Hi, Ann it's nice to hear that everything is still going along fine. From now on, when I see your name I think "is this the announcement??"...best of luck to you in the next week or so. I just know everything will go smoothly. Nans, I think you can buy Clomid online, but I don't know that it's a great idea. It can cause overstimulation of your ovaries and sometimes they do ultrasounds to ensure everything's okay while you're on it (in the U.S. anyway) so maybe go and see your doc and ask for the prescription? Having said that, I haven't had any monitoring while I've been on it, and I seem to be okay, so use your best judgement. I'm 12dpiui today, and unfortunately my temp went down a bit this morning. Not enough to say that the 2ww is totally over, but it's mirroring what happened last cycle, so I have very little hope left for this cycle. My nipples are just starting to get a bit tender today, so that's weird. I hope this is your month Nans, we know that your body knows how to get pg, so now it's just a matter of the right cycle. For me, I don't know that my body has a clue..pretty frustrating. If I'm not pg, I think I may do one more cycle of Clomid (though I'd really rather not because of the side effects) but I think that this time, we wouldn't do IUI. From the research that I've done, it seems like IUI is a good idea for couples who have male factor problems. Dh's sperm both times has been the highest rating, so it may not be worth it for us (though it's not that pricey at $160 each time). Anyway, no sense getting down yet..there are still a couple of days to go before I know for sure. Hope everyone else is well..Kerri? Clara? kc..you sound pretty busy, hopefully you're finding time to enjoy your pregnancy. N.

Good Morning Ladies...
KC, it's so good to hear from you. Sounds like you have your handsful lately. Yeah, another little girl! Hope your finding some "you" time and try and relax today on Mother's Day! We're still hoping for the May BFPs from Nans and Natasha! Ann, you're ALMOST there! At least you're dialated and the cervix is thinning, I'll be praying for you! As for me....NOTHING! No progress, she's sealed up there tight and just a'float'n around, but yet getting bigger by the day! My doctor even talked about a planned c-section which freaked me out, but that's only if I don't have any progress over the next 2 weeks. We're still waiting to see if she's gotten into the Church Daycare for the fall, so there's a lot weighing on my mind. I'm also sooo ready to quit work for a few months and that's driving me nuts too. Thank you all for all the wonderful website comments---hopefully I' can update it soon with newborn pics...and Ann, the pregnancy pictures were taken by my DH with a sheet that we hung up in our bedroom--they turned out great, some of my favorites I couldn't post b/c they were too sexy :0) Have a wonderful day!

Hi ladies, Unfortunately, it's not a happy Mothers Day for me. My temp went down and AF just showed up. I find it quite ironic (and a bit cruel) that I would find out on Mom's day that I'm not going to be a mom. I thought yesterday (based on my temps) that the wait was over, and had a good cry while talking about it with my brother (who has 3 kids). So, today I'm not as emotional as much as numb and deflated. Anyway, I actually think I'm going to take a break this next cycle. We will still bd on the right days (why waste a perfectly good O?), but no IUI and no Clomid and I'm darn well going to have a glass of wine (or 2!) if I want one. Maybe I'll have a Manhattan in New York. Sigh..really not feeling very happy about the fact that my travel companion is my pg friend. I was really hoping that by this trip, we'd both be pg, but now I get to shop in the maternity stores for her..and NOT be pg. :( Also, I'd like to let my body get back to normal without the bloating and headaches that I get with the Clomid. Anyway, dh and I are both feeling like maybe a break is in order. Nans..I sure hope you have better news than me! Much luck to you my dear, and much luck and good thoughts for you all...

Hi All! how was your weekend, just like Natasha V, AF arrived last night so it's CD 1 for me today...so sad i'm not pg again this cycle. Gonna try again until i get pg. Natasha V...i'm planning to start taking again some herbs that is formulated by a herbalist. It was recommeded to me by a friend. I take them last year and just stop when i get pg. Really don't know if it helped me before. But i think i'll give it a try again. Ann it's almost time for your baby's arrival, can't wait to hear your delivery experience. I know you'll have a safe delivery. Kerri don't stress yourself too much with thinking all of those things, just relax and everything will fall into places. I know your have a normal delivery but just in case just prepare your mind. Kc how are you doing? Clara hope to here from you very soon.

