Hi there i hope this helps you all who are wondering?

I have been trying for a baby for 3 years and in march had a laparoscopy that they discovered i had endometriosis so they lasered it away in march and i have just foud out i am 6 weeks pregnant. I never thought i would get pregnant this quick as they told me i only have 1 workable tube and looks like i may need IVF. so everybody keep your chins up and my fingers are crossed for you as this does prove it can happen very quickly. Good luck to all and keep me informed of all your progress x x

Thank God for the laporoscopy!!! I tried for 5 years for pg! (at 15 w/ live in boyfriend/we got married at 17) I had pains / irregular periods...Finally had lap done and they popped and drained some cyst's and cleared out my tubes. The doc said after my Lap it would be so easy to get pg! I never even got to have a period. first ovulation I got Pg! I have a 5 & 3yr old! The second baby took 2 cycles and boom pg! - I am now trying for #3 and have had 2 m/c and I went one 1 3mth cycle of bc pill to let my body and several weeks off of it still no AF:( - Doc said yesterday that I have a cystic hemmorage ....I think my pcos are acting up...but my tubes still seem to be clear! If that is all your problem is I would start getting excited cause I have to other friends who also got PG immedatly following their LAP! Good luck!! Sticky baby dust!!

Been ttc for 2 years. Just had a lap 2 days ago. Doctor tried to unblock tubes from complications of appendisectomy I had as a teenager. I'm glad to hear all the success stories cos I really pray2 conceive asap

I just had a lap on Tuesday and I guess the endo was pretty severe; my RE said we'll most likely need to "pull out the big guns", aka IVF. But after reading this thread my hope is renewed. We don't go to the post op for another week and a half and I may ovulate by then (lap was on CD2) so we've been debating whether or not to TTC this cycle. Who knows maybe it could happen naturally.

Hi ladies, I am scheduled to have a laproscopy on the 14th of august b/c of scar tissue. I have ttc for a year now, no luck. My obgyn did a hysterosalpingogram and said my fallopian tubes are open, but I had what appeared to be a polyp on my left wall. I then had a hyserocopy to remove the polup, but it turned out to be scar tissue
and my obgyn coul not remove it because my uterus is extremely retroverted and he did not have the right tools to remove it. About 2 weeks later I went to an infertility dr who told me I neeed to have a lap done. On another note, my husband had a sperm analysis done and had only 1% normal. So he is getting re checked next week and that is were I am today.

I had an emergency lap done on Wed of this week. I had taken a shot of Methotrexate on Monday to dissolve an ectopic pregnancy. And by Wed morning I was in alot of pain and had to have emergency lap to remove the pregnancy. I now have to wait three months to get pregnant due to the fact that I had the shot done on Monday. Has anyone had any luck in getting pregnant right after something like this?

I had my second laprascopy in June of '08 where they removed a cyct on my ovaries and detached an ovary from my side wall and also removed severe endometriosis. They also had to detache my uterus from my bowels. It's been 2 months and I still haven't conceived but the doctor seems really really hopeful which I hope is a good sign. We have been ttc for almost 3 years (it will be 3 years in Sept.) It's good to hear so many success stories and I hope and pray that I can be one of them, also to all of you, baby dust *********. I had really irregular periods the first 2 cycles after my laproscapy. The first one was a week and a half early, and the second one was a week early. The one after that was normal...so I've had 3 periods in the last 2 months :( And even though they are still painful and heavy, they are way shorter, which I also hope is a good thing!! I just thought I would say my story and good luck to you all!!! JS

I have an 11 yr old. We've been ttc for 2 yrs. I had a lap in August to try and determine the cause. Everything was great. I am considered an unexplained infertility case. Very frustrating. I have the OV watch and will see if this works. I am 7 yrs older than my husband and I have been through all the testing HSP, etc. Now they have decided to test him. Let's see how that goes. Good luck to all.

I had a laparoscopy surgery on my right fallopian tube. I had the tube removed and i have both my ovaries. I had my son in march of 2002 an i have been trying to get pregnant again. Im on clomid now an i finshed my last pill on nov 13. Im just wondering if the clomid will help me pregnant this time. anybody else been through this?

HeidiHaar - November 18

I've registered on alot of (conceiving sites) and seen more than once that Clomid is not the way to go. Using Clomid can lead to Cervical Cancer. Weather that's true im not to sure. I've started to use Folic Acid as well as Fertile Aid for myself and my husband hopefully that will work and Im going for my 1st laparoscopy Thursday 27 Nov 08, been trying to conceive for over a year. I pray that this wil help.
