Hey JB... What does lupron do. I took a test on Sat because i wanted to see if the ovidrel (HCG) shot was out of my system. It wasn't .I am going to try again tomorrow morning. I will get bloodwork on the 11th in the morning if AF does not come. I hope i know on a HPT before that. My BBs are sore and my nipples sorry tmi. temp was 100 the other night. Sometimes i do not feel good but i still think it could be a side effect of the meds

Hopeful, it's never TMI girl... share your thoughts! I have no symptoms what so ever...not sure what to think about that! Although everyone is different... did you take a 2nd HCG shot? Lupron is a follicle stimulating hormone that I am taking to help with progesterone!

Hopeful, I found out today that the main reason they're having me take Lupron is so that if this cycle is a bust, I can start the next cycle of injectibles ASAP.

JB... I will hopefully not start another cycle but if i did I will go in on day 2 of my period to start meds again. I am not sure if i have asked you yet but how many iui's have you done? Anything new today. I tested to make sure the HCG shot was out of my system and i am good to go.

Hi JB & Hopeful - you guys look good this month - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news. I could use some - af arrived on Sunday. We're going to our new clinic in December - maybe we'll try injectables for our 3rd IUI in January. JB - we live in Georgia and I opened a small gift shop - my plan was to do this so I would not have to pay for day care - I guess I put the cart before the horse :) Baby dust!!

Georgia... I am sorry to hear about AF. I can give you a bit of encouraging news. My boss has been trying for a while to have a baby, he has done repeated IUI's with no luck he then went to IVF with no luck. IVF was there last attempt they were going to give up. The very next month after the failed IVF they got pregnant on their own. They baby was born a week ago. Good Luck... you never know. Enjoy the holidays. Anything new JB

Hopeful, I thought I saw a small sign of AF this morning but didn't see anything a few min ago, but this is the game that AF plays...so I hope not....only time will tell! Hi everyone! I got my AF last week. I wanted to start IVF but I can't because my clinic is closed for a week when I would be coming off the BCP's so I have opted to do another round of clomid. I had a terrible period last month and I also had no CM at all which is unusual for me as I ovulate on my own on CD 15 every month so I took 50 of clomid this month instead of 100. I just didn't feel fertile on the clomid....I know that sounds weird but I didn't. So.....I'm on my 3rd day of clomid....Starting alllll over again. Feeling more blah about it lately and feeling a little hopeless right now.

I probably should have stopped using after 3 cycles - rumor has it if it doesn't work after 3 cycles it's not going to...Clomid also makes my periods unbearable. Don't feel blah - lots of successful IVF's or maybe this month of Clomid will work - are you doing another IUI? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hey, Georgia. Yeah, we're doing another IUI. My husband has low sperm count as well as low motility and morphology so doc has me on clomid to give his swimmers (or non-swimmers) more targets. I ovulate fine and I get my period every 30 days and I'm not convinced that 100 mgs (last month) of clomid was doing much for me. We have been trying for 18 months now...So I'm right behind ya! Thanks for the kind words. :) JB- When will you find out???

I had a question... Are everyones periods still the same on the meds. I ussually spot for about 4-5 days before my period and i am now on cd25 and ussually have a cd 28-cd29 period. I should have started spotting by now but i am just thinking that the meds are mesing with my head. Just wanted to hear some thoughts This was my first cycle so i am not sure if it makes things different.

Hi everyone - Amy, I don't know - I would have thought an IUI would fix the low sperm count/mobility thing. We have the opposite - lots of fast sperm, but STILL no bfp. Totally unexplainable after two and a half years. I imagine we need to do an IVF, but without insurance that is a no go for us. I kind of wish we had some explanation. I take 100 mg. of Clomid, and have a few good size follies each month. Of course all it takes is one :) Hopeful - all I've noticed is much heavier and more painful periods. Sometimes they are longer and I'm sure that is a direct result of all the hormones we are taking. JB - where are you? I hope you are coming back with good news...

Started spotting today i guess she is coming any day now. ( I usually spot a few days before my period) I guess we will try next month. This takes everything out of you huh. JB anything new. I wish you all the best this month georgia. you never know. My DH keeps telling me it will happen when it is meant to happen.

Hi Hopeful - Yeah, if I had a bfp for everytime someone gave me the same advice dh gave you - lol! Anyway, I'm sorry about af - it's just the worst! The good news is that we only have to wait a week or so to try again - imagine if we had to wait like 6 months! See - it could be worse :) I'm still hoping someone has good news for us all...anyone??

AF is here this morning. Going in for CD 2 BW and US tomorrow. If everything is ok tomorrow i will start my meds again. After doing some calculations there is a very very good chance i will have to have an IUI in Chirstmas morning. Any news JB. How are you georgia. Amy how are you holding up. Did you already have the other IUI yet

HI, just thought it was kind of funny, Hopeful2411. If your BW and US go good our IUI will proably be on the same day I am looking at the 24 or 25. First it with injuction and IUI hopeful that this will work... Good luck to all !!!!
