HI there, my test stick this a.m looked just like that. I'm on cd16 and still showing "high" since cd12. Like I said before thugh I'm waiting till the cd2o0, before I throw in the towel, because it usually cd20. If it never shows a peak, I will suspect though because in the past tghe opks always register a surge. So we'll see. I think the planning of wedding etc could definately delay ovulation. I think part of the reason I did n't conc. last month and hbad a weird af was because I was painting our home and was over tired and out of sorts. keep me posted!! ttyl

Yeah and I just started taking FertilAID last month and I haven't gone through my 1st bottle yet. So everything might be changing itself in my body, so hopefully next month it will be a little more uncomplicated. Thanks lovemy3!!!

Hi there, CD17, still "high" since cd12, bd this a.m anyhow. What is fertilAID? Could that be affecting your hormones in your urine? ttyl

Nevermind....just read your post on FertAID, answered my question. was interesting to read about the HSG test. I have had 3 c-sections, maybe that is my problem this time around....scar tissue in the tubes, not to mention I'm 37. ttyl.

hi, have you girls ovulated yet? threee months ago, i had a cycle where i had a high from day 12 and i didn't get a peak until day 22 and i def o'd on that day according to my charts as well - so hang in there, there is still hope

I'm on cd19 and would have bet my life i o'd yesterday but monitor still says "high" This a.m I went out and bought First REsponse Ov. Pred. kit of 5 tests and there is a definite, definate clear as a bell surge. So much for my monitor? I will be very interrested in seeing tomorrow a.m's reading. If it doesn't say "peak", that won't be good. I read some other posts about them, and some women said they concieved on cycles where it never ever showed a "peak". What do you girls think? I'll let you know tomorrow what it says. ttyl

I would say if the one test is showing peak then your monitor should show peak as well. If you peaked during the day that may be why the other one picked it up and not the monitor....so you will probably see your monitor peak tomorrow....you will know you peaked by the lines on your test sticks...the one that is barely there gets darker and the one that is darker gets lighter...good luck...that is why the monitor shows you high days, so you bd leading up to O since how you are testing w/ your morning urine and the surge may occur during the day and won't be detected until the next day.

do you temp as well? i think that's a good way to find out if you have already ovulated or not, the monitor always corresponds with my charts. i temp just because i need to make sure that i do ovulate as even if you get the LH surge and a peak it doesnt necessarily mean that you actually ovulate as well just to make matters worse!! you'd think after you spend all that money it should make your life much easier!

Good morning. Well, still no peak on the monitor. CD 20 and still "high". Tested with another OPK this a.m and very obvious surge. All the o'ing symptoms, heavy cm and lighter cramps now. We Bd last night and this a.m. It is my first month with the monitor, so maybe thats the problem. I don't think the OPK would be false positive would it? How do you temp, I think if its not this month I will next month. How do you do that properly? Thanks so much.

P.S The trst strip from the monitor shows 2 lines the same colour exactly?

Hi there...the surge saga continues- lol. Just tested this afternoon using the regular OPK and my surge line is beginning to fade and getting less cm. I think monitor missed it for sure.

I really don't know, I'm on CD29 and I'm done testing with the monitor, considering it only lets you test 20 test sticks in a cycle. I am going to start my period, I'm getting the spotting, but I was on FertilAID for the first time this cycle, so my body is changing. I am actually having a short cycle, usually it's anywhere from 32 to 38 days, sometimes more. The funny thing is, I've tried not to stress myself out over things, so I think that helped out alot. But next month is going to be stressful, I have to go to Las Vegas at the end of October and I am scared to death to fly on an airplane, I hate heights!!!!! So I don't think we will be successful next month either with all the stress. I'm going to try not to think about it, but it will be hard. Good luck to all you girls this month.

Hi. I posted last month with my monitor experience. The monitor never showed a peak, but the opk's definitely did. Well, I still never got a peak this month, but I'm still looking for one on the opk's also. I would have bet my life that I would have gotten a positive opk this morning based on all the cm yesterday, but I haven't yet. Does anyone know how likely it is that an opk missed a surge? Who knows: I may still get one tomorrow, but my symptoms were very strong yesterday. And right now the monitor is pretty much useless to me. My cycles are around 38 days, and I can't understand why the monitor still asked me to test starting at day 6! And has anyone noticed that when you test with 20 sticks and they never show a peak, that the last test day always goes back down to low? It's like it isn't even reading that test and just assuming that your chances are over for the cycle. At this point, I'm not putting too much faith into the monitor, and am relying more on the regular opk's. God luck to you!!!

Hi there, CD21 and still NO peak on monitor. Regular OPK surge has now gone. I really beilieve monitor missed it. So thats all the news here. My luteal phase is only ever 11-12 days so it won't be a long wait for af. Maybe it won't arrive this month with a lot of prayer. Hope you are all well XOXO

I think that I got a positive opk this morning. The funny part is: I also tested on one of the monitor sticks, just to see what it would look like. The first line closest to the end was all smeared and blurred, like a blob of ink, but the second line was there. Is that a positive? Or just a messed up test? It makes me wonder if all the tests this pack have been faulty. Hmmm. Well, good luck you guys.

kare21162 - September 17

You probably put too much urine on it if the ink was all smeared. 3 seconds in urine stream and 15 in a cup. Try the cup thing, it seems to work better. Everybody pees at a different speed, maybe it's getting too much on it. My monitor never showed a peak this month. I had a 29 day cycle, finally normal. So hopefully it will work next month, alot of people get peaks and they get pregnant, maybe we all aren't doing something right. I does take 3 cycles to get used to you, so maybe that is it.
