Hi girls! Well, I stiil have really bad lower pubic area pains, so decided to call RE and we came to the conclusion that I have a UTI. It sucks, but they called in some antibiotics (safe ones) and I'm starting to feel a little better...I hope that's what it is. I wonder how that happened??? Chele you said that you have had the same pain, maybe it's because our ovaries are the size of watermelons? I don't want to be on meds if it isn't a uti. JG, I'm sorry your feeling down, I think of you often because you are always so positive and helpful for everyone here, and I am sad that you are down, I was so hoping for good news for you. I hope you feel better. Looks like there are a few of us who will be wishing these next couple of days away... I live in NY 1.5 hours up from NYC and we are having an AF of a blizzard. 2 feet-It's crazy! I figure I'll spend tomorrow out sleding with my little family, that should be a good time. I love to see my little girl happy and she loves the snow. Hey JG, her name is Sydney, is that the part of Australia you live in? Ok, well I guess I have rambled enough for one night. TATA...

Well AF has arrived full force. Sigh. Try again I guess. I've got my clomid so I'll be taking them again tomorrow. Good luck everyone - I hope you all get great news!

Hi girls! It sounds like a bunch of us are on the same boat just waiting for a positive test. Leahb5-Bravelle was fine. I stimulated 2 good sized follies, one on each side. The It made me super bloated and gave me bubble-guts and as soon as my husband gave me the HCG shot my boobs got sore and my nipples raw. One thing after another eh girls? Now, bring on the prego sickness i'm ready. I will cross my fingers and toes for all of you girls also. It is nice to vent with girls going through the same thing. You are all great. Keep in touch...i want to hear how our tests go. I feel it is a good month for all of us.

Hey Ladies! Today is 8 dp IUI for me...don't feel any different. It will be crazy if I am not preggo this month...had 3 large follies that should have produced eggs and 368 mill sperm after wash. I wish there was some magical feeling we would get after conception...I hate waiting! I am not supposed to test until next Sat. b/c of the HCG shot. I am going to probably test Friday...if it's BFP I won't get my hopes up intil a BFP on Sat. If its BFN, then it will probably be BFN Sat. as well. I hope we all get BFP's this month. This is officially my last month on fertility drugs , IUI, etc. I need a break! I hoep this is the month, b/c I don't wanna take a break, but it is much needed! How's everyone feeling? jg...Sorry about you BFN...keep your chin up...it will eventually happen to all of us!!! I did however have a sharp quick pain last night at dinner...had to hold my side. Didn't want to make a big deal about it b/c I was at my Dad's house, and my step-mom pats my tummy good-bye every month...so she woulda made a scene about it! Not even sure what implantation feels like, b/c I have never been preggo. I always think I have it, but of course it never is. Has anyone had TRUE implantation cramps? What does it feel like? I really wish I would have imp. bleeding, b/c then I would know for sure!!! Counting the days... Have a good weekend girls! Baby dust to all of you!!! :::::~::::::~::::::~::::::~

Hey Gals, Lots going on and will be happening. JG, sorry about AF coming on. I wish you luck next month. CHELE, my ultrasound went well. We have one mature follicle and my IUI will be tomorrow. I'm actually very excited about it. I feel confident that this is everyone's month to come. If the egg hasn't released by the time I perform my IUI tomorrow then I will have one more IUI on Monday for safe measure. What days is everyone testing? I will have my blood work done on March 30 to check for pregnancy. I didn't buy any tests this months, so I will be forced to wait until then to test.

Just a question, if you're taking clomid, what time of day do you take it? I took in in the morning last month, but I am going to take it of an evening this time (1st tablet - day 2-6 - tonight). I am hoping that the side effects - hot flashes and dizziness - will be reduced through the day if I take it at night. I'd be interested to know when you take it. :-) Also, what cycle days do you take it?

