Good Morning Ladies ... what a pleasant group we have here, don't you all think? Anyway, I'm now on CD 8 ... time is going as slowly as molasses on a cold day ... and it's hard to stay patient. Bluejada.uk ... don't know where you could get a copy in the U.K. (assuming that's where you are :-) ... in Canada it's called Chapters and in the U.S. it's Borders, but any book store will carry it I'm sure. You'll love it! Lately I've been thinking about if I would consider meds or more drastic procedures to get pregnant, I'm not sure if I would, it's difficult because considering I conceived so easily the first time, I often wonder why it's taking so long this time, and I keep reading about the whole age factor, I'm only 32 but I've basically read that you should be finished baby making by this point, which is a bit of a downer, and I'm not even sure if I believe that ... my maternal Grandmother conceived five children between the ages of 41 to 48, with no medical intervention at all - it's strange how our bodies can be so different, but the same. Lately I've been feeling a bit let down by my body, but who knows what this month will bring now that I started charting, I think that I fell into the myth that we all ovulate on the 14th day, which I know now is NOT true. Been considering picking up an OPK, just for extra confirmation, but I've heard good and bad things about them. I think that I'll try anyway :-). Sorry about all the rambling, better get to work now, will check in again tonight, hope that you all have a fabulous day!!!! Baby dust!!!

Hi bluejada.uk! Try this website: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se
arch-handle-form/104-9064115-0511122
.
You can get new or used copied there. Kelly32 try to remember that everyone is different. I don't understand how people can get pregnant without trying. My friend was 3 months pregnant before she knew. And she was trying!! How is that possible??? My MIL would just think of sex and get pregnant. I am not that lucky. I have read everything in the internet and a few books. It all makes sense and for a while my body was acting like it should. I'd read that AF should be 5 days long then that is what happened. Before that AF was 7-10 days for me. Bizarre. I think I am rambling at this point. Anywho... stay positive and tons of babydust.

Hope - March 21

Hi, I know its really hard when people around you seem to fall pregnant just when they think they want to..anyways, i have now accepted the fact that it is easy for some and difficult for some ..and just hope that I also fall pregnant in some time..my opks are still negative. I am on cd13 now and yet to test today. Getting a poistive opk seems as elusive as BFP!:)

I would love to join this group. dh and I have been trying a year. This month was our secound with OPK's but has been terrible confusing. I feel fooled this month as I think I tryed to ovulate early around 11 -12 days into the cycle, had all the signs including positive OPK then dryed up, but then EWM again and wet OPK's still positive. Last cycle was later 15 -16 days into the cycle. My dh goes for his blood tests this coming Thursday. I really hope he is ok and we just have bad timing and a little too much baby making stress. Good luck girls!

Pinky - March 21

kelley32, I am also Day-8 today. (1st-14th march). How long is your cycle? Mine is 31-37 Days. I can see some discharge from yesterday.

kelley32 - March 22

Good Evening Girls!!! So excited to be back, it feels like I`m hanging out with some girlfriends ... even if we can`t be face to face :-). Pinky ... my cycle is pretty average, usually 28 days, but has been as short as 15 days and as long as 35 days, but it`s really rare that it`s not 28-29 maximum, and I started to notice some CM too, finally, but it`s still not that famous egg white CM that we all look for. I think that I dislike the pre-ovulatory phase even more than the 2ww!! LOL!! At least in the 2ww there is a chance that you could be pregnant, instead of just waiting for the big O, then again, maybe it`s not so bad, I have all that bd`ing in a few days to look forward to!!! I really have noticed that I`ve been much more chipper since starting to chart, and this way, if I have to go see a fertility specialist by the time we`ve been TTC for a year, I`ll already have months of charts to show. Well, have the house to myself tonight, so going to have a bubble bath and practice my kegel excercises then settle in to watch American Idol. See you wonderful, sweet, beautiful ladies tomorrow!!!

Samatha - March 22

This is a nice group. Umm just to add on, I am currently on CD 5 and recently bought Taking Charge of your Fertility. It was very informative and I highly recommned it to anyone trying to better understand their body and its processes. I have never been pregnant and was on the Depo Provera shot last year in the summer and am currently TTC. I tried two cycles of Clomid but it dried up my EWCM which in itself can prevent pregnancy because the sperm can not survive without it. I have started charting and checking my cervix for my fertility signs. This cycle, I am just taking prenatal vitamins and vitex. Hopefully this is the month for BFPs. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Maren - March 22

Kelley 32...It took me 8-9 months before I noticed and EWM when I checked for it. It is gradually increasing. I tryed drinking a lot of water this cycle and I think it helped.

Maren - March 22

bluejadaUK and rest, I will let you all know how dh test goes.

wannabeamom - March 22

Samantha, I have the same problem. I call it hostile mucas. I bought Preseed. This is the 1st month I am using it. I will let you know how it turns out.

jessika - March 22

To Samatha I"M new here but just wanted to say Vitex worked wonders for me, after taking it two months my cycles became regular and abudant EWCM, good luck

kelley32 - March 22

Wow, it's great how big our group is getting, Hope, I bet you didn't think so many of us would jump into your boat!!! Anyway, Good Morning to all ... still haven't started to produce EWCM, still in the sticky stage, I think it's still a bit too soon though, only on CD 9 ... hey, does water really help your body produce more CM? I really hate drinking water, but if it helps, I'm willing to give it a try. Maren ... hope that your hubby passes his tests with flying colors ... please let us know how things go tomorrow. Gotta get to work now, have a really busy day. Talk to you all later XX00

Maren - March 22

I really think water helped. I also took Robitussin the two days the OPK, I thought were positive. I hate drinking water two. I ended up filling up a couple gallons of water at the store and keeping them at my desk. It is only 39cents to refill. It makes sense that if you drink more fluids you would produce more. They tell you to drink a lot when you have a cold, to flush everything out. We'll see, it definatly can't hurt.
