Hi all....I am really trying here...as you know...been sex sex sex...but I really think today is THE day....real crampy...temp is looking good...PROBLEM.....we are currently building a house(to add to the stress)...my husband is building it..he is busy busy busy....esp on the weekends......tells me he will be working late into the night tonight as we need to get in....currently living in a camper beside our new home...it gets cold here in Maine, and we NEED to get in, so I understand the pressure he feels...BUT........we NEED to bd today, tonight, sometime in the next 24 hrs....and it doesn't seem to be a priority for him today.....which is killing me.....I know he is stressed with lots of things, me too...BUT....what can I do to get him in the mood for 5 minutes of passion(sounds awful, but we have been ttc long time now).....my tube is telling me this is the day.....advice please....I am comin' unglued here....thanks

gosh - I know this advice might be late but try parading around in something sexy???? call him on cell if you can and try to get him that way...sexy talk... 2 months again hubby told me it was too much pressure when I told him days we had to BD so I randomly scedule BD days and make sure it falls during that time.

hi all, Isnt it terrible that we have to schedule sex. whatever happened to impulse. Good luck xx

mrs. turnah - October 17

...YES...the scheduling does bite! I have had the necessary sex at the necessary times this month...I am not in the waiting period(hate that word)...trying not to drive myself crazy with every little thing I could be feeling....jeez...I am so glad you are all here....this really helps me...I love the humor...keep that comin'....keep posting....and let me know where you are at??? What cd are we all on now?

mrs. turnah - October 17

...oops....meant to say"now" in the waiting period....not "not".....typing to fast...sorry ladies...wait....could that be a sign of pregnancy? ...ugh

I went in to get some blood work to make sure my pregnancy hormone was decreasing...well, it started increasing and they did emergency surgery to remove the "embryo" from my right tube. There was no damage from the surgery and I am recovering well. My surgery was on thursday and yesterday I think I started my period..It is time for it anyways...I am just curious...how long did it take any of you to get pregnant after a tubal??

trying in NC - October 18

Susan - I am sorry to hear about your ectopic and surgery to remove. I can relate but mine was too far along and they could not save my tube. Did you have laparscopic surgery? If so, the bleeding is not your period, it is from the surgery. At your post op visit, ask questions and request a blood beta test to make sure you levels are returning to normal. Even though they took my tibe, I requested it just to be safe. All my doctors (general physician, ob and fertility doctor said you should wait 2 months before trying again to let everything heal. mrs. turnah - I am glad you had all the needed sex this month...don't thin of it as a 2 week waiting period, think of it as a 2 week rest period...how much farther does your house building have to be before you can get in? Sandra - I agree with scheduling sucks. It has been kind of nice not to worry about the right time and we just have sex to enjoy each other. Best of luck to you all....keep us posted mrs turnah.

mrs. turnah - October 18

...hey....Sandra....my tube was removed last Sept. and I haven't been pregnant since....I agree with NC, have a beta done, just to check everything...as with NC, my preg was to far along to save my tube, I was 12 weeks, and the tube ruptured, very painful, in all aspects...I am glad for you having both tubes, that is always a plus....hubby says we should be in our new home this weekend, unfinished, but liveable, anything is better than the camper, very cold...and camper sex is not the best....I am trying not to think of the "wait" but it drives me crazy, some days....some I am just so busy I don't have time to think about it, which is good....I just can't wait to hear when the good news comes from you gals....I just know it will....I find myself wondering and worrying about whether or not this is your month...I can't express thanks enough to you how being able to vent with you helps....my moods are much better lately, I don't feel so alone....talk to you again soon....keep posting...and Sandra...give it a couple of cycles, don't rush...make sure you are your old self again...then jump in guns loaded and let 'er rip...

trying in NC - October 18

mrs. turnah - glad to hear you will be in by this weekend....liveable is good and finished will be great...it is nice to vent and chat with girls in the same boat...i am also posting on the follistim site since we have been using that prior to my surgery....there are 3 girls in there on their 2ww.....be glad you all still function with and without tubes...I do not ovulate on my own so was told glucophage would help in this and also taking fertility drugs...I think in December I want to try it all natural but scared if this is the month for my left side I will be wasting it....how on earth do they know which side is which now? Relax and enjoy this time and good luck this weekend getting into you house.

hi ladies. I was wondering how accurate these opk tests are! I managed to have two boys with only one tube without even trying so I have never used the kits til now. I just had my first period since june and I am having pains like ovulation pain in my right side. That was the side the tube and ovary was removed from so can I still be ovulating with pain in that area? The tests are showing negative -any ideas?

Kristie - October 19

Sandra, I had my left ovary and tube removed about 4 years ago and was having pain on that side quite a bit and after a laparoscopy a few years ago I was told it was pain from scar tissue growing. The right ovary that I do have left hurt me every month during ovulation. I think of all of you all of the time b/c I was in your position for 10+ so know that if it (getting pregnant) happened to me that it can happen to anyone of you!!!!

mrs. turnah - October 19

Thanks Kristie for the hope..I NEED to hear things like that....Sandra, I was never sure of the OPKs when I tried them...I gave up on them.....I have only the left tube, no right...and I experience pain on both sides...so I never know....I think I feel more on my right than my left, then I wonder how that can be...did I have only one good side? ..and they took that one out???? Kristie gives me hope...have you tried seeing the doc when you are having this pain?
