Hannah--OMG--I see Dr. Nackley as well. I go to the Bedford clinic! That's crazy!!! My treatments so far have been good, and I have responded well but our main issue now is with my hubby's count and motility :( If this cycle doesn't work for us, then we are moving on to IVF this summer. We're not going to use the Center though for our IVF because there is another clinic in the area that does it for $4,800 a cycle and has a better success rate than the CRA. Wishing you all the best! I pray this cycle will take, but my hubby's counts were only 2 mil this last IUI. When I heard our counts at our IUI, I pretty much gave up on this cycle all together. I'm just trying to prepare myself for moving on!

STACI, wow, small world. I really like Dr. Nackley, but since I live near Frisco I only see her half of the time. I see Dr. Rehman more. I actually like both of them. My first cycle with Dr. Nackley worked back in December, but it didn't sustain past 5 days. Our last cycle didn't work, so I'm hoping this one does. I'm not sure what the next step will be if it doesn't work. Trying to think positive that this is the month. Don't worry about your husband's sperm count. It is still possible....Only need one to make it work. So will you continue with these cycle until the summer if you have to go to IVF? Do you mind me asking what clinic you are planning on using for your IVF? I go back in tomorrow to Frisco for my 2nd IUI and will start Progesterone shots and baby aspirin there after. What are you doing to get your minds off of things?

hi ladies - this is where it should hopefully start getting interesting for many of us! i am 7dpo/iui. not really feeling anything but did have a sharp pain that woke me this am around 5:00. however i am trying not to think too much about every odd cramp because last month i was convinced i had implantation cramps and it turned out it must have just been a spot of indigestion!!! from what i've read, something like 80% of implantations take place on cd8. i am wearing white knickers for the next week in the possibility of any implantation bleeding. (though i never had it in my two failed pregnancies.) jg - like you, i took clomid cd2-6, which is what my dr prefers. i read something about eggs potentially being healthier earlier in the cycle. i took it at night to avoid symptoms and only had some minor episodes of feeling flushed/anxious.

Good Morning Girlies! Staci and Hannah, I'm a Texas gal as well...but I'm in Houston! Stacitx, Don't worry about your DH's count...it only takes one!!! I am 10 dpo/IUI...and the wait is killing me. I had a sharp pain on Friday night at dinner, and then last night had cramping that felt like a mixture of hunger/running cramps. chandellina, I am the same way, I keep looking for imp. bleeding as a sign...even if i got it, I would probably still be scared it was AF early! I am still taking progesterone supp...LOVE 'EM! :)~ J/K Well this is the week we start our BFPs! Who is first to test? I am testing Saturday! I really hope this is it...b/c all natural next month! Has anyone else gained weight from clomid? I have not heard anyone talk about it! I have gained 10 lbs...and I am about to die! Hi Everyone! LEAH, I have heard other women talk about having vivid dreams of their baby that month, and they fell pregoo... that would be great! Although I have not had any that I recall :0( I have been having terrible dreams, more like things I worry about unconsiously on a weekly basis that come to life in my dreams... Ok, don't know if that made sense but I am rooting for you!!! Welcome STACTIX! No one will mind at all if you join, were all here to help/listen/root each other on. I understand about the let downs, turning to just another friend, relative, co-worker getting pregnant so easy, I think we've all been there BUT we just have to remember that god has a plan for all of us and unfortunately, we are being challenged a little bit BUT I also believe that it will happen for all of us soon. Knowing that your friend's dh count was lower should now give you great hope, because it happened for them so it is so possible for it to happen to you too! HANNAH, hopefully all went well w/ your IUI today! Did they confirm ovualtion? STACITX, I can't believe that this other place you mentioned only charges just over $4,000 for IVF! That is wonderful!! I've never heard of such a fair rate. JG, glad I made you smile :0) Yes, my "nips" are doing much better, still sore but at least they don't feel like their being pulled to the ground (kind of ridicilious when you only a B cup)!haha It would be nice if it were a prego sign but I'm thinking it's probably due to the HCG shot. JG, curious when is it that you typically ovulate? Thinking you would not need an HCG shot if you were early to ovulate, is that correct? CHANDELLINA, we are on the same day I think... One more question.... I've asked this before but don't recall anyone responding. I want to know when you start counting day 1 as your 2ww? I have been told the day following HCG shot is day 1 (so the 1st day would also be the day of my 1st IUI). Please let me know I am curious as to what your told.

