for help - it's wonderful that he did it on his own. My grandfather was dragged to a treatment center when my grandmother told my dad and uncle to do it. My dad said it was the hardest thing he ever had to do - they had to physically force him to go. Anyway, even without wanting treatment, he never touched the stuff again, so there is hope for John. Well, I've got a major headache, so I'm going to go, but I've been think of all of you and hope everyone is well.

So if things aren't cleared up by the weekend I'll ask ya'all aboutit. It's work related. TANYA_ It's good your dh has the dicipline. I guess that is what John is seeking. One on One counseling got him off the coke before he met me so I am thinking yes. NICOLEM_ I totally spaced your trip - damn, sorry. RHONDA_ Funny you mention the spermcounts and alcohol as John said the same thing this evening. At least he's coming around. It's too bad I cannot get him in to see my doctor until July 10th. Well gals I gotta rest up. Yet another bid day tomorrow.

Hey Girls
well i got the trigger shot today. yay. i had 2 follies on the left that were 24. 4 on the right a 10, 13, 14, 15. so the doc was very pleased with it. especially since the dominant ones were on the left side this time since i had the tubal on the right side. so 9:00 Friday morning i will be having iui. it was so cool. they just recently got these comp screens put up in the u/s room to where you can look at it while they are doing it. it was awesome that is the first time that i have seen a follicle. they usually dont show them to me but it was cool. also they said that the sample arrived at their office today which i am glad cause that is one less thing that i will have to worry about. they said that if i get a + hpt that they definitely want me to come back to them for a while at least until they can see something in the uterus. they said that i had them worried with the tubal and that they didn't trust the docs around here after the way that they treated me before so until i find a doc closer that i like then they want me to keep coming to them if i get a + hpt. so that is cool. also he said that my lining looked great and that everything was looking as it should to be a success. he asked how i would like twins he said it was possible. i couldn't believe that i had 2 24's on the left side since my right side is the one that usually produces the big follies quick, but that is good. at least now i can relax a little bit now since they are on the left side and not the right. that's all with me. good luck to you all.~~~~LISA-So cool that you got to see your little beanie again. That must have been awesome. This is my 4th IUI. The first one didn't work. The second one I got pregnant but it was a tubal and we had to terminate. The third one didn't work, so maybe this one will be the one.
KATT-you sound like me. I have been driving around with no rear end grease in my pickup. DH's dad rode in the back of it at the lake and heard it making a growling noise so when we got home, DH's dad checked and sure enough no grease so DH put grease in it. Also about your eyes hurting from the PC. You may want to get you some sunglasses. I have read on the net where you can get sun glasses and wear them while you are on the PC and it helps with headaches and eyes hurting associated with using a PC all day. They probably dont have to be real dark..just enough to get some of the brightness that causes those symptoms.
MOMMY2JOSH-We are using the same donor. We just couldn't change since we did get pregnant by him once and DH said that he likes his baby pics cause they remind him of himself when he was little.
NICOLE-good luck and hope that you get that + so that you can save the injection.
RHONDA-thyroid messing up can cause you to lose weight like that. she should have that checked.

Good morning everybody. We got back from our trip to Idaho on Monday. What a car ride that is, it took 7 hours. 7 hours in the car with a 13 year old and a 5 month old is some fun! Joey actually did very well considering. He fussed a little, but I can't blame him, he wanted out of that carseat! Alex did fine until her Ipod froze...you would have thought the world was over (luckily it fixed itself by the next day). John's whole family came to dinner at his grandmother's house on Friday and they all got to see Joey for the first time. He also got to see his 10 month old cousins, which we all dubbed the triplets because Joey is almost as big as they are! He did great at the party, which had about 25+ people there and he just got passed around and around and was still in such a great mood. His aunt got to spend two days with him which I am so glad about as she looks very frail (cancer in her bones) and John had spent 3 months every summer with this family (he worked on the family farm every year) so they are very attached to him. Nobody thought John would have any kids so they are thrilled for us (John is 48 and this is a second marriage for him) and his sister never married and had any kids either. Suffice to say, Joey was a big hit this weekend. The worst thing about the weekend though was that we all got a horrible cold. Joey woke up one morning with his eye glued shut with junk,, yuck. Alex has it the worst, but I also got it and I can hardly take anything because the medication can come through in your breast milk and the pharmacist said it can cause sleeplessness in babies, and I certainly don't want that! He was up 4 to 5 times each night so I was exhausted by the time we came home. I'm heading out with my Mom here in a bit to go buy plants to finish my landscaping. I'm so excited! We did a lot of work here lately and its starting to pay off. Well, Joey is fussing I think he needs a nap. I will check back in later and read up about how everybody is doing. Love to you all.

