Hi ladies, Wow Kerri, we're all waiting with baited breath to hear of the birth of your baby girl! I can't believe how big she is already..might be a good thing you're having a C section, huh? May God bless you with a safe delivery. I know you're going to be BUSY when baby comes, but please let us know how it goes. Ann, I'm so glad that you're taking the approach you are. I know I've never met you, but I think you're just terrific and EVERYthing you say makes such great sense to me. :) It's wonderful and such a gift to your baby for you to recognize that you're not supermom. All your baby wants is HER mom, and we all think she's just terrific. :) Keep up the great work and the great attitude! I think I'm cd12 today and will likely just bd with dh either tomorrow or Sunday. I did notice some ewcm, but I'm not peeing on sticks or anything else. Aside from ttc-ing around fertile time, we're basically taking a break this cycle. I'm feeling better not being SO focused on ttc - we'll see how long it lasts. Of course I caught a COLD which makes me mad. I know I caught it from being on the plane (with all the recirculated air) ...grrr..I hate to be sick. Oh well, it'll force me to get some rest this weekend maybe. Nans, I know you're frustrated to see a LOW, but I've heard of a few women who've said that the month they got pg, they O-ed a bit late. Maybe that'll be the case for you! I really hope so - you've been SO patient, I hope we'll hear soon about a bfp from you! Well, take care everyone.. Kerri, all the best to you and dh ..and of course to baby Kalyn! :)

Hello everyone...Kalyn and I are doing well, just got released from the hospital today. She was born on May 25th at 12:43PM and she was 8lbs, 7oz and 20.75 inches long and absolutely gorgeous! C-section recovery rather rough, but worth everything! I can't stop gazing at her--but tonight is the first night home, so no nursery to watch her if I want a shower or some extra sleep--but my mother is here for another week. There are some pictures on her website, and I'm sure we'll update soon. Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts and I'll write more later as my dh needs the computer to catch up on the school work he missed out on. Her nursery pictures are posted at www.growingfamily.com and then go to "visit web nursery", select May 25, 2006, mom's last name is Dakin, and State is TX. She's so adorable and I can't for ALL of us to be mothers!!!!

Hey Kerri, That's so wonderful that you're all doing well. I'm sure Kalyn is just precious. I went to the website you mentioned, but Kalyn's section is password protected. Anyway, just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS to you & dh..enjoy your sweet baby and best of luck adjusting to motherhood. Don't forget what I said to Ann, no one expects you to be supermom, just do the best you can, make mistakes, cry if you need to, and don't be afraid to ask for help. Take care!

Kerri_md - May 30

Try password of Dakin---sorry I didn't go to the website first I was just reading the step by step directions given to me at the hospital

HI Kerri Congratulations...i'm so happy for Kaylyn's arrival. I know you are so happy that finally she's here. I know you will be more busy adjusting to motherhood but like what Natasha V said just do what you think is best for you and the baby. Of course it's ok to make mistake coz your new to motherhood. I just saw Kaylyn's picture in the website and she is so adorable, cute and really an angel from heaven. We'll i know that you and Ann are enjoying the best times of your life. I hope Natasha V and I will experience the same thing. Kc how are you, so you are next..when is your baby due? Hope you are having a wonderful time with your pregnancy. Clara how things are going with you? I'm on my 2WW and just want to stay positve that i have good chances this month. Talk to ya all later...

Hello. Kerri, congratulations!!!!! How beautiful your baby girl looks. What a neat idea with the outfit and rose. She is truly an angelic little person. I hope your recovery is going well. I know c-sections can be rough, but I'm sure you are feeling like it is all worth it. Remember to take it easy. You need time to heal too. I would follow Natasha and Nans advice. They are two smart ladies. Natasha and Nans thank you for your comments to me about motherhood. You both always make me feel much more confident about myself. So Nans, you think this was a good month?? I hope your two week wait goes by very quickly and with positive results. Natasha, how are you feeling this month? Are you on your 2ww or do you know because you are not tracking this month? Even when my dh and I didn't try, I still payed attention to my cm and other signs. I really just drove myself crazy! Natasha and Nans, I wish you a non-stressful wait and very happy results. Kerri, I know the days and nights right now seem long. But remember that the months and years are short. Cherish every minute with your new gift. Even at 3:00a.m.(which is when Delaney usually decides that she would like to be played with for an hour or two) I try to savor all the moments, coos and smiles. Good luck. If you need anything or want to talk we're all here. I'll talk with you all soon!

