Update: doc says I may have ovulated after all. WIll do more progesterone blood testing on Monday to be sure, but in the meantime, she said keep up with my meds. She said even if I am pregnant that the provera only makes the lining more lush and won't harm a baby. Hmmm...

Hey Ladies - well i had my appt today and i feel optimistic about this cycle! I also started taking the lupron today which didnt hurt bad at all! My dads results came back nonconclusive so they want to do another biopsy which is frustrating b/c we really want to get to the bottom of all this. The good thing is of the cells they could work with the were noncancerous so we will see! Keep praying though :) Hi Step, Slow , Manyika and lalilove!!

Stepmommel - BEWARE! You are NOT supposed to take provera while pregnant. Just in case you are, I would stop taking it and wait a week or two. It has a high rate of birth defect and that is a strong possibility why I lost the baby. I was taking provera when I was pregnant (they thought there was no way I could get pregnant on my own). I hope I am not coming off strong but I do not want you to have to go through what I went through. I had a nurse tell me the exact same thing she told you. Just be careful.
Today I have my post-op appointment. I am feeling good about it. I can't wait to get some answers, hopefully we can start trying again soon. I hope that everyone is having a great day:)

Well Melissa, that's got to be about as frustrating as all hell... after all this waiting and worrying and all they can do is make you wait longer! ARGH! I'm sorry. Maybe this is a good sign though. And like you said, at least the other cells were noncancerous - that's WONDERFUL!! Well, use that info to help you try to relax, because you know how stress can affect your TTC! I'm so glad your first round went well! Thanks for the update! Otilia, thanks for the heads up. I think I'll try to find some other (random) doctor to call and get a second opinion. Maybe I'll go to webMD and see if they have answers. I have taken 3 Provera already, I hope that's not a big problem. It's a slim chance that I'm pg anyway though becuase by the time I O'd we were so warn out that we bd'ed last like 3 days before O. I know it's still possible though. Hmmm. Oh, and my temps were even higher today and my spotting stopped two days ago, so maybe it was from O after all. Whoever says TTC is easy doensn't have a clue in the world what they're talking about! Man this is crazy!! Sow, how's everyone else doing today?

hey girls just wanted to check in. melissa that sucks that you have to wait some more on your dads results. it does sound promising though that the cells that they could work with werent cancerous. we will keep praying for you and him though just in case until you get the new results back which i hope and pray will be fine. good luck to all. how is everyone? i am doing alot better and hopefully this bleeding will stop soon. that is the worst part of it because everytime i go to the bathroom i feel like i am flushing a baby down the toilet. i know it sounds weird. i just hope that the bleeding stops soon so i can get over this whole thing. i dont think i will be able to move on until it stops because to me it is just another reminder of it all. well i hope that you all are doing alright. take care have a great day.

Hey Ladies - Otilia let us know how you appt goes!! I hope you can get back on track soon!! Step can you take a HPT?? You should really find out if you may be pregnant!! Nothing new to report i only have a few days left of the bcps and will probably get AF sometime next week! Hey Slow hope you are doing better. When is the bleeding supposed to stop?? What did your dr. say?? Again i'm so sorry about what happened!! You will be getting another BFP soon i just know it!!

Melissa, I'm only on 5DPO. I think it would be too early to tell, wouldn't it? SLowpoke, I'm so sorry - I know I"d be reminded of it all the time too. I hope the bleeding stops soon so you can move on as much as possible!

hey girls. the doc didnt say how long it would last i read on the internet that the bleeding could last up to 3 weeks. i hope that is not the case. STEP-i think it may be a little early to tell right now i would wait a little longer before i tested.MELISSA-good luck to you i know that you are excited about this cycle. take care all i have more housework to do so i may not post again until in the morning. take care all and have a great day.

