Good morning!

Destiny2012 – Welcome ? And good luck, maybe you will only need one round of clomid as I know alot of people that only did, I’m on my 2nd round of 50mg, last tablet tonight, yay, then up to a higher dosage if it does not work, but at least I ovulated last month ?

Have a great Friday all!!!

Destiny2012- Welcome! I hope that you don't have to ttc as long as some of us have. Hopefully like Angel said, you will only have to do one round of Clomid. Good luck to you this round :)

My husband and I have been trying for three years now. I just finished my third round of 50mg of Clomid, should start ovulating any day. I am hoping this is the last time I have to take it!! Fingers crossed right??!!

Destiny2012 - welcome and good luck! I hope that one or two months is all you need of clomid to get pregnant!

I just finished my last clomid pill of 150mg on Wednesday and I've been feeling nauseas ever since. I think it's just a result of the higher dosage and I'm hoping it wears off by tomorrow. Tomorrow will be my cd10. I know it's to early to start using opk's but I'm going to anyways. I want to make sure I don't miss my positive test even though I probably won't get it until between Tuesday and Saturday (April 12th - 16th).

OBABY - be sure to let us know when you get your positive opk as were one day apart taking clomid this month so I'm curious to see how closely we 'o'!!

I REALLY freaking hope this is our month!!!anyone of us ladies! We all deserve it! Can't wait to hopefully hear some good news from someone!!

Good morning!

O-baby – I’m so sorry you’ve been trying for 3 years, did you try anything before clomid? That worries me with my age that I might have to try for that long. I cant really afford it :-s

Hopefullysoon – took my last pill on Fri night... And oddly enough had ALOT of nausea over the weekend too, but I’m on 50mg. I was not this bad on the first month. Even thought I was pregnant for a second but then realised after the AF I had there is no way! Today is my CD10... so I’m very close to you ? But since I ovulated only on CD25 last month I’m not gonna start opk’s just yet, cant afford that many, might wait till CD14 to start since I doubt I’ll ovulate before then. Just hoping that CD2 – CD6 will bring my ovulation forward by a few days. I’m pretty sure ovulating that late is a big part of my problem. I also hope its someone’s month this month, even if not mine it will make me so happy and positive to hear one of you are pregnant!

Have a great day all!!!

@ngel - April 11

Sorry all, I'm CD10 tomorrow... bit confused here...

Babymoon - April 11

Destiny, welcome! Wishing you good luck this month!

Cd 25 here nothing happening just waiting waiting!
A little more cm than usual but other than that literally nothing to report. Plus side is that hopefully by sat/sun j will know what's happening and we can look forward to round 3!
Good luck ladies! Hop to hear some good news soon!

@ngel - April 11

Babymoon - I really hope you are pregnant!!! Then you wont need round 3 :)

I just found out we will be away with the "in-laws" on sat night.... sharing a cabin, so no bd'ing there AND its my CD14... now I dont think I've ever ovulated on CD14 so lets hope my body does not decide to make this a first... maybe I should just wake up early and make use of the morning at home on Sat then I dont have to worry about Sat night... just in case :)

Babymoon - April 11

Morning angel
That's what happened to me this month and the reason I'm convinced I'm not pg, had a surge on cd 15 then a darker one cd17 right when we are away with in laws sleeping in one room! Hopefully your body holds out for you!
Feeling very bloated and fat today :( my calcs put af arriving sometime between Thursday and Sunday, so that would explain it! Have a really good feeling about next month, third time lucky right?
On the subject of opk, I think destiny said she can't afford too many, they are really quite pricey! It's costing me almost 30 a month and I usually surge when there is only 1 left, might push back testing this month for a day or two cause I would like to know how long I surge for.

Babymoon - April 11

Sorry that should be darker surge on cd 16 not 17!

hello all, am new on this site and happy to be here, am 31 and hubby is 34 we have been ttc#1 for a year now. Had a m/c 11 weeks and since May been trying. My doc prescribed pregnacare Jan 2011 for two months and changed it when we realised i did not o that month {actually that was my first time opk} She prescribed clomid 50mg cd5-9 i had a surge on cd15 and cd16, bd daily from cd11 till today being cd17. I dont intend to go for blood test to confirm if i i od until during my second round of clomid.

As for side effects of clomid, i suffered excruciating cramps lower left abdomen on cd12 and always have been very thirsty.

TTC can really be frustrating expecially when everybody seemed to get pregnant except you. Its so refreshing finally having a forum where i can share with other girls with similar issues.

hopefullysoon - April 11

Angel - I'm hoping your body holds out for you, and you don't get a positive opk on Saturday! I'm sure even with you doing cd2-6 you'll hold off. I'm hoping so anyways!

Angel and Babymoon - It sucks that you two can't get your opk's any cheaper. $30 a month is a lot! I'm so lucky that I'm able to order them from a site in the usa and get them shipped to me in Canada. I pay $20 and it gives me 40 opks and 10 preg tests. However I do pay $20/month for the pre-seed lubricant. But I'm willing to pay it if it does the trick, and helps us with conceiving!

radiance - WELCOME!! And good luck on your first round of clomid! I really hope the first month works for you so your journey can finally come to an end!

As for me I'm currently on cd12 and patiently waiting for a positive opk. I take two a day because I'm nervous of missing my surge. I do one about 2:30 in the afternoon and another one around 8:30 at night. I know I probably won't get a positive until about Friday but started early because I'm nervous I'll miss it otherwise lol.

I'm going for a pedicure and a massage on Sunday. SO looking forward to a relaxing day. I think it's definitely needed at this point!

Babymoon - April 11

Radiance welcome and good luck this month!!

ttc2 - April 11

Hey hopefullysoon! I heard that while taking clomid that the opk's aren't always accurate. What I have read from all of you the opk's must work. I haven't bought any bc of this but I guess i need to get out & buy it. If i get a positive opk how soon after should we get started? Thanks & I wish the best to all of you!

hopefullysoon - April 11

ttc2 - I have also read that OPK's aren't a gaurantee. But so far they have worked for me and the other girls on here. I still go for a blood test every month on cd22 to confirm ovulation. If you get a positive opk test you want to have sex that day and at least the next day, if not two days following the positive. But when you get a positive opk you can ovulate anywhere up to 48 hours later. So they say do "do it" the day of and the following two days.

I'm not sure where you're located but if you're within canada or the usa you can get them from earlypregnancytests (dot com, I can't actually add that in other wise it doesn't let me post. It won't let you post email address or web sites). Or from opk tests (dot com). And they're WAY cheaper than buying them in the store.

What cycle day are you currently on?