Hi all, Kerri I went to see Kalyn's pic again. What a sweetie! All that hair and that dress is adorable. I'm sure that you're enjoying your time with her and maybe even wondering how she got here? I know I would be. :) Hopefully she's letting you get some rest. Like Ann says, the nights are going to seem long at times, but just remember this phase isn't going to last forever (in the good way and the hard way :)). In a year or two, she'll be SO different..enjoy your time with her. Ann, hope you're getting some sleep these days. I know that it's a really happy time when a new baby arrives, but I'm old enough to have seen LOTS of babies born, and I know it can be quite hard on you and dh. Just remember to take care of yourselves ladies, don't worry about the baby advice you get from others. Do your thing and enjoy! Sorry, don't mean to get preachy, I just know that we women put a lot of pressure on ourselves, and I'm telling you both what I know I'd like to be reminded of if I were in your shoes. :) I believe I'm CD 19 today. We only bd-ed once and it was quite a ways before O (like 2 days prior, I think. I actually don't even know if I O-ed. I always have before but maybe being off Clomid made my body NOT O? The reason I wonder about it is because I didn't feel the O pains I always get. Oh well, I don't expect to be pg this month and that's okay. I'm going to see how I feel by the end of this cycle. I may or may not be ready to do another round or two of Clomid. nans, how are you doing? Which herbs were you taking this cycle? The only thing different that I took was Robitussin. Funny..I didn't take it for ttc, but because I was sick! Clara & kc, should you ever check our post, please drop us a line. Take care everyone!

Kerri_md - June 2

this message will probably be short---it's one of those 3am feedings and i'm typing one handed. Nat. V.--thanks for the kind words about Kalyn, not sure where all the hair comes from. You always O, with or without, Clomid...maybe a diferent feeling at O time is a good thing. How long will your doctor let you use Clomid, and at what dosage? Nans, I pray that timing was good this month and that the Lord blesses your womb with another baby soon! Ann, you hanging in there? I wouldn't be surviving if it wasn't for my mother this week--I'm still on pain med. and recovering---I do the majority of the caring for Kalyn--but my mother cleans the house, does laundry and cooks a home cooked meal everyday--she's spoiling us! She will have to leave on Sunday, by then I'll be off the meds and we'll see what parenting is REALLY like. I had some flowers sent to her work to greet her on Monday morning. ANywyas, back to breast feeding :)

hi all! how's everyone? how was your weekend? i had a very nice weekend. DH and i went out watched movie and had our dinner. I'm CD22 today and really don't know what to expect. Natasha how about you? how was your 2WW?Do you mean you stop taking clomid this cycle and not doing anything special? BTW The herbs that i'm taking was recommended by a friend also here in the forum last year. I tried it last year and get pg after 5 months and now my taking it again. I really don't know what makes me fall pregnant the 1st time. I was taking the herbs then plus EPO and vitamin B6...now the herbalist ask me to take the herbs again together with vitamin E...so for this cycle i started the herbs and the vitamin E then i'm also taking folic acid. My friend now has 2 wonderful boy with the help of the herbs that's why he recommends it to me. So let's see if it will work for me this time. Kerri and Ann how are the new moms doing? I hope you are having enough sleeps and rest now that the baby is here...Kerri how are you now that your mom is not there to help you with the chores? I know it's gonna be difficult for the first few days but you'll get over it. Kc and Clara we miss you ladies...where are you? Hope that everything is fine with both of you. Natasha V continue to hold on and hope that we are pg this cycle. Keep you all posted. Talk to you all later. Have a nice week ahead of you. Bye..

Hi ladies..how's everyone? I'm about 4 days away from af, I think. Since we didn't really 'try' this month, I'm sure af is coming. I have to decide now if I'm going to start clomid again (when af starts) or not. If so, my doc wants me to take it on days 1-5 (the girl I know who took it those days got pg on the 2nd round). I kind of liked taking a break physically and mentally, but with high-ish fsh and my age, I shouldn't waste too much time. I guess I'll see how I feel when af shows...I picked up my prescription for the clomid, so I have it, if I feel like I want to take it this month. How are those new babies Kerri and Ann? Please tell us all the wonderful and the rotten parts of motherhood! :) I just saw a pic of the Brangelina baby..she's sweet, has her mom's big lips. :) Nans my dear, how are you? Are you about 4-5 days away from knowing if you're pg this month? I really hope those herbs etc. worked for you!!! Noticing any symptoms or anything? Please keep us posted. Wishing a bfp for you NANS! Talk to you all soon!

