Kotkot--You're back too!!! Yay. I've thought a lot about you recently. How've you been doing? Anything new with you--TTC or otherwise? Thank you so much ffor the well wishes, really sweet. I truly believe this wasn't my cycle, but I do believe my baby dreams lie in IVF, so if not this cycle, hopefully the next. I'll find out for sure in a couple of hours. Angela (I call her So), congrats on the new puppy. I'm so glad you took a nice vacation, you did deserve it/need it. What kind of furbaby did you get? I am currently 15 DP 5 dt (or 15 days post
a 5 day transfer in IVF-speak). If TTC is a language all it's own, IVF is it's own dialect.

mega....to help ease this....i had a hard time getting ++++'s on a HPT. this last time around, i did not POAS i went right for the beta. do not give up until blood results are in. welcome newbies....nice to have you. i have taken follistim in the past so i can help in that dept. cmelissa, what is happening? MEGA! I have been waiting to hear from you all day. I probably have checked this thread 1,000 times. I hope that your beta comes back +. But I can see whay you POAS. By then you would think it would be there. What is the protocol with FET? Can you do it right away or have to take a break if it comes to that. My thoughts are with you today. Hugs around you during this trying day! Email me anytime if you want to chat. LYNN: Yep, we sure did "O" this weekend. Still had + opk Friday night, so we bd'd Friday and Sat. nights. Sat. morning felt really bloated like ovulation bloating after an IUI, so think that was it. Temp shifted Sunday and cm was ew anymore. So I think we hit it on the 2 most important days. The 3rd in a row wouldn't have mattered I don't think. Cervix is closed today and low and temp is high again. So again here I am in the 2WW. It sucks, but if af shows I am doing Gonal F/IUI again, so excited about that. Only 8 days to go! SO: I responded to your other poster earlier today. Welcome to the thread. We really need to start a new one. HOw about just "starting injections 2" . Let me know! CMELISSA: What is going on today? Are you off work? You start meds this week right?

ladies, well guess what?! I'm STILL in limbo land. NO CALL about my beta. It was labeled STAT too, which means I should've had the call tonight between 4 & 6, it's now almost 7 and still nada. Beyond annoying right now. I expected there'd be a message on my VM when I came home from work. And there was, 2 of them, one was a from a friend the other a hang up. Not my clinic though. Now it's past office hours, so there's no one I can call to b**tch at now, though I'd very much like to. But the b/w was done at an outside clinic so maybe there's nothing they could've done anyway. So here I am, no beta results, so I'll have to take the PIO one more night though most likely I'm not pg and I can't even drink & have sex with my DH right now on our anniversary. Grrr. Believe me someone's getting an earful tomorrow. Thanks for letting me vent ladies. Lynn, happy b-day to your DH. And your story gives me hope, I guess there really are some people who don't get much if any HCG in their urine. Here's hoping I'm one of them. Or of course it could be a +, but very low level now too. Not that I'd know that right now. Grrr. Carole, my clinic allows a FET immediately after a BFN on a fresh cycle, not all do though. I'm thankful mine does allow it, waiting makes me crazy. :) Which I'm sure you all noticed. LOL! The protocal is short, just suppress normal ovulation, egg making, then when the lining is nice and thick implant the embies and wait for the beta test. Fewer drugs, same amount of time really as a natural cycle. Not much less of a success rate as a fresh IVF cycle either. I think next time I'll skip the stick. The funny thing is I'm normally anti-POAS. This 2 ww made me do funny things I guess. Well DH is home so I've got to go. Have a nice night. Thanks for the vent. Mega, first of all HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Secondly, I wish that I could B!T(H out you lab for you! That is horrible! If someone says that they are going to call then they should...even if they call and say "sorry we won't get your results until tomorrow" at least its something. Carole, we meet again! I'm glad that I finally found the thread where the injectible ladies hang out! :) Lynn, thanks for the welcome! Is follistim the same as gonal F? Sorry, I'm really uninformed when it comes to this stuff...I finally mastered the world of clomid and now I'm in a whole new world and trying to learn! Again, thanks so much for the support! I really needed it!

Thank you, Angela! And thanks for B!tch offer too. :) I agree I should've got a call back, so weird. Maybe they forgot about me?!!! Well I'll definitely remind them of my existance tomorrow. Gonal F & Follistim are similar in that they are both pure FSH injectibles, I think they really are more or less the same drug, different maker. You can use a pen device on both drugs. Easier way to inject, I actually didn't think the Follistim pen hurt at all. I loved the pen! You'll master the injectibles world too So. Best of all, you'll get your O. Then hopefully that BFP. Hang in there...

hey mega still waitting to hear from you !!!! any news! hope that it is gonna be positive all my thoughts for you. for me .. well yeah i am still struggling for the whole fertility thing. i just was so busy during the last two month and i couldnt manage to visit the site frequently. well i have just finished plan A, my six month clomid is now off and now iam totally convinced that although clomid was successful in inducing ovulation but my body is not working in a harmony with it. so no more clomid. this month i didnt get any drug except for the metformin which i still have to take all the way along . for plan B i think iam going to do the Lap. next month as AF shows, all at all my dr said that he is pretty convinced that i have to do under a course of injectables with natural bding if nothing's upnormal appeared on the Lap., if the Lap. results arrived back with something weird then then i will do inject. with IVI so lets waite and see.
anyways, i wish you all the luck and keep us in touch