Hello Ladies! My doctor's appointment went well. She said that everything looks good and that it should not happen again. Here's the bummer, we can not start trying again until late November, early December. That seems like forever! By that time you will all have BFPs and I will be all alone:) I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hey Ladies! Im new to this thread. I posted one on another topic but I should have came here all along(: You all seem so close and friendly like you've know each other for years. I feel so out of place just jumping on this thread, but I know you ladies can help me and hopefully I can join your club. My question/comment is my cycle is very irregular and it has been that way ever since I started my period. I am 20 years old and about 8 months ago my cycle stasrted to regular out. When I was 16 my doctor put me on birth control to try to regulate my period but the side effects (weight gaining, bumps, long periods) were unbearable for me so I stop taking them. Since April 06 my period has been coming every month around the 11th,12th or 13th and would last any where between 8-11 days. In july I didnt come on my period until the 21st. It last 10 days. Then in August I didnt come on my period until the 28th. Now September I still have not come on. On Tuesday 9/12/06 I used the restroom and work and when I wiped my self there was some brown and light pinkish blood on the tissue but it was only there when I went to the bathroom this time. That has never happened to me before so I tried to get it all out( sorry thats gross) It took quite a few wipes but it wasnt alot of brown/pink stuff/blood. We are ttc and have been tracking ovulation days but I dont know if those are the days I am actually ovulating with my cycle being so screwed up. Please help me Ladies. Congrats on all of your pregnancies, and slowpoke sorry to hear about you nephew.

stephaniers- wow that sounds like it could have been implantation bleeding. alot of women get inmplantation bleeding right before they find out they are pregnant. have you been temping or using opk's to track ovulation? you are very welcome on this thread. my cycle isnt irregular so i cant give you much info on that one but maybe the other girls can. i know that it is discouraging not knowing when or if you are ovulating but dont give up. you can have a blood test done to check your progesterone levels 7 days after you think you ovulate and it will confirm whether ovulation has acutally taken place. my doc say anything below a 12 is not good(progesterone level) 12 and over mean you ovulated. but i see alot of women who say that their docs think that 10 and over are good so it depends on the doc. are you on any meds? have you had any testing done?like for pcos or endometriosis or any kind of fertility testing done?i know this is alot of questions and i am sorry about that. good luck. maybe one of the other girls will get on here and give you some info on irregular cycles. i have had the hsg dye test to make sure my tubes werent blocked and alot of other testing. i ovulate on my own but the doc put me on clomid to help boost my chances of getting pregnant. i do follicle monitoring and hcg trigger shot and iui. the monitoring and trigger shot tells the doc exactly when i will ovulate. when i get the trigger shot they know i will ovulate within 36 hours after getting the shot. this is all to boost the chances of getting pregnant. i got pregnant last month but i had to terminate because it was a tubal pregnancy. are you seeing an re or just an ob/gyn? re are usually more aggressive in the testing and treatments than an ob/gyn. good luck to you.

How long have you been trying to conceive - I would definitely get everything checked out now with a dr while you are still young - you dont want to waste anytime!! Thanks cmelissa. im actually going to the dr on the 22nd. i havent tried any ovulation sticks or testing but i tried to get an ovulation calender but i dont know how accurate it was considering that my cycle is irregular.

Otilia and Slowpoke, I know it's gonna seem like a long wait for you guys having to wait until Nov/Dec/Jan to start TTC again, but know we still want you here keeping us posted. Don't bail on us!! Welcome Stephanie! This is the best thread EVER, you'll find it's a great place for feeling understood, whether you're new here or not. Believe it or not, we all just met a couple months ago, but it DOES seem like we're ol' buddies! I'm tellin you, it's a great place! And I agree with Melissa. You should probably start using OPKs and maybe temping as well. In fact, read the book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility... you'll learn SO much about your cycles and how to tell what's going on with you by understanding symptoms, etc. I learned more from that book than my doctor's have ever even tried to teach me! Melissa, no, there was no chance from last month, and No, I've not done any beta. So ladies, I didn't take my provera today just in case I'm pg. But I did take a test and it was negative, though it's only day 6. The weird thing is, since I stopped spotting a few days ago I've been having crazy amounts of mucus which is SO not like me.