Hello everyone. Natasha and Nans, sorry about this cycle. Natasha, when I went off clomid and didn't do an IUI, that's when I happened to get pg. So you never know. Also, sometimes taking a break, like your trip, will help. And please do have a drink or two! Nans, hang in there. How long have you been using the monitor? I think it gets to know you better each month. Kerri, I hope you do start to dilate, but if not, I'm sure your C-section will go well and at least then you will know when you are going to meet your precious little Kalyn.
As for me..............Delaney decided to grace us with her presence Sat. night! I went to the hospital because I thought I was leaking fluid and she had not been very active that day or Friday. The doctor checked me out and found out I had a yeast infection. I thought they would send me home, but then they did an ultrasound because I had been unsure of her movements and although I was not leaking fluid, it was on the low side. SO they induced me! It all happened so fast. I was in labor for only seven hours. After five hours they broke my water. Up until then, the contractions were okay and bearable. After that they HURT! The nurse had warned me so I asked for an epidural for right after they broke my water, thank God. The epidural was not bad and really helped make the birth experience a nice one. I literally pushed about 10 times and she was here! I always thought it would be gross or uncomfortable. Honestly the whole process was amazing and when I finally saw her, nothing and no one else mattered. She was 7lbs. (even) and 19 1/2 inches long. A tiny little pumpkin. And she has a good amount of dark hair:0). I decided to try breast feeding and so far it is going well. She attached nicely right away which made things easier. The first night was rough. I think we all cried or felt like crying at one point. We hardly slept. The next night, I told my dh (who stayed the whole time) to sleep as much as he could so he could let me rest the next day. So Delaney and I had some bonding time together and it really made a difference. She really is in tune to my voice and I can soothe her now. So anyway, we're home now and adjusting to our new roles. My family brought over dinner and we are gearing up for her first bath and the night ahead. All of you are always in my prayers and are all mothers in my heart. I'll talk with you soon!
Oh, her picture will be on the hospital website hopefully by friday. I'll get the address so you can see her!

nans_n - May 15

Wow...nice to hear the good news Ann, i'm so happy and feel like crying when i read your post. I know it is an experience for a lifetime and every single moment is memorable for you. I know it's all worth it. Can't wait to see her pics. I know you will be very and adjusting to your new role as a mom but that is very exciting. I really can't wait for my time to come. Take care...

NatashaV - May 16

Oh my goodness, Ann! How surprising that it all happened so fast! I can hardly believe how great your experience sounds..may we ALL be blessed with a labor and (epidural!) like you had. Congratulations on Delaney's arrival..! I can only imagine how overwhelmed with love you feel to see your new baby. I'm sure adjusting to her arrival is overwhelming too, just remember - no one expects you to know what you're doing. Allow for mistakes and trust your maternal instincts. All the best to you & dh, and may God bless you (and bless us all) with health and happiness for you & your new little one...

anns - May 17

Hello. I just checked and Delaney's picture is up. Here is the website: www.stfranciscare.org. Then go to online nursery and then click to see the babies. They are listed by name and DOB. So she will be under Delaney and 5-13-06. They got the lbs. wrong! Oh well. Also, the parents names are correct. I have always used my middle name (now Delaney's middle name also) on the internet. Hope you are all doing well!

NatashaV - May 18

Ann, I just went to lookat Delaney..what an angel. Those cute chubby cheeks and it almost looks as though she's smiling. Awwww...so sweet. Love your real name by the way..very unique. Nans, how are you coping with getting af this cycle? I hope you're doing okay. Well, I'm off to NY tomorrow morning first thing. I think that we'll have a good time. If af had to show up this month, then I'm glad I have this trip to distract me. As I sit here typing, I'm enjoying a glass of wine with dh (toasting a good trip)...you have to enjoy the parts of NOT pg being while you can, right? :) I'll post when I return..all the best to everyone!

Kerri_md - May 18

Good Morning....sorry to hear about the arrival of AF Nans and NatashaV--what a bummer! I hope that the third time is the charm using the Monitor Nans...hang in there, remember, the Lord is never late with his timing. And a break is probably a good idea NatashaV..I hope that you have a wonderful time on your trip and .please enjoy a glass of wine for me...Iately I've been really feeling like a glass of wine would be very relaxing! Oh my goodness Ann, Congrats on your precious jewel. She's sooo adorable, isn't it amazing that she was living in your belly just a week ago? I'm so excited for you and she looks so happy and healthy. Well, as for me, went to the doctor yesterday and Kalyn is what they refer to as "a floater" At 38 weeks she "should" be in the pelvic bone causing me to dialte or efface...but nothing b/c she's just hanging onto something high and is enjoying her time in the womb. Therefore, I have an appoinment scheduled next wednesday with the perinatal specialist to see if she's still not engaged, how big her head is, and how much she weighs....and if she's still not engaged by next Wednesday, then her birthday will be Thursday, May 25, 2006 around 12:30ish---yep, kind of freaking me out that they planned the c-section date already and we most likely will be parents one week from today! Anyways, I just wanted to share the update and let you ladies know that I was thinking about y'all.

