NATASHA-maybe after a few days you can test and get a dark +. that is what i am hoping for you anyway. i am glad that you liked the poem. i think it explains some of what we go through but not all of it.
NICOLE-your time will come to see that + just like everyone else will get a turn. for some it may just take longer and i think i am one of those that will take longer. keep your chin up even though it is hard sometimes. just keep looking for that silver lining that we are all looking for. take care.
KATT-no news from fil doc the doc didn't show up. so now we have to go back tomorrow. what kind of shit is that and to top it off we have to go to his office that is about 45 minutes away and the one today is like 15. really pisses me off.
MOMMY2JOSH-i sure hope that Josh gets to feeling better.
JLP- i would switch to an RE. they are more aggressive and are better at monitoring than an OB/GYN is. i would definitely get a second opinion if nothing else. good luck to you. you should be monitored better than what they are doing.
JEN- how are you doing. the dream about adopting sounds pretty cool. do you know if/when you may be going to the doc and starting iui's? i know that you said you couldn't and had to cancel your appointment before but i was just wondering if you have set up another date.

Welcome jlp. I cannot take credit for the poem in the opener, Jamie wrote it! I agree, go to a RE. Why fool around. Natasha, fingers crossed for you! Robyn, how are you feeling now. My hsg was done by my OB. He told me to take 800mg Motrin. I had some discomfort but felt better after it was over. Just a little worn out. Katt you are filled with info for everyone! Jamie, sorry about your fil's appt. Tanya, Is Josh doing any better? Poor little thing. :-( Nicole have you thought about asking your doc about injections? They are more expensive but less side effects. I have unexplained fertility. Although I think I have Oing issues. What cd are you on? Well I have an u/s tomorrow and b/w. So maybe I will know when I will have IUI tomorrow! This was a great first day of the new thread. I hope the positivity stays. I will check on you girls later. Sorry if I missed anyone.

JLP - absolutely 100% seek another opinion you must be monitored on Clomid especIally if there are cysts involved it can actually be worse to be on these meds with cysts. You must have blood work, ultrasounds and be checked on certain days during the cycle. These girls are right probably need to be talking with an infertility specialist. Also Clomid is no more than 6 cycles if its doesnt work by then its not gonna work. We are doing IVF but i did Clomid with very very close monitoring for 4 months last year and the RE said enough its not gonna work so we went very aggressive and were sucessful on our 1st IVF attempt we had to terminate our pregnancy on the 20th of Feb at 14 1/2 I had no amniotic fluid but i am starting my 2nd IVF cycle now. So finding a good RE that is all about you and getting you all the necessary pre-testing before going on these meds including testing your husband as well is whats right and maybe Clomid isnt even what you are supposed to be on. Tons of luck to you please keep us posted. KATT - yes its a good thing it will be better when we get the date tomorrow for the actual procedure. I heard about the Ovuwatch a while ago i actually looked into it when i was on Clomid but decided against it. No reason in general. Well gonna get ready for bed will talk to you all in the morning.

KATT, NICOLEM, SLOWPOKE01, WANNABEAMOM, ROBYN and all other concerned ladies. Thanks ladies for the warm wlecome and advice. However I did call the practice and filed a complaint about my treatment and I was directed to another OB within the practice. She phoned me on last night and informed me of some of the same things you guys informed me of. She was very helpful and seemed pos about my treatment and testing options. I will be calling this am to schedule the next available appointment with her. She also advised me not to take the clomid this cycle (which I would have been starting on today) due to that fact of the side effects. She advised me that vision problems is a direct indication that you need to be removed from clomid treatments. She also stated if she sees that she cannot find the prob she will refer me to a RE. To answer you ladies questions I have never had a laproscopy, or thyroid exam. I have only had 2 us and 1 blood test to check my estrogen level (which I never got the results from). I feel very confident that my new OB will help out a bit. She seems very concerned (especially to call me after office hours). She has stated she has a special interest in infertility although she is not a fertility specialist, she spent extra time in school studying infertility. She has also mentioned to me that Letrozole will be the med she will have in mind for me. Any of you ladies know about that treatment option? I wish the best for you guys and as always will we all keep praying for each other!

ROBYN - May 2

Hey girls, the RE just called and to accomodate me so we could go on vacation they are doing my surgery on Friday. I love them i had to tell my nurse they are wonderful. JLP - i am thrilled you got a new OB or one in the practice that is willing to make some necessary changes. I have not heard of the meds they are putting you on. Please keep us posted.