Hey girls, well my opk wasn't quite + last night, so I did the trigger even though I knew it would come up + this am (it did). I probably didn't need to do it, but figured better safe than sorry. I had them give me a bigger needle this time so it wouldn't take so darn long to inject, so that part was better. We bd last night before the shot and will tonight and the next 2 nights. I think dh will be okay with it this month since two of the days will be Fri and Sat. He won't have to be stressed about work. Anyway, I am cd15 today, so we'll see. I'll let y'all know when my temp spikes. It dipped yesterday (to 96.7 - way low for me) and was still pretty low (97) today. I usually peak at 98.2 or so. Well, girls, I'm sorry I don't really know what all is going on with you since I was gone. KATT, so sorry about AF starting, but with John getting help for the drinking I feel really hopeful for you all since it can affect the swimmers. RHONDA, glad you're feeling better. JAMIE, GL!!! TANYA, how are you girl? So where is everyone?? ttyl...

NicoleM - May 31

Hey LESLIE, sounds like you had a wonderful visit! I hope your colds get better soon! :)

mommy2josh - May 31

Jamie, good luck tomorrow. Follies sound great. Katt hope your wrist is feeling better. Ever consider an ergonomic keyboard and wrsit pad for support? Carpal tunnel syndrome is not fun at all. Good luck. Sorry about spotting. (((Hugs))) We are on same cycle day no? What CD are you, cause I am lost. Robyn how are ya? Getting nervous I bet. Rhonda I cant believe Chloe is only getting her 1 tooth right now. What does her doctor say? Why such a delay? Hello to all. Be back after lunch.

slowpoke01 - May 31

LESLIE-sounds like things have been busy for you.
RHONDA-wow that is a long time to get a first tooth. i have never heard or seen a baby at 14 months just getting its first tooth. have you talked to your doc about it?
NICOLE-i was wondering the same thing. where is everyone? lol i think that they must be really busy like KATT i know is working on bid day right? or they are having a hard time navigating the new site.
MOMMY2JOSH-good luck to you.

Hello all,i have mentioned it to her dr about her not having any teeth, and her dr said it is fine, said all babies develope at different rates"which he must have forgotten i have 5 children'because he went on and on;.He said give it time and they would be popping through like crazy.Leslie i bet you are so glad to be back home.7 hrs is a long drive.NicoleM sorry your opk was not positive;.You will get one before you know it.Thanks for saying your glad im feeling better, you sweet.;.

mommy2josh - May 31

Leslie, welcome back. Sorry that you guys are sick. Hope you will feel better soon. I was wondering if this is your last baby or if you and John are planning on more?

mommy2josh - May 31

Sorry clicked by accident. Nicole welcome back missy. I am ok, same crap different day. Good luck. I hope this cycle is it for you. Have fun with dh this weekend. I am not sure if I o'd this month since my ovulation strips did not turn + (I was using the Answer brand strips, 20 in a box 2x a day), so I didnt bother with sex, only for fun. Looks like another month down the drain. Whatever, I dont even care anymore. Katt, by the way, thanks for forwarding a pic of Denise's baby. He is gorgeous. Ok, going back to work. Love yas.