nans_n - June 9

Hi all! how's everybody? Ann and Kerri how's the new moms...i hope you and your babies are doing great. I know motherhood is a very demanding but rewarding job. Just enjoy your babies. Natasha V i'm CD 26 today and no pg symptoms or whatever. My breast really hurt so bad which always a sign that AF is coming. I'm also counting of days to know if im pg or not.I'm just continuing to pray and ask God's answer to our prayers. So hang in there. Kc and Clara hope you are having a wonderful day. Have a nice weekend ladies. Keep Natasha and I in your prayers.

Good morning...or at least I think it's morning. Getting all of my days and nights confused at this stage. Kalyn and I are doing pretty good. She's really only had one off day, the day she turned 2 weeks old--she screamed and screamed and screamed and nothing could calm her down..I bet she only slept about 4 hours that whole day---I was going to call the doctor the next day if she was still so upset, but then she was back to her sweet self. I think that she's hitting a growth spurt because she's wanting to feed all of the time. Feeding is special bonding time and I love the cute faces she makes, but like Nans said...it's exhuasting, but rewarding! It's tough with my DH being a full time medical student b/c we're both beat by the end of the day, thank God this is the first grandchild and my mother is willing to take some days off and drive up and help me out...but even Grandma is getting shut eye whenever possible. I need to start taking some pictures with her now that I'm feeling much better after the c-section. How are you doing Ann? Hopefully AF won't show up for either one of you this month. I'm still amazed how close your cycles have been, praying that y'all will get BFP together this month. NatashaV, how many cycles of Clomid does your doctor let you use? Nans, is your DH taking herbs or vitamins too? Well I better sign off while baby girl is sleeping so I can get some rest too.

NatashaV - June 10

Hi Kerri, nice to hear from you! I've seen what it's like at home with a newborn (BUSY!) so I'm impressed you found a moment to catch us up. :) Great to hear things are going well with baby Kalyn. When dh and I babysat our newborn niece we had both worked a full day that day (this was evening) and as she cried and fussed we got more and more snappish with each other! :) It's bound to be difficult at times with the tiredness you're both feeling, but just remember to try not to let the little stuff get to you, and to not take dh's grumpiness personally. Keep up the good work Kerri & Ann! Nans, you should only be a couple of days from knowing if you're pg or not..best of luck! I hadn't temped or anything at all this cycle, but I checked it this morning and it's low. Af will show today or tomorrow (cd28-cd29). I spent a while this morning just thinking by myself about whether or not I want to do the Clomid again this cycle. I think I decided that I'm not going to. I know that my age is a factor etc., but I'm not sure the clomid is working for us anyway, and I really don't like being on it. One more month of peace isn't going to make the difference I don't think. Dh and I have been able to go for dinner and have wine, talk about holidays we can take and items we can buy (bought a 50" tv!:)) since we don't have a baby (we had budgeted to spend lots of money around now on baby stuff, so now we have extra $). It's been nice to just not be so focused on ttc..of course I'm still upset that I'm not pg, but it's a 'normal' sadness, not depression! I'm considering trying acupuncture finally. I've wondered about it trying it for infertility for years now (literally!) and I'm thinking that might be a good natural alternative to Clomid. I'll talk to dh about it and we'll see. Of course I could totally change my mind and next you hear from me, I could be saying "well, I started the clomid today!" :) It's like that with ttc, you never know how you're going to feel from one day to the next. Anyway, hope you're all well and NANS we'd all love to hear about a bfp for you this cycle..keep the faith!

nans_n - June 10

Hi Kerri, nice to hear that Kaylyn is doing fine. Sometimes babies are really fussy and goofy but i think that's normal...Good that your mom is always there to help you with baby Kaylyn so you can have some rest. Natasha V i know how you feel right now. If you decided not to take clomid this cycle and give yourself a little rest then just do what your heart desires. For me really have no idea right now I'm CD27 and still hoping that i'm pg this cycle. I did not take my temp so i have no clue. I just continue to pray. I'm still taking the herbs and vitamin E and DH is taking Vitamin C and Zinc. Keep you all posted.
