Hello there,
I took four injections of Lupron and before finishing the treatment I decided to stop ( I needed six injections). It has been one month since my last injection and I do not have my period. I am very concerned with it. I am trying to get pregnant and the uncertainty is killing me. Can I still ovulate or get pregnant without having my period?

Hi, Erica. I'm not sure about the ovulating or getting pregnant. I wish I knew. Are you still seeing your doctor?

please help me:
i am experiencing pain in pelvic area after passing urine ..it last for few seconds to minutes.it happens after my ovulation like starts from day 20 to the day i get menses.I took clomid 3 cycles..is that the reason? I am ttc 12 mths have high prolactin level also.But cramping before menses is making me worried that could be because of endometriosis ...please help me..is that the symptom

AISH, I am not even going to pretend to be a Dr. here, but I knew my endo was back when I had a BM and it would make me cry. However, mine was only around my period. My suggestion is that no pain is good. Please get yourself checked out! Hi, BJ! Today is 11 weeks after my last Lupron shot and still nothing. Looks like I'll probably be going to see my Dr. in 2 weeks if something doesn't happen before then. How are things with you? Have you started yet? I hope all is well with you and the rest of the ladies here!

Hi, jla!! Well, good news.....I started yesterday. I've never been so glad to start in all my life. It's been 8 weeks since my last shot, so I would definately talk to your doctor. I can't believe he hasn't put you on anything to get you regular knowing you are wanting to get pregnant. I almost hated getting on here letting you know I started. I'm praying you start VERY soon. I know I haven't missed this period thing AT ALL!!! Let me know what your doctor says. JOY, how is your grandma? How are you doing? You girls are in my prayers.

hi everyone, i am so new to all of this! I just had my second lupron shot, a 3 month injection! Has anyone experienced constant headaches??

Sorry, nikki, I didn't really experience that. How many more shots do you have to have?

bj, I had a one month and then I just had a 3 month injection in march...so I have 2 more to go (June & July). I just started taking the add-back and it has helped a bit. Headaches, hot flashes & nausea are the only symptoms I am having. Headaches are in the back of my head at the neck. I just hope it's all worth it in the end!! :) How many more do you have? Does it get any better?

I'm actually finished with my shots and have recently started. I have to call my doctor today, but he gave us the green light to start trying again. Yeaaaaaa!!!!!

I really didn't have bad symptoms with the lupron. My hot flashes didn't really start until the 4th shot, so I was very blessed. Does your doctor have you taking vitamins or anything?

I have been taking a pre-natal vitamin for a couple of years now. He just called in an RX of add-back therapy, it seems to be helping a little. Were you taking the shots for endo? What stage? Do you think it is all gone?

Yea, I had stage 4 endo. When I start my next period, I'm supposed to call my doctor to schedule another HSG. (You know, the dye test) I'm not looking forward to that, but it will be worth it. He wants to make sure my tubes are clear. He seems pretty optimistic, so that makes me feel good. He's going to give us until August to get pregnant on our own. If I'm not pregnant by then, we'll talk about what to do next. But......I'll be pregnant by then. I'm trying to stay positive, so my faith will be high. Do you have endo?

yes, I had a laparotomy in january- I had 2 cysts and he also discovered stage 4 endo which suprised us both because I had no symptoms of it...other than the infertility. From what I have read, endo has caused some people alot of pain...I had none. He said he got most of it out but I needed the lupron to clear the rest of it off my ovaries so I could get pregnant. I take the last shot at the end of July, so I am hoping to get pregnant by the end of the year on my own. I was on Clomid for 5 months before the surgery, so I am just looking forward to a break without any hormonal medication....I want to be sane for just a little bit!! :) The internet is a scary place when looking up reactions of Lupron. My doctor told me to quit looking on the net but that's the only resource I have. I'm glad to hear some positive feedback.

Hi, this is my first time here. I've just completed 3 shots of Lupron and it has been 7weeks since my last shot. Really looking forward to my period and trying for a baby. I've has my laparoscopy done in Dec 2005 and yes i've got all those symtoms like hot flushes etc. Felt so encouraged after reading court's experience. Good Luck to all!

Good Luck to you...Sounds like we are in the same place right now, I too am looking forward to my period and getting pregnant. Looking forward to getting off this Lupron and feeling normal again. How has your experience been?
