Well I have been for my u/s and I don't think it is looking too good. My doc was quite neg and decided to take another blood test as well to check FSH. When we checked it is January it was 11 which is a bit high but now she is suspecting that my ovarion reserve is even worse than it was then and the number may go higher. On a positive note the cyst she saw is very small and not a problem and that is not what is causing my lack of af. She is waiting for fsh results and will let me know what options there are. For now she doesn't want me taking clomid, she doesn't think it will do anything for me. I think she is going to tell me my only option is doner eggs and I really don't know how I feel about it. I'm tearing up just thinking about it, if we opt for that procedure, the baby would not have my dna only my husband's and I really wanted the baby to be "ours". I don't know what to think at this point. Trying to stay positive but it does not look like it will happen for me....Sam

Hey Sam - I am so sorry to hear your news. Im not that far along yet, and as we all know there are lots of worries until your finished, so Im with you on how devistating this is. I can tell you something though...my husband and I work together at Methodist Childrens Home, we are "house parents" to 11 teenage boys, we wondered when we started if we could actually "love" someone elses children...you can, and you will, infact they are not someone elses children they are all mine. Im only 30, and caucasian, and I have 11 boys taller than me, some white, some black, some hispanic, it's wild! So my baby will already have brothers...lol...you can do it. If it's the right thing you will know, and it will never feel bad. We don't plan to do this forever, probably until my husband finishes school in 2-3 yrs, but for now it is right. The boys are all very exited about the baby.

Hi Liz, thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I should find out in a couple of days if there is still a chance with my own eggs. My regular gynocologist told me that even older women who choose to use a younger woman's eggs have an 80% of getting pg (I guess as long as you are healthy overall). You and your husband are wonderful people and I'm so glad you are now pg. Sam- I’m so sorry to hear about the u/s didn’t go well. When will you have the blood test result? Sam, please stays strong and positive. Liz and I will be here to support you and be good listeners for you. I agree with Liz, I think you will love your baby at the first time you see her even though she is from your own egg or not. Do you think you should see more doctors? Maybe more options are out there. I’m doing fine here. No symptom at all. Liz- How are you doing?

Im going to be out for a few days, hubby and I work 8on 4off, so were going to turn of technology, and enjoy the 4 days, were going to a little town called San Saba Texas where my husband is from orig, to watch his nephew play tball. Hi Ladies, just thought I would checkin and see if anyone is here. I still have not revcd my b/w results but I was able to bump up my appt from 05Jul to 09May so I can discuss the options with the doc. My husband says he will not be able to take time off work to come with me even though I think he should. We'll have to wait and see. Anyway Liz, I hope you nad your dh had a lovely weekend. Any news from you Kitten whether the bding last weekend worked? I guess it is too soon to tell yet though...lots of baby dust, here's hoping you get your bfp. Liz are you having a lot of symptoms like morning sickness etc?

hey gals, Im back! The only think Im feeling is sleepy, and sore boobs. No other sickness, which I was worried about, then my husband said Liz, we did pray for a fantastic preg, maybe thats what were getting...lol...maybe my throwing up a couple weeks ago was it. I do think Im further along than I orig thought. More like 5 weeks, 6 weeks this Friday. We had a wonderful weekend, I read books about preg, and took alot of naps. I get sooooooooo sleppy, and my stomach eels heavy, is that wierd?? Anyway, Im thankful for feeling good, and for not throwing uo all the time, let me know hoa things are going with you guys.

Hi girls, well I went to the doc today to get the results of the fsh and u/s. She advsd me I have a small cyst which is probably why I did not get af...she sounded a lot more positive today though, she even smiled...lol...anyway, I am going to take b/c pill for 1 month to bring on af and then she wants me to temp and use my 100mg clomid days 3-7 that she already prescribed so make sure I am ovulating. She sugg we do this for 3 months and if it does not work then 3 months of injectibles and iui. After that who knows, I guess egg donor is the only other options...so girls plse pray for me...glad to hear you had a nice weekend Liz...Hey Kitten, where are you and how are you? Sorry girls, I was very busy at work recently. Sam- I think it is good news! Hopefully, your af will come soon and we can start the clomid together. Yes, I got negative result on my pregnancy test yesterday morning; I was so disappointed. Anyways, have to start over again. My bb and lower back are very sore; seems like af is coming soon! I’m going to have another appointment with my ob next week. I think she will increase my clomid dose. Liz- how are you doing? Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Hi Kitten, so glad to here from you. You know with sore back etc., you might still have a chance of being pg if af does not show up. How many dpo were you when you checked yesterday. I think it sometimes does not show a bfp until 10-14 dpo, what do you think Liz? Well there are 3 of us on this thread and we got 1 bfp so far so we just have to keep trying and send each other sticky baby dust all the time! lol...see ya later...Sam

I took my preg test ten days after o and it was neg, but then 14 days after it was positive. So don't give up yet, I also had alot of lower back and pelvic pain, thought I was getting ready to start, I even spotted a little, so don't count all as lost until that 14th day. It will happen girls! It will. I am 6 weeks today, and 14 days away from my u/s, I have a bladder infection, which the doc said is normal, but it feels bad... :( Im taking an antibiotic, and tylenol. Im not having any nausea, or throwing up, just tired, and pee peeing all the time!!

Hey Liz, sorry to hear about your infection but I'm glad the doc can prescribe something to make it go away. You will probably have enough pg related symptons without adding on top of it. Hi Kitten, so what do you think? Could there still be a chance to get a bfp for you this month based on what Liz said? That would be sooo coool! If not I will definitely be with you in the next cycle. At least my doc seems more positive this time so I will keep my fingers crossed (and my eyes if it helps! LOL)...Talk to you soon...Sam

well ladies I had my first nausea last night, for 2 hours, but was unable to throw up...lol...the whole time I kept thanking how thankful I was to be sick on mothers day. I say a prayer for you guys to experience this soon! Let me know how things are going.