Hey Ladies - MEGA - im so sorry to hear about the hpt was a negative - dont lose hope yet b/c the beta test is more accurate! Even if it is a bfn you are doing shared risk right?? I know this will work for you - it doesn't alwyas work the 1st time but i just know it will work so keep your head up!! Welcome soimpatient - i will be taking gonal f and repronex but dont start until saturday! Are you doing ivf or an inectible cycle?? What kind of puppy did you get?? Also how was MExico?? Ive been to Cancun and the Riviera Maya before it was awesome!! WHat does POAS mean?? Carole looks like you definitely bd'd the right time - wishing you a BFP this month! I worked yesterday but was in meetings all day so i couldnt really post! I have my dr. appt on saturday to start the meds! welcome Kotkot!! Mega we are all anxious to hear from you today i prayed for you last night!!!

Well it is an official BFN. It was a lab screwup, that's why my clinic didn't get my results in til this morning. Not the best way to start the day, with a BFN, but at least the suspense is over now & I know it didn't work the first time for me. I stop PIO tonight, call them when AF shows (in a few days) & start BCPs. So I do have a plan. Kotkot, good luck with the lap next month. It's a very minor procedure. I'm sure it'll show the all clear, but I think it's important to have before moving on to injectibles &/or IVF. Good luck. I had a similar experience with Clomid, it did get me to O but that's it. If you have any questions about the lap, let me know. I had it in Feburary. Cmelissa, thanks for the prayer. Good luck Sat. with your baseline u/s appt., how exciting. You & I will probably have our transfers close together now. 2 WW buddies. Hopefully this time ending in BFPs for both of us. You're right, I do have Shared Risk which DH and I are now soooo happy we did. Phew. One less worry. Oh, and POAS means Pee On A Stick, another name for using a HPT. All these abbrevations! Mega, I'm sorry about your BFN:( I was really hoping that this would have been your month. Hopefully, next round will be a success. cmelissa, My puppy is a cockapoo...he looks like a fluffy cocker spaniel. He's pretty cute but he's a handful:) We stayed in the Mayan Riviera at the Bahia Principe. It was beautiful. We also went to Tulum, Cozumel & Cancun while we were there. DH & I got married in the Mayan 3 years ago so it was nice to go back to the same area. I am on day 5 of provera and this cycle I will be doing injectibles with IUI. DH has been tested and everything is good in his department but we're going to do an IUI in hopes that it will make things even better. KotKot, I hope that your lap goes well and you can start injectibles. Have you done them before? Well, I'd better get back to work! Have a good day ladies!

I will start my first round of injections tomorrow. I'm a little scared about it. I don't know what to expect from it. Can any of you give my advise or your experience with it. Does the IVF hurt a lot?

Debbie--Welcome. Good luck tomorrow with day 1 of injectibles. You'll get used to the daily shots. The subq (in the tummy) shots aren't generally bad, the IM (butt) shots hurt a bit more. Not horrible though. I thought Clomid carried more s/e than injectibles. Are you doing IUI with the injectibles or are you in the midst of your 1st IVF cycle? The egg retrival can be a little crampy, & of course your bloated from all the stimming meds, but it's not that painful. I just finished my first IVF, let me know if you have more questions. Good luck. So--Thank you! Aw, your new puppy sounds ADORABLE. Is the doggie potty trained yet, or are you working on that? Not the most fun job in the world. Your Mexican vacation sounds amazing. Never been there, so far. I'd love to go one day though. That's awesome that you & your DH got married there. Romantic. I love destination weddings. We had one, in Vegas actually. hello all.....welcome to the newbies. Carole, i am all about beginning a new thread. keep me posted if you do. i am glad you hit all the right days and now the prayers begin for you. Mega, i am sorry the lab messed up and sorry you experienced a BFN. keep us posted on th bcp's and the FET. i wish it would have been different for you. cmelissa, you begin injection soon. how is MIL? i agree with Mega on the pen. it was great and no pain. the needle is so thin and not very long. i gave the injections to myself. wish all the new users the best of luck. 7 more days until ultrasound. hmm, wonder if the baby will cooperate this time. i'll keep you posted. talk to you all tomorrow.

Magan - This is my first injectables. I have never been threw this before. I go for my blood draw and ultra sound tomorrow. I'm not sure what IVI is. I will be taking by the end around five injections. The clomid did nothing for my fsh levels. I think they are supposed to be raised a little.

hey mega .. i sorry that doesnt work this month. i am really frustrated and even angry but what shall we do . i mean we have to be patient and absorb our anger. well yeah mega .. i really hope you can help on the Lap thing. did anything arrive to be unusual on your Lap.? me myself iam not quite sure that the Lap results will arrive with something bad. i think my doctor will waite until after the Lap. so he can decide wether i need injections/IVI or INjections/noraml Bd . you know that on my last clomid cycle i was really frustrated and i asked him to recommend me to IVF consultant as i was eager to reach the end of the way. no more torture. the Dr refused and he was totally frustrated from me being so unpatient. (he is not suffering at all, does he?) and he said that i must not jump all the remaining plans and procedures that must be undertaken before switching to IVF. ANYWAYS, i will keep u posted girls.soimpatient , i have never done injections before so it is gonna be atotally new experiance.
