Oh, wow, you do work in a small office. That's nice though, there's a sense of closeness in a lot of small work places. Sounds like a fun group. I have all the major gifts done. I have to stop by Pier One though & get a few more ornaments for little filler gifts for my extended family, etc...You said you're done with your shopping now?

i am almost finished. i have a few more for dh, but i am picking those up on thursday and friday. hunt is all done except stocking stuffers which are easy. we just had our lunch and someone brought fresh fruit so i had alot of pineapple!!! hopefully it will help :)

Good morning! Sounds like you had a fun office party yesterday. We had one too, it was cool b/c we got to leave early, so I bought a few more small gifts for extended family. Then last night my mom called & the family Christmas party has been cancelled. My cousin shattered her wrist & is having surgery on it today. Ouch. And ironically, it's her b-day today too. Not fun. How's the jeep? Any word yet on that?

no not yet. my dad hasnt really looked at it yet. i am praying that it is something small. i have such a bad sore throat today:( i think i am going to have a culture. i am scared that it may be strep since hunt had it a couple of weeks ago. it would be nice to catch it before itgot really bad. thats nice that you got to finish up yesterday. i will be doing that tomorrow afternoon on my lunch break i have a feeling... nthing like waiting till the last min. lol

Hi. Sorry you're not feeling well. Yeah, with Hunter's brush with Strep, you should definitely get the culture done. I'd think though that if you were going to catch it from Hunter you would've got sick earlier, I didn't think the incubation period for strep was that long. Germs are funny things though. Are you borrowing a car from your parents? Or are you carpooling with your DH?

i just called the doctor and she said i could come in tomorrow and have a culture done. i need to have lab work done at the same time so its actually a good thing. yes i still have my dads explorer. thank goodness he lets me use it. i actually like it better then my jeep :)

:) Maybe you could trade then, just keep the Explorer. Ha, ha, ha. That's good that they can work you in tomorrow. If it is indeed strep, you definitely want to catch it early. Last year, my friend's daughter had strep that had morphed into Scarlet Fever. I didn't even know that was around anymore. I think that's highly unusual though. Nothing to worry about.

i used to have strep so much when i was little that they put me on meds for 6 months straight. it seems that me and my sister kept passing it back and forth. i have had scarlet fever 2 times. i havent had strep since i had my tonsils out 12 years ago. but with both my parents having it and hunter i just want to make sure. what are you going to do with all those days off?

I guess Scarlet Fever isn't as unusual as I thought then. I'm lucky, I don't really get strep throat. My weakness is upper respitory stuff though, I get bronchitis &/or pneumonia once or twice per Winter. I'm not sure what I'll do with my time off. Probably start organizing the house a little bit, hitting those after X-Mas sales, a good friend from out of town will be in Dayton next week so I'll try to get together some with her. A little of everything, & a lot of nothing, I guess. :)

well that sounds like alot of fun. take the time and relax. i love the holidays and always get a little sad when they are over. it will be nice to unwind for alittle esp after your next iui. when is your next u/s? you are scheduled for the iui on the 27th?

I'm not sure when my IUI will be. I'm guessing it'll be on the 27th though. I have a u/s tomorrow, & based on past performance my dr expects I'll probably need another u/s on Monday, which is why I'm thinking I'll end up doing the procedure on Wednesday. That probably would be a good idea to go home afterwards & keep my feet propped up, watch TV & feel guilt free.

i feel much better today and guess what??? scott tried my jeep this morning and it started so its not the engine!!! they are still going to look at it before i start driving it again but i am SO excited that it is not the engine!!!!

Good morning. I'm so glad you're feeling better today. And that's great news about the jeep, too. Still, it's good though that your dad is still going to look at it though before you drive it again. Engine problems are too expensive to fix, usually. That's why I have my new Saturn now. I had a Toyota Carolla with under 90,000 miles & the engine was totally destroyed, metal all over the inside they said. So we said forget it, & bought a new car instead. So, what a relief for you that the issue isn't the engine. Well, I have good news too. I have 2 follies this time, on my left side so now I know my left ovary works too. They're both 11 mms, so I come back Monday for another u/s & I'll most likely trigger that night and do the IUI on Wednesday. I forgot to ask about the Estrogen patches though, so I left a message asking when I should put them on. Now I just have to wait for his call back.

thats GREAT news!!! what size are they normally at this point? i am SO happy for you!! that is double the chances this month!!! plus with the patches added on :) i am so excited for you. i had a couple of O
PK's left so i did another one last night justto see what it said and there was only 1 line. so i guess i really did O this time. i cant wait to see what the progesterone test says this month.