NicoleM - May 2

Hi ladies. I got a +opk today - yay!! DH and I BD last night and we were both exhausted by that time - pooh hubby. Plus I had a hot flash during - not fun! He's a trooper though. We'll go for earlier tonight - LOL! Did the hcg shot make anyone else feel so tired? ROBYN - I'm glad they were able to work with your schedule. It's wonderful to actually have docs who really are helpful. I actually like my ob/gyn better than my re. She is much more personable and the staff is nicer. Plus, the 2 days I had blurry vision I did call the nurse at the REs office and she said she never heard of any vision problems associated with clomid and that she thought it must be due to something else. Since it went away on it's own I didn't really worry about it, but I thought it was odd she'd never heard of that since it's printed as a side effect right on clomid's mds! Oh well. JLP - so glad you are moving on. I also have not heard of that med. Did she tell you what it is for? KATT, you're just having trouble with the house training?? When I was a Vet tech, if there was a REALLY stubborn case, we'd actually recommend keeping the dog leashed to the owner in the house b/c they usually won't go in that case - and keep them crated when you're gone since they don't usually like to go in the crate. Then, of course, lots of treats and praise immediately when they do go outside. That usually worked pretty quickly for those who were willing to go to the trouble, but it's definitely a pain in the butt! KATHY, I'm cd14 today. I can't wait to hear when you have your next IUI! I may try the injections if the clomid doesn't work, but if we had more than 2 follies mature I wouldn't go through with IUI or TI, so I don't know if it would be worth it for me. Well girls, I'm off. I'll check in later today.

Oh my gosh!Hey wowwy ladies.I was reading the last thread and my god!I did not write that post.I was shocked to see it.My only guess is that either my neice got onto this site and did that or my cousins daughter. They had both been here at my house.I keep the site addy and my name/password on a pad of paper by my comp.I am so embarrassed by this.I would never tell someone they were not welcome here.ready4#3 i am very sorry for what was said about you.i did not by any means write that.i am going to talk to my neice and see if she did it or if my cousins dd did.I am upset by all of this. But no i would never say such a thing. And i am so sorry this happened.

mommy2josh - May 2

Afternoon ladies. Welcom JLP to our happy little family. I'll be back later. Josh is feeling better, thank you for all your well wishes and concerns. love yas.

NicoleM - May 2

TANYA, I'm so glad Josh is doing better! AMY, I'd like to believe you, but it's hard to believe your niece or cousin's child would have your writing style down so well. I looked at your old posts and you never put any space between your sentences. The ugly post was the same way. I really hope you are telling the truth.

mommy2josh - May 2

CD17 and still no possitive OPK. I am getting so tired of it. Why cant I just ovulate on my own. I am ready to cry. For the last couple of days I clearly saw the second line even though it was significantly lighter then the control line. Today there is no line at all :( Amy, do you keep the thread name on the pad of paper as well? I wander how a child could figure it out? They would need to go to the home page, then click on the forum and then pick trouble getting pregnant and find our thread? Anyway. Robyn good for you. When are you leaving. I remember I joined this thread a week or so before you went on your honeymoon. I cant believe its been almost a year. I wonder if Denise had a baby yet. May be I'll drop her an e-mail. How is everyone? I read the posts but cant seem to concentrate enough to respond. LOL. Anyone watch AI? Just want opinions. Oh Katt as for the Saw Trilogy I absolutely loved it. Stupid? Yes. Entertaining? Definately. I think the first one is the best. I saw the Last King of Scottland. Very serious movie. Extremely interesting if you dont mind the tetalitarian politcal movies. Where is Gayle? I hope all is well with her. Rhonda I hope you are ok. Thinking about you. Hellos to Kathy, Kelley, Leslie, Jen, Erin, Jamie, NicoleB, Natasha, Christine, Caron, Christie, Readyfor#3, JLP and anyone else I may have erroneously ommited from this post. Love yas. Please pray that I get a +OPK one of these days. By the way Katt, I mentioned the OV watch several times in the past. I wish I could use it, but they say that if you have irregular cycles or cycles which last more then 35 days it is a waste of money. :(

mommy2josh - May 2

Where is everyone today? :(
