Is anyone else struggling with unwelcome weight gain while going through infertility treatments? I'm currently on Clomid w/ IUI and it feels like I'm bloated and chubby all of the sudden. I've been trying to eat healthy, but struggling given the stressful nature of treatment... Anyone else struggling?

I'm with you, I've gained 20lbs since starting injectables last May. I know I'm eating healthy, I'm not getting all the exercise I should, do to being tired all the time. But I'd rather gain the weight and have a baby then be skinny with no baby!!! Good luck to everyone. Cindy

Oh so glad I'm not alone with the weight gain monster! Three months on clomid and I've gained 5 lbs. Its all water retention I feel bloated. I started drinking 2tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with 1tsp honey, and a cup of cold water and then I droped 4 of those lbs in two days. All water retention! Yikes.

Thanks, girls! I feel so much better knowing that I'm not the only one struggling. The biggest problem is that I think I "deserve" to eat treats because of what I'm going through... As in: Since I am going through this emotional roller coaster, I deserve an ice cream sundae... for lunch. Then I'm surprised when I've put on 10 lbs. I don't usually stress about my weight, but lately I just feel so bloated and chubby... adds to the stress of it all. ho hum.

I've gained weight as well. Hubby and I laugh about it. I'm a small person anyway so any amount of gains is SO noticable. I refer to my enlarged belly as the "baby house" and say all the gains are for the baby house. It's now becoming more like a baby mansion :-) All for a great cause ladies.....we will all be preggers soon so it won't matter :-)
