TTC since May, ovulating this week!

Hey! Anyone want to join me? We have been TTC since May, but not very hard. My husband has been sick, so we were lucky to have sex once a month! He's better now that he's had this gall bladder out, so we're really going to finally try. My period has been exactly on since I went off the pill, for the most part anyway. It's weird because I was originally on the pill for bleeding all the time. It must've fixed the problem I guess. Anyways, I can predict exactly when I'm going to ovulate, and which day my period is going to start. That's a first for me! It's pretty exciting. Not to mention it shouldn't be very hard to have sex, since we've been seriously deprived!! :) Anyway, I hope the only reason I haven't gotten pregnant is because we haven't been able to have sex very often. I'd hate for it to be from me having a bleeding disorder for so many years. Ovulating this week and hoping to finally conceive! Good luck everyone!!

Hey Beth I have been TTc since my last MC trying really hard since June this month I tried an OPK trying to pinpoint my ovulation day from the OPK seems somewhere between the 19th-21st so I am currently appx.2-4 DPO. Your post was funny because I told dh that I was glad to be past O since we have had sex so much this cycle and you said that you guys were seriously deprived so either way we both have been doing a lot of BDing so maybe we'll get lucky this month! I am TTC
# 2 I have a 2 year old son and were hoping TC a litte girl this round, but would be happy with either my son turns 3 next week and says he wants a little sis for his b-day I told him not this year,but hopefully next. Anyhow its so frustrating sometimes the whole TTC thing you think if you hit O your gonna get pregnant, but for some reason it dosen't seem to be that simple! Well keep me posted on your progress as I will do the same I currently have nothing to report being as it is so soon since O,but hopefully I'll have morning sickness by Halloween Isn't that awful me hoping for morning sickness I figure if thats what it takes I'll take it! I came off bcp in MAy, was only on for a yr but yr before i was on depo. I have had regular periods btu no ovulation. I'm worried as the doc said to com back next may after a year ttc. Were you ovulating right away.? Is therer nymone else that isnt ovualting =(

Hey! That's funny that your son wants a sister for his birthday. I was born on my brother's birthday! It's pretty funny. I always think morning sickness would be a sign too, but what if we get no signs?! That would be frustrating. I hope that doesn't happen. KY - I stopped my bc at the end of April, but didn't get a period until July. Thought for sure I was pregnant! But ever since then my period's been right on time. Good luck on that morning sickness!

Hi Ladies, I too ovulated somewhere between 21-23? No positive opk but good temp dip and ewcm, so am pretty sure I did. I am ttc #2 also Lizzy. Have 2 yr old daughter and ready to go again. I had m/c in april and trying really hard since. I had no luck with clomid in sept, but great luck with acupuncture and herbs this month so I am hoping... I guess we all gotta do that 2 ww!! yikes. Hey everyone! I am having a hard time trying to get my husband to BD this week. I told him I seriously need us to try, so I can find out if it's my body, or just our lack of BDing. I'm so frustrated! How can I get him to want it more? This is bad! Men are supposed to want sex all the time, or at least a couple times a week!!!!

I have learned to never tell them when you are ovulating, just try to keep it somewhat regular and there will be no stress for them. I think it stresses them out also having to do it at a certain time. I know my husband told me he felt like a sperm bank lol, so now I just jump his bones as much as I can the week before and during-he never quite knows. Good luck

I've never told him before, but this time I thought maybe it would be the only thing to work. Like everyone here says, you try for years to not get pregnant, then when you want to, it just doesn't happen. Not like you think it will.

Hang in there beth. You never know and it only takes one time! That is good you are regular, I never quite know when anything is going to happen. Dang pcos! Stay positve and hang in there. We're all in this together it sounds like. So light some candles and throw something sexy on and tease him a little-how can he resist. Baby dust storms to all..

Beth, I agree with you it seems we try for years no to get pregnant and then when you want to it seems like an eternity! I think jcr is right maybe you could try seducing him to get him in the mood my husband gets in the mood quick when I do the seduction thing! I've tried telling my husband that I was oing and he says he'd rather not know said it make him feel like thats the only reason I want to have sex. I think they had rather not know, thats why I do the first moves thing around that time! Well it seems as though we have all past Ovulation and are officially in the 2wwing game...erhh I hate this!

This 2ww is the worst. Every little twinge makes you wonder am I???? Yeeeeeesh. Lizzy I hope were all sicker than dogs for Halloween. Beth, did you seduce the man?? If that doesn't work, pick a fight...make up sex is always great:)!! Good luck and let's hope this is the month for us all!!!!!
