I'm not. I know Ann has started doing acupuncture, but no herbs that I know of. I have been considering herbs since I spoke to a couple last week who was having a hard time conceiving and then saught holistic help. Needless to say, the lady was pregnant. I found out yesterday that I have large fibroids, and would like to take a natural approach to possibly shrinking them, so I was doing a little reading yesterday to find out what to do. I don't know of a chinese herbs provider in this area though. Gonna keep digging for info. Keep me posted on how you progress on the herbs.

Hey Tracy. I am sorry to hear about your fibroids. I couldn't get on the board yesterday due to work. I worked like crazy until 11. I have 2 fibroids and had the procedure your dr is proposing. It is a VERY easy procedure. Do they plan to "shave" your fibroids down? I hope you are holding up ok. That had to be a big blow to think you were starting meds only to be told at the last minute that you can't. Shen, hello and welcome. Tracy is correct--I do acupuncture but no herbs. My RE asked me to not do any herbs due to possible interactions with the injectibles. My acupuncturist is also a herbologist, though. Do you have pcos? I was guessing you might, since you did ovarian drilling. Are you just trying with the herbs and naturally now?

I have an appointment for the sono at the end of may. I would prefer to go straight to the lap, but don't know if the doc will want to do that without the sono first. DH is just on my case about how long everything is taking and quite frankly, he is pissing me off. It's rare if I get mad at him, but right now, I don't think he understands that I am doing the best I can to figure out how to pop a baby out for him ASAP. He is just spoiled and doesn't realize that some things just take time. I'm aggitated right now.Sorry.

You have every right to be angry right now!! You are not only having ttc problems but have the news of potential health problems if your fibroids grow!! The last thing you need is additional pressure right now. Tell him he needs to pamper you, take care of you, and make you feel better.

hi, how r u?...it's nice knowing u guys :) yes, i have pcos and realised 3 years ago when i ttc...tried clomid and iui but they didn't work...that's why i'm taking the natural approach...when i had the brown spotting last time, it will not stop unless i take clomid but will not ovulate on it....i'm very glad that the brown spotting has stopped naturally which means the herbs has probably treated the root of the problem...so now i'm trying naturally...

hi ann1, i'm 32 years old and have been ttc for 3 years on clomid, iui etc...now on herbs for abt 2 months already and seems rather effective...what about u?

I am 36, ttc for 2 years, been with dh for 7 (married 2.5). I have high fsh, fibroids, and had mild endo removed, but I've always had normal cycles and O on my own. D dh is normal. I plan to do ivf if this cycle doesn't take. I need to hurry due to the bad fsh!

Hey, I am here. I've been working, etc... Shen, just to catch you up on me, I am 36, have no children. have been married for one year but TTC for a year and half, and apparently I have huge fibroids!!!! Well, I called and scheduled the sono yesterday, then called today to have them preemptively schedule the laparoscopy in case it is needed, if not we will just cancel. The nurse hasn't called me back yet with a prospective date for the lap. I just wanted to keep the wheels in motion so I won't have to wait another month after the sono to get the lap. Ann, did you have a laparoscopy at any point? I don't know if I filled you in, but they tested me for adrenal hyperplasia since I have high DHEAS, and that came back negative. That's good, but there's still no explanation why the high dheas. All my other hormones are perfect. So where are you guys in your cycle, just for a recap???? I am on cd5.

hi...i dunno what cd i'm in as my period hasn't come...my spotting has just stopped and i just have to wait for the red flow to come :)

Insurance is a bitch!!! So far, nothing can happen until after July 31st, not even the sono. Long story, but of course it's about insurance. So, I just may not get pregnant any time soon. I'll be lucky if I get a BFP before the end of the year. Needless to say. I have some phone calls to make tomorrow.

OK, just dealt with my old insurance and new insurance companies, so hopefully my issue will be resolved soon. I am keeping the appointment for the sono and they said I can cancel it the day before if this is not resolved by then. Hope you guys are doing well. Today is cd7 and I am still bleeding and having pains from that damn ultrasound on monday. I guess rubbing against my fibroids irritated them since it was intravaginal.

Hi Tracy. How are you? I have internet access now at night. We had fun in Chicago all weekend, but now I am at my work hotel (yuck). I reread your posts. Last week was so crazy that I couldn't absorb anything. Yes, I do have pets. We have 3 dogs! I agree that it would be tough to have a puppy and a baby at the same time. Do you have any more news about what procedure(s) you will have? Yes, I had a lap as well as the procedure they are suggesting for your fibroids. I hope all is well.

Hey Ann. Chicago is nice...I like it there. Glad to hear you had a good weekend. I just did the mother's day thing today. Went to DH's parent's house then to see my mom, and had lunch woth her. I think I remember now you telling us way back when that you have three dogs. I am soooo jealous. I will have to wait though because DH wants a house before bringing in another pet. I know it's going to be another year or two before we move out of state and get a house though, so I will just wish for a puppy like I wish for a child I guess. What really sucks is that I can't seem to have anything I want right now. We did go looking at townhomes to rent yesterday since our lease is up next month, and found a sweet one for $1600/month. I think we are going to take it. Right now we pay $1500/month and have no balcony or patio, but the other one comes with awesome kitchen upgrades, 3 balconies, and an enormously high ceiling with lots of light coming in. We shall see what happens. I will talk to the realtor tomorrow. Well, have a great day tomorrow....how are you feeling since you are post IUI????