chele - March 18

Hi girls, me and my sore nips are checking in! LOL :0) No seriously, today is a better day.... Wow alot has been going on here... EKOORB, how do they know for sure it's an UTI without tests? Nope, they did a u/s and checked the ovariese everything seems to be normal so why the pains, not sure. They've pretty much subsided now. I have followed CNN watching the winter storms you are getting and ooh it sounds like something we here in Michigan would get! JG, again I am so sorry... I really thought that this may be your month :0( WHITEY, maybe that's what has given me the extremely tender nipples (the HCG shot)... KEYA, I hope everything is ok??? Remember ADDIE, think positive... it will happen for you. Implantation cramps...nope never had them but then again, I have not been preggo yet.. sorry, can't help with that one. HANNAH, I must ask where are you from? Reason being I had to reread your comment because I was confused w/ the day's.... the post shows up for me as being Sunday and your note said IUI tomorrow (which would be Monday), but then it goes on to say if "O" has not occured you will go in again on Monday.... I'm thinking you must be somewhere where the time zone is very different.. So if this is true, then I believe you went in today for your IUI, correct? If so, I hope all went well for you! JG, I am not on Clomid anymore but when I did (7 months) I took it around 6p.m. each night... Never made me feel sick but I did get the night sweats bad as well as just hot flashes during the day. Good luck to everyone!!! Lots of Baby Dust coming your way!!!

I hope you all don't mind me joining the group. I too am in the IUI 2 ww. I'm 5 dpo and I'm scheduled to go back in for my beta preg test a week from today on Sun,the 25th. This wait has definitely been dragging for me. I just want to know now if it worked or not so I can move on. My hopes aren't up too much because my hubby's counts were really low this time only 2.3 mil :( When the nurse came in and told us those numbers, I was so devasted that I started to cry. My hubby is on all kinds of supplements to help his low counts and motility and his counts had gone up to 17 mil. with our last IUI, so I was expecting them to have only gotten better this go around. I think what really hurt us was he getting sick at the beginning of this cycle. But what can ya do, but hope, pray, and wait 2 wks for the results? Ya know! My hopes have increased some in the last couple of days, because my friend and her husband had an IUI done on the 25th of last month, and his counts were only 2 mil and she just found out she's pregnant!! So there's hope! I'm wishing you all the best. I know how hard this whole infertility struggle can be. My hubby and I have been trying for 2 yrs and 3 months now. We have two strikes against us, I have PCOS and he has low counts and motility. This was our first cycle to use injectables, Gonal-f along with IUI! The other rounds have either been just clomid or clomid with IUI. The longer it takes us to get pregnant the more I notice other couples with mutiple children and think to myself, "Man I wonder what it would be like to have pregnancy and children come so easily?" Do any of you ever wonder or feel that way too? But I guess we all have our struggles in life, mine is my weight and infertilty. I do have a lot ot be thankful for. I never struggled with getting a degree, or finding a teaching job. I have a wonderful husband and a great marriage and we are financially secure. Thank goodness seeing how infertility ain't cheap when your insurance doesn't cover it. LOL But... much as I am blessed there are times I just can't help but get down-hearted about what I don't have...a child and how hard it has been to achieve that dream! Thank you all for letting me vent and being here for support and understanding! Baby dust to all and JG I'm really sorry for your BFN! Big ((hugs)) and keep that chin up! We're all here for you and can empathize completely!! You're turn will come!!

CHELE, I live in Texas. I posted the message yesterday around 10pm. Yes I did go in for an IUI today and when we did the sono, it still showed that the follicle was intact. So I will be back in tomorrow morning to perform a 2nd IUI<Just in case> and another sono to see if the egg has released. Right now I feel slight ovulation cramps. So hopefully we will find a colapsed follicle. JG, I take clomid in the evenings. I still get hotflashes regardless of when I take the meds. However, I don't get the headaches when I take it in the evenings. I also take it days 3-7. LEAH, I think your one of the first to start testing. I hope you get your BFP. Since I haven't O I am not in the 2ww just yet.

Stacitx - March 18

Hannah--I live in Texas as well!! Which part? I live in Fort Worth! Wishing you the best!!

Hannah B - March 18

STACITX, I live in Allen, Texas. I currently see Dr. Nackley at the Center for Assisted Reproduction in Bedford/Frisco. Who do you see? How has your treatments been?

Stacitx - March 19

Hannah--OMG--I see Dr. Nackley as well. I go to the Bedford clinic! That's crazy!!! My treatments so far have been good, and I have responded well but our main issue now is with my hubby's count and motility :( If this cycle doesn't work for us, then we are moving on to IVF this summer. We're not going to use the Center though for our IVF because there is another clinic in the area that does it for $4,800 a cycle and has a better success rate than the CRA. Wishing you all the best! I pray this cycle will take, but my hubby's counts were only 2 mil this last IUI. When I heard our counts at our IUI, I pretty much gave up on this cycle all together. I'm just trying to prepare myself for moving on!
