elyse what do you mean about the level over 5 being normal for ovulation?

Nata - January 23

Ann and Elyse, I'm so sorry to hear about your moms. All these stories just show how strong both of you are. Ann, how long have you been married (if you don't mind to answer)? At least you have stories/experience with kids/babies. I have never lived with one! My friend has a one-year-and-a-half baby but she doesn't trust anybody. I can barely hold the baby in my arms because she doesn't let. Ann, you said your af hasn't shown up yet and it's never late. Do you think you could be pregnant? I know you had a bfn but... I don't know. Have you taken another test?

lene - January 23

ok, nurse said the progesterone level is greater then 40! now, i asked the nurse if that means that i may be pregnant and she said it is a good sign and means that your environment is healthy for a baby but doesn't mean it has to happen. elyse, what was your level last time?

Elyse - January 23

Lene, the office calls after each visit and gives me information and instructions (during the 1st 2w of the cycle - take the shots, increase the shots, come in for scan, etc.) They always tell me what they are testing for and then call with the results and give me the exact numbers and tell me if it is good, bad or questionable. I am VERY lucky to have the docs I have. As for a level of 5, the article was just stating that a progesterone level of 5 indicates that your body did ovulate. They use the prog level( and a couple other levels) to test for ovulation in women who are having o issues.

Lene - 40 is AWESOME! I can't even believe it. That is so wonderful. What baby wouldn't want to be in there? I have no idea what my level was last time. Have you been taking the prog supp 2 times every day? Did you miss any?

lene - January 23

elyse, thanks! well, still doesn't mean jack!

lene - January 23

elyse, haven't missed any progesterone , actually like an idiot i started an entire day early so that could be why it is so high!

Elyse - January 23

Lene, it does mean something - please don't be negative - only positive thoughts and positive hpt!

lene - January 23

fyi ladies, i have cramping today...very mild but nonetheless...they are cramps. does that mean something positive?

lene - January 23

elyse, i know, i'm tryin' just rather think negative to be happily surprised then think positive and be negatively surprised.

Elyse - January 23

I know - it's hard to know the right way to think sometimes. When I was pregnant the 1st time - I had cramps quite often for the 1st 3 months, right from the beginning. I also bled a little - no biggie.

Hi Nata. I don't mind your asking at all. Dh and I have only been married for 2 years and 4 months, but we have been together for 6 years and 8 months. I know NOTHING about kids, especially babies (I am the youngest child). My stepson had just turned 8 when we got married (and started living together), and like I said, my dh is the one that does the home stuff and he does almost all the kid stuff, too. I want to buy that book What to Expect When You Are Expecting, but I won't let myself just in case I never get pg. How long have you and your dh been together?

Ann - January 23

Nata, would that be possible that I could be pg even after a blood test at the dr says I am not??? I thought that was a for-sure thing. Maybe I should buy another test to make sure, but I feel like af is coming at any moment (but I have felt like this since last Wednesday).
