Hey Everyone! Sorry I don't have time to respond to everyone. My kids have waaaaay too much energy and I'm trying to keep up with them, But I did read through the post and am hopefull for everyone who is experiencing tough times right now and also am very happy about who ever posted some good news. Just wanted to give an update what is going on with me. I decided to test today one more time after not testing yesterday because I was beginning to think that I eighter missed my surge or did not O this month all together. Well, today the test was POSITIVE. Both lines are the same darkness! I am so thrilled. I'm glad my DH is still home for a few days before he has to leave. Hopefully everything will work out and I can begin my 2ww soon! Kepping everyone in my thoughts! Bye for now.

amy you are not worth my time. we have sperm issues and spending time with my niece didnt cause that considering that is something has been a problem a long time before my niece came along since she is 5 and we have been trying for 10 years. you know they say that karma will bite you in the ass when you least expect it. what are your fertility issues since you seem to know so much about everyone elses. also i think you may be that chick who started that marriage thread. maybe thats why your lashing out at me because maybe you didnt like what i said.

MOMMY2JOSH-i didnt see your post but you are right she is insensitive and i will ignore her because she is just plain rediculous. i think she has more issues than bi-polar or schitzophenia can take credit for. she just likes to start trouble one of those people who cant stand it unless they are the center of attention or unless they are starting drama or hurting someone else.

Yeah, slowpoke01, don't even think twice about what she says. It's all BS anyway. She just can't stand it when people are positive and happy. I hope I get a little niece or nephew soon. I think that would bee so special to have that unique relationship. I am the oldest in my family, therefore the only one with kids so far. Best wishes to you hun!

READYFOR#3-i know you are new here and you and alot of others may not know that i have taken care of my niece since she was a week old and so yes i am very involved with her and the decisions that are made for her since she does live with her dad and her mom gets visitation but i am the one who buys what she needs and i always have. so financially i would be her parent so to speak. lol. it is amazing how ignorant some people are. my niece would rather be with me than anyone and yes she is spoiled to a certain degree but all kids are. she minds me when noone else can make her mind i dont have to spank her or give her a time out or anything usually i can just set her down and talk to her. yes i do talk about her alot. it is really cool to have a bond with someone like that. her and i are just as close as her and her mother are. you will love it when you become an aunt. i have set up a savings account for her because she wants to be a doctor so i give her a colt every year and what we sell it for goes in her account. she thinks that it is cool that she will have college money when she gets big. i am proud of her just the same as i would be my own. she had a brother who died at 6 months old and i was the same way with him and he was only her half brother but i loved him the same. anyway you are right she cant stand it when there is nothing but positive going on she has to put her little negative in.i think in a way that it is funny cause i have posted my email and told her that if she wants to debate she is more than welcome to email me and so far she hasnt. crazy huh. i guess she just is one of those that can only run their mouth when there is a room full of people. proof that she just wants attention. i guess her mom and dad arent showing her enough. she needs to go to school since she is probably just 12 and get off the computer talking trash like a little kid would do. she can talk it since it is on the net bet she isnt that brave in person..lol

Ladies, I'm really looking for some input today. My last two cycles were 37days, 41days. So they are long. Since I testes positive opk today, that means I will most likely ovulate tomorrow, which will be CD19. So my question is: Is it normal to ovulate this late in the cycle even though I'm on Clomid? So far I have read that some women O early, and some late. Any past experience from anybody here would be greatly appreciated. :)

READYFOR#3-what days did you take clomid because if you took it days 5-9 it may cause you to ovulate later in your cycle.

I took it days 3-7. But you know what, on calnedar it lloks as though it was days 4-8, but hours wise, it has actually 3-7. My period began in the evening on April 21st, but I only began taking Clomid on the 24th. But I took it forst thing in the morning. So I guess that was my way of figuring out what was actually day 3 of my period. I hope that makes sense. And also, I just read that after the lost pill, O can happen as early as 5 days or as late as 9. So tomorrow will be day 9 after the last pill for me. So I guess I'm within the normal range.

Sorry for typos. I'm typing really fast because I'm constantly chasing my kids between the sentences :)

yeah what you read is true what you read. i usually take it days 3-7 and i ovulate about 7 days later. this is your first time taking it too right? if so it may have taken it a little longer to get into your system if you know what i mean. i would say that is normal because you are supposed to ovulate 5-9 days after taking the last pill also when you get a + opk you could ovulate 24-48 hours later so be sure to bd today, tomorrow, and the next day just to make sure that you hit ovulation.

After 16 chart cycles no pg and I just had a post coital a week or so ago to determine I am ok but my hubby's swimmers are nearly non existant SO IUI here we come. I am 8/9 dpo today and my temp is still up. Yes, I am on a 2ww with a natural cycle, but will be doing IUI on or around May 20th. Answer: Nikki OMG i am so happy for you sweety thats incredible news. I originally had also read not to ice the area but i swear you wont feel a damn thing going in. My IVF nurse said just ice the area it will make it easier so i did and trust me as long as you rub the area for about a min the oil gets disspated in there. OH also another pointer about the oil place it in your for about 15 min as long as it has body heat it also warms up i read that also that definitely works we placed the oil in the syringe and we all take turns holding it so it gets up to body temp. (just a little bit of advice) HANNAH - welcome i am IVF for the 2nd time LOL we were sucessful on our 1st attempt but we had to terminate at 14 1/2 weeks in feb i had no amniotic fluid so we are starting again. Anyways you are also more than welcome to come to the other thread these girls are on as well its Apr/May IVF both of these threads are a great source of knowledge.
