Hi Kitten, glad to hear from you. Sorry the news was not that great this month but clear your mind and look ahead to the next month, it will happen. Anytime you want to talk I'm here for ya! Your husband means well but men don't understand our emotions as much as other women do. Right after I wrote yesterday I checked and af is just starting, not flow though just spotting. I'm supposed to take clomid days 3-7 but I don't think I can count today as day 1 since it really just looks like old af maybe, it's not red...sorry tmi! It's hard to explain these things without getting graphic though, don't ya think! Hey Liz, where are you? Hope you are ok. Let us know how things are for you. Lots of sticky baby dust...Sam

Hey girls, yeah I took a test on the 23 and it was neg. Iwas having really bad lower cramps last night, and my hubby ans I are in the middle of moving into a new house, so Ive been tired. I had spotting last night, and nothing today, so hopefuly AF is coming tomorrow, then I can start 100 of clomid....keep hopeful ladies!

Hi Liz, sorry to here you are cramping but it looks like you and I may be on clomid together, my af has finally started but very slowly since Tues. I can't even start counting day 1 yet since it is not really flowing. I'm a little worried about figuring out what is day 1 etc since I will be taking clomid on day 3. What if I really should be counting as of now and when day 3 starts I will think it is only day 1...have you ever had trouble deciding when af actually starts. i heard day 1 is only when the af flows and is red...sorry if tmi but would like to know what you girls think.
Hi Kitten, going back to your follicle sizes, when doc gave me an u/s on day 3 of my af in Jan they told me I only have 1 follie on each side so this was not great news, also my FSH is 11. It's actually not too bad considering I will be 43 in a couple of days but if I don't get pg on clomid they only recomment donar eggs as an alt option. What do you girls think about that, would you take the donar egg option is there was no other choice. Just curious. My friend who has 2 children said she would because even though the dna would not be mine I was still able to give birth to a child and she does not feel it is the same as adoption...I'm not sure what I think, I'm very confused.

Hey Sam, I have never had a problem knowing when I started, but rt now, I dont know anything for sure. Like last night, I woke up and was spotting, normally that would mean put on a pad/tampon, by tomorrow it's on..lol....but when I woke up, nothing, even when I wipe, all day today nothing, not even a cramp, so I can't be of much hel[p cause Im in the same boat about when did I start?? I did finnaly get someone to listen to me about possible ovulting later than the chart says I do, the nurse is "speaking" with the doctor about me taking my next round days 5-9 instead, and then Im cinfused because now they tell me, well if you feel like you ovulating later then you might have. well ya think??? lol

hey guys! A little news....I got two pos preg tests tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it! I spotted Wed night, called the doc today to get my next RX of clomid filled in case I started over the weekend...called him back tonight, Pregnant! It is a definant pos, but I really think because I o later than they said Im prob only about a week along, so I will call about blood work on Monday, I can't believe it ladies!!! There is hope, even when your told you didn't ovulate!!! Baby dust!

hey Sam and Kitten, this weekend has been a little crazy, first I have strep throat, so I had to find out from the doc what I could take, and let me tell you amoxcillian (sp?) is not strong...lol...so this throat thing spread to my chest, and nose, it was a little miserable trying to sleep. I am feeling great, I get hungary every two hours exactly on the dot. I don't have to eat much a little fills me, but heaven forbid I miss a feeding, my tummy makes lots of noise. I really don't have any other preg syptoms yet, and Im looking foward to them. I have to call the doc office today about when we will have blood work.

Oh my God, Congratulations Liz! Please bring Sam and I some luck too! haha..I had another ultarsound done on last Friday.(It was getting so expensive- $105 per time) According to the ultarsound staff, my biggest egg only was 14. Therefore, my husband and I thought that I wouldn't O this month and we went camping with some friends. The weather was so great this weekend and we had so much fun. While we were camping, my Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor showed that I was O on Sat morning!! It was the frist time the monitor showing the peak since I used it a year ago!!! I was so excited! So, my husband and I went back home and had bd! hahaha...it was so funny, we said good bye to our friends and told them we need to go home and make baby! It seems like that Clomid works after all. I got my first O! Sam- I asked Cherie about my babies too!(last year) She said on Oct. I don't know...I hope this month is our month! Have you guys heard about Chinese Birth Chart? According to the Chart, Liz, you will have a boy!

Hi guys, well still no af for me but it sounds like good times all around with you girls. Hey, Kitten glad you had a fun weekend, I am hoping to hear a positive result from you soon. And Liz I hope you are feeling better, it sounds like the pg is going just the way it should so far. Will you be staying on the metformin throughout the pg now? Well girls, I am officially old, I turned 43 over the weekend and my af still did not come. I contacted my doctor and she said it is unusual not to get af within 2 weeks after finishing Provera. I now have an appt for an u/s on Weds am, she is worried that maybe I have a cyst. I really hope not because all this waiting for af is cutting into the bit of time I have left to get pg. No Kitten, I am still not taking my clomid...I am still waiting for af and very frustrated and a little down about it all. On the positive side my blood sugar numbers are good and where they should be.
All the best ladies, hope you are both doing well. I'm praying Kitten that the little guys broke thru the barrier this time, lol! And Liz if Cherie is right you may have a boy...wow that's fantastic. Talk to y'all soon...Sam

Hey Sam and Kitten - Well I went to the doctor today, and I am preg, 2 wks....so see, I did ovulate, even though the blood work only showed I ovulated a little, so there is always hope... :) Sam don't get disscouraged, I gotta tell you having your sugars under control is an amazing accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself. When you get pregnant, and you will, that will be one less thing to work on. Kitten...yes clomid doers work (u too Sam) and this is going to be your month. I spent all last week lifting all this heavy furniture with my husband, because I though I didn't ovulate. By the way, my first u/s is Mayy 22, and I will find out how many are in there, and hear the heartbeat. Yeah Im gonna take my metformin through the pregnancy, adn the doc thinks I will eventually have to take insilin shots, but Im not going to wirry about that. :) Luck girls!!

Liz, I can't expalin how happy I am for you, I have tears in my eyes...what a blessing. I really think Kitten will get pg too with all that bd this weekend...lol...Liz, if you have to take insulin I can help you with that as I started taking it to try to get pg, I needed to bring my numbers down.

If I have to choose bewteen donar egg or adoption, I will pick the donar egg. The same reason as your friend's. Good luck with your u/s tomorrow. Hope everything well. Liz- I'm so happy for you. How long have you been trying to have a baby? Do you like to have twins? Keep us post with your early pregnancy signs and your 1st u/s. I'm in the waiting game now after all that bd last weekend. Do you guys know when can I have my pregnency test?

You need to wait two weeks after the last day of ovulation according to the doc chart. I took one on the 23rd of April and that was too early. I was preg but it was neg, so wait the 2 wks, I have a good feeling for you!!

Well I have been for my u/s and I don't think it is looking too good. My doc was quite neg and decided to take another blood test as well to check FSH. When we checked it is January it was 11 which is a bit high but now she is suspecting that my ovarion reserve is even worse than it was then and the number may go higher. On a positive note the cyst she saw is very small and not a problem and that is not what is causing my lack of af. She is waiting for fsh results and will let me know what options there are. For now she doesn't want me taking clomid, she doesn't think it will do anything for me. I think she is going to tell me my only option is doner eggs and I really don't know how I feel about it. I'm tearing up just thinking about it, if we opt for that procedure, the baby would not have my dna only my husband's and I really wanted the baby to be "ours". I don't know what to think at this point. Trying to stay positive but it does not look like it will happen for me....Sam