nans_n - May 19

NatashaV - May 23

Hi ladies, I'm back from NY. Had a really great trip! We basically shopped the entire time..my pg friend is a big shopper, so that's what we did instead of sight seeing. You sure have some great stores..I loved the Ann Taylor Loft store and spent tons there. Also enjoyed DSW shoes and Century 21. Good deals! :) I didn't think much about ttc when we were there, but I have to say that at times it broke my heart to watch my friend try on maternity clothes, talk about her pregnancy with strangers who congratulated her, and mention EVERY day that baby is moving or baby is on her bladder etc. etc. I didn't let on how much her constant baby chatter was hurting me because I don't want to take away from this experience for her. I just counted (lost track) and I'm CD10 today. We'll try again this weekend maybe, but nothing other than normal ttc. I'm starting to readjust my thinking that I have to find other outlets to focus on in my life, obviously trying to control this process hasn't helped. Anyway, hope all is well with Delaney, Ann. How are you healing? Are you in any pain? Kerri..ooooh, anyday now right? That's very exciting, keep us posted. Kc and Clara, hope you're well. Nans, I too hope this is your month for your miracle. I loved your city (where do you live by the way?) and I think you'd look wonderful strolling down Broadway with your stroller and your smile... Talk to you all soon!

nans_n - May 24

Hi Natasha V, welcome back, nice to hear that you had a wonderful time in NY...i also love shopping...did you watch Julia Roberts play? DSW really have a lot of great deal when it comes to shoes. I'm a make up and skin care junkie..LOL...i love going to MAC store and sephora....I think i can spend the whole day there to shop....it makes me forget baby making and TTC too....I live upstate NY in Rockland but DH and I are planning to move in Queens before the year ends because of his work. He drives 45 mins to an hour going to work everyday and he finds it too tiring. I just go to manhattan maybe twice a month...since there are also a lot of store here in Rockland. I'm also CD10 today and the monitor said it's still low...so hopefully i'll O this weekend and will see. I just really pray that we will get pg this cycle. I'm taking some herbs starting this cycle i don't know if i mentioned it to you. But i hope that it will help me. Then i'm taking some folic acid too...Ann how are you? i know you are enjoying every moment with Delaney..Kerri how's Kalyn doing? ....are you scheduled for a C-section or not? Hope you'll have a safe delivery...Kc how are you? any progress and update with your pregancy. i hope you and your baby is doing great..Clara how are you...hope to hear from you very soon. I know you are very busy with your work and i think that's good for you. Have a nice day to you all ladies. Please continue to pray for me and Natasha V. Talk to ya all later...

Kerri_md - May 24

Well, I went to the doctors today---Baby Kalyn is estimated to be 8lbs, 13oz by the sonogram!!! Her head is rather large for my pelvis and she's not begun to decend into the vaginal canal....Therefore, we're keeping the c-section date and by this time tomorrow I'll be a Mommy! I'm a little scared and a lot excited all at once! Pray that all goes well, the specialist found an unusal place for me to have a bloodvessel, right where they cut for a c-section between the uterene wall and my bladder---it's so rare he wants my doctor to take a picture of it and report back to him about it----feels like I'm a science experiment or something. Anyways, all of you are in my prayers and I'll report after I'm able to recover!

anns - May 26

Hi Ladies. NatashaV it sounds like you had a nice time shopping in NY. How was the play? I'm sorry your friend was so focused on her pregnancy. I realize that you don't want to take away from her experience, but she should be sensitive to what you are going through too. So are you trying w/out clomid this cycle or IUI? Hi Nans! Nans, you must be around 10days too. Any news on the monitor? What is it showing? Thank you all for your well wishes and the compliments on Delaney! Natasha thank you for the advice. You all deserve to be moms very soon. (now!) The first week was a little overwhelming and I did cry every night. My dh has been an angel and so supportive. But now, we have gotten into a groove and things are looking up! The only hard time is nighttime. So I talked to the doctor about introducing a bottle to help get me a little more sleep and he basically said what Natasha said, "you can listen to advice, then do what is right for you family and trust yourself". It was like a weight had been lifted and I was much calmer about things. I know I am not super mommy, but I know my baby girl is happy and that is all that matters now. Kerri, my dh and I are so excited for you! We want to hear all about your experience. As I'm writing this I'm wondering if things are happening right now?? God Bless to all. I really am praying that Nans and Natasha and Clara get bfp's very soon!

nans_n - May 26

Hi Ann...i'm CD 12 today and the monitor is still LOW..i don't know what's going on...hopefully be able to see peak this weekend. I'm so excited this cycle and hopefully i'll get pg very soon. I can't wait to be mom just like you. I'm very happy that you are doing great. Kerri i'm also wondering the same thing, maybe something is going on right now..and hopefully Kaylyn will be here anytime, oh it's really exciting for you new moms. Natasha V how's everything going? what are you doing this cycle...hope will get our bfp veru soon. Have a nice weekend everybody...
