Ladies, thanks for the advise.But let me explain my story.I have been for laparoscopy on Nov 11 to have ovarian drilling.doc noticed severe endometriosis which he removed.by a week later i was healed and then my dh and i started bd (i know it was soon).i do have the saliva ovulation test kit but it does not show what i am looking for. hopefully i am reading the results correctly.My question is when will I get AF.Or does ovulation occur any time after an op like this?Its been almost 3 weeks since the op, I am anxious to know when af will arrive.Does anyone out there had a lap and can tell me when af will arrive?

do you remember the last time you had one??
I have had several and i always bled afterward ( i don't know if you did) but it was always on time (from the first day of my last one)

Hi, to for EB.I am not sure what you are saying or asking.But I hope this helps.The last time I had a period was on October 16 ( which I only got because doctor gave med to get it).I did bleed after the op for a few days.It was not much anyway, i wouldnt even call it blood,it looked more like that brown stuff. So when can I expect another period, how do I calculate it.When did you have a lap done and when did you get your next period.I need to know so that if i dont get it within that time span, I can go back to my gynae.I am so scared that there could be more complications?I so badly want to fall pregnant and not knowing whats going with my body doesnt help at all.Do you know if ovulation occurred or could occur.
Sorry, if I am going on about myself.Are you also trying to get pregnant?

My last lap. was in Feb of 04. I got my next peroid about 31 days after my sergery. With all that messing around there it takes some time for your body to get back into the rythem of things if it does not start within a week or a week and a half I'd go back, even just to be sure everything is going normal But i would not worry about it, sometimes you will skip after a lap on the sheer fact that it was a surgery. and yes i am trying to have a baby.

Eb, you had a question of when you ovulate are you on clomid? I'm on it and had a lap and dc hysterscopy on 9-20 and ovulated late at exactly 17 days. But I bought a opk and took them everyday for week, had my last af on 11-09. started clomid on 11-13 stop it on 11-17. and ovualted on 11-25. started opk on 11-20 everyday and did not see anything and that friday 11-25 I noticed that cm was like egg whites and it was 11pm and I took a opk and sure enough to dark lines!! now I wait to see if af comes on 12-10 praying it doesn't and I concevied. good luck*** baby dust

To for EB. Thanks for that quick response.So I should wait atleast 2 more weeks for period.If I dont get it , i will definitely go back to check myself.Do you think we should even try to conceive in the mean time?I heard some women did conceive after surgery.
Why havent you had any luck falling pregnant so far? Is there any complications? if you dont mind me asking?Whats your name by the way or your initials, something other than For EB.Id love to hear your story.

well EB as you can see my name is Kristi lol I had endo and in my experence my doc told me as long as your comfy after surgery you can try, but not to push, any sign of pain means body is not ready. No physical things to stop me from being pg just not the right time yet. I have heard the story of the surgery/pregnant thing as well..prolly because they are not thinking about trying so to speak, and sometimes pain meds are involved and your relaxed. you can still o anytime so I say If your up to it and feel good and no pain there is nothing wrong with you ttc. ~baby dust~ to u and all

Hi EB, I had my lap the same day you did, I spotted last Fri and Sat and Sunday started full flow and I am still bleeding. I was told that it would take a month or 2 for my AF to be normal but it appears so far to be a normal cycle as far as days go, Only bad part is the extreme pain, which RE said is normal because I am still healing. He said wait a month before ttc again. Also gave me 50mg of clomid to take for ovulation, good luck to you and to all,

Hi ladies,hope you are all doing fine.Stacey, I am very happy that af has arrived the normal way.Your chances of falling pregnant are looking good.Good luck to you.I must admit that I am now scared that I wont get af.But I guess every women's body is different.I am giving myself 2 more weeks.Anyway hows things with you ladies.Kristi, whats the status with you?By the way , where are you ladies from.

I am from Ohio. snowing like crazy outside. I hope you get your AF and I hope that you are feeling better. I wish you luck, hang in there and stay positive, I know it is hard, I have had a bad month, crying all the time and just overall sadness. This really sucks, I know how you all feel. I hope next yr is better than this one, 05 was not easy.

kc- How are you feeling?? hope things are going well, hang in there. My af is almost over and I will be once again on the road to ttc. I bought a 7 day ovualtion kit thought I might give it a try. So freakin expensive!!! Who knows if and when I will be ov this month. well take care kc, hope all is well

Hi ladies.Hope you are doing well and enjoyed the weekend.I called my doc on Friday explaining to him that I am freaking out.He says if nothing happens in the next 2 weeks , I will need to visit him and he will give some medication.So much for being pregnant for Christmas.I am from South Africa and its very hot here.Anyway keep me posted and good luck to all.

Hi there i hope this helps you all who are wondering?

I have been trying for a baby for 3 years and in march had a laparoscopy that they discovered i had endometriosis so they lasered it away in march and i have just foud out i am 6 weeks pregnant. I never thought i would get pregnant this quick as they told me i only have 1 workable tube and looks like i may need IVF. so everybody keep your chins up and my fingers are crossed for you as this does prove it can happen very quickly.