Hey Guys,,,, good to hear all your stories of how your doing... Addie we test on the same day at least we can hold hands....... I think ihave had preg symptoms but it could be AF symptoms too i guess... Yesterday night and the night before i got funny twinges on my right side down below not normal tummy ache or anything it was weird .... hopeing implantation ;) also this mornign i woke and my boobs are really soar and a bit swollen (i think) --- could be imagination haha...... but no veins showing or anything... i am thinking of using an HPT Thurs or Friday mornign what you think???

depending on the above answer i am either 10dpo or 11dpo hmmmmm the waiting is killign me... I am having a good feeling about this month i soo hope i am right

Staci, Welcome to the group. I am not from Texas (wish I was) but I can totally relate to your situation. I am a teachers as well and DH is in a great business and it's great but it doesn't make everything all right, so I empathize! My DH's counts are low as well. He has been taking supplemtnts as well since the first and the first he had 6 mil motiltiy after the wash and this time it was only two. My 2ww is over and we won;t be trying again for some time because I have to switch doctors and the appt is not until March 29th and then we have to wait for blood tests and such. Anyway, good luck to everyone who is testing this week. Even though I'm not on the cycle I wawnt to keep in tune with what everyone is doing.

addie - YES i did gain weight from clomid. annoying. about 5-7 pounds i'd say. i went on this serious diet in january/february after all my clothes stopped fitting and shifted most of it but then i think the menopur may have contributed to putting it back on because it seemed to creep back in like a week! it may have also had something to do with my recent out of control snacking on crunchy nut clusters cereal (which i now call crunchy crack clusters)! Chele - no one told me i was officially 1dpo the day after my IUI but that is my own reckoning because my temp rose the day after and that implied i ovulated on the day of the IUI.

Hey girls, thanks for taking me in! As for the question about how many days past O you are, I would count from the first day after your last IUI for when ovulation occured. That is how my RE counts it. But then they have me come in for a sono the day after to confirm ovulation as well. If you are using OPK's then you count from the day when you stopped getting a postive. I hope this answers y'alls question! I'm now 6 DPO, and wish I was 12 so I could test! LOL This wait stinks!! Hannah--if this cycle fails then we are stopping all treatment and saving up for IVF this summer. I have considered going back to taking clomid without monitoring, considering I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own. I took it without monitoring from my OB for a good long time before going to an RE and never had problems. If I do the clomid, then that would at least give us a couple of chances to try on our own again until we do the IVF. As for where we will do our IVF, it's called Advanced Reproductive Care Center of Irving. It's in Las Colinas. The clinic where we will do our IVF believes that suppositories are better, so I'm relieved I won't have to do the prog, shots! Those look like they would hurt really bad! oh, just wanted to ask too about those on the progesterone supplements - is that just standard practice with your doctors? mine says i should take them once i get a bfp because i have had a low progesterone reading previously and did miscarry twice as well - but he said there was no need during the two week wait. ???

CHELE, I have to go with Staci's answer on when you are 1dpo. We have the same doctor so I can't deviate. I confirmed ovulation today during my IUI. I think I normally O at 40-48 hours after my trigger shot. Staci, I took the suppositories for my last two cycles and they made me bleed. Last month, she had me start the suppositories the day after O and I started bleeding two days later until they confirm I was not pregnant. So to save me the headache, I asked her if I could move to the shots and she said yes. I was constantly calling into the office because of the bleeding. Yeah my fear is that it is going t hurt, but I figure for this cycle, I would rather try it and see if it will prevent me from going insane with the early bleeding. I'll have to check out the IVF site. CHANDELLINA, the reason my doctor has me on progesterone is because in December we did conceive and my progesterone was really low, so to rule out the possibility that we couldn't sustain the pregancy due to low progesterone, my doctor has me start them right after ovulation. Officially 1DPO with Beta Test scheduled for March 30th.

I have to agree, I count days starting day 1 with the day after my IUI. Jas, do you think you are gonna try and test early? Are you on the HCG shot? I take it in two cycles one to trigger and one a week after. I am not gonna test early b/c the hcg may still be in my system. It's up to you...In the past I have always hated testing early b/c I give up hope when I get BFN...at least I have hope a few more days...:)~ Chandellina, I hate the weight I have gained on clomid! That's one of the reasons this is my last medicated month for a while...I miss my body and I menatally need a break from it all! Although getting a BFP this month would be wonderful and not fitting into my clothes would be the least of my concerns! I have a question...Does anyone know if Clomid stays in your system? For instance, this is my last month on clomid for a while...so will it be in my system still for next month? Not sure if ya'll know...Oh and Chandellina, My Dr. started me on progesterone supp once I started IUI. I start 2 days after IUI, and I continue until 13dpo...then either AF comes or if I get BFP she tells me to continue with them...Ooooooohhhhh, While i'm typing this I got a pinching pain in my left nipple! Sign? I hope so...It's so nice to talk to you ladies about our every twinge, gas bubble, headache, etc. All our fertile friends would never understand. I'm glad I have ya'll to vent to and talk about crazy stuff! I wish we could all have a girls night out and meet in person! Wouldn't that be fun? Anyway...Have a good rest of your day!
