You probably put too much urine on it if the ink was all smeared. 3 seconds in urine stream and 15 in a cup. Try the cup thing, it seems to work better. Everybody pees at a different speed, maybe it's getting too much on it. My monitor never showed a peak this month. I had a 29 day cycle, finally normal. So hopefully it will work next month, alot of people get peaks and they get pregnant, maybe we all aren't doing something right. I does take 3 cycles to get used to you, so maybe that is it.

I do use the cup method when testing. Peeing on a stick just takes too much coordination! :-) I got another +opk yesterday afternoon and this morning, so it's definitely "o" time soon. So I don't think that the monitor necessarily missed my peak this month, but just asked me to test way too early for a 38-40 day cycle. It's been 2 long cycles in a row now on the monitor. I hoping next month I'll be pregnant and not need it, but if not, I'm hoping that the monitor will figure out to not have me start testing until about a week later. Good luck!!!

Good morning, On CD 23 and never did show the peak, although my other OPK picked it up along the many other symptoms I really am sure I ovulated. Very disappointed in the monitor. Anyhow, 10 more days and we'll see what happened. Hope you are well,

How are you all doing with your monitors? Any updates?

lovemy3, your monitor was the used one right that they reset? Mabe it has something to do w/ that and that is why it never showed you your peak. Give it another month and see what it does. Because you didn't get a peak, it will probably have you test w/ the 20 sticks again. Good luck and I hope everything works for you.

Hi there, My monitor was the used one, but with the helpline they set it back to the original "factory state" so it would not have any previous memory. I decided to give it back to my friend and am going to go with the regular OPK's I think. I am on CD29 with no af yet. It should either be 28, 29 , 30 or the very latest 31. I will keep you posted. That would be ironic if I got pregnant and showed "no peak"-lol. Anyhow, hope you are doing well, what CD are you on? I'll keep you posted on what happens in the next week. I am 37 yrs old and have been ttc#4, for this would be our 6 cycle. With my other kids it happened right away with all of them, so I am finding this very frustrating and suspect I may be in the onset of menopause because my mom was by this point in her llife as well. ttyl

My monitor did show peak either. I'm on CD10 now and it's low right now. I'm hopeing that I'll get a peak this month. I don't know what went on, there is alot of women that get peaks all the time, so I don't know. I guess alot of things can go wrong with the test sticks and the monitor if you don't keep it in good conditions and temps. They say not to store you monitor in the bathroom because the moisture can get into it an ruin it and your supposed to store the test sticks at a certain temp. Maybe we did something wrong. I keep my monitor in it's original box in the cupboard. I've left it in the bathroom before. So maybe it got ruined. I don't know. If it doesn't work the next few cycles then I probably will try and sell it.

Hi there, I'm on CD3, ended up with af again. I gave my monitor back and am going to stick with OPK as it always shows surge on cd18, can't get my head around spending $60 (canadian) on the monitor sticks only to spend another 40 on the opk to back it up. lets hope this month is better, take care
