Hi there TTC#3. I had a good Easter. Dh and I spent a lot of quality time together and it was wonderful. Friday we went exploring in an area near us that we had never been before. It was wonderful. That night we rented "The Pursuit of Happyness" which was an awesome movie. That movie just inspired me to chase my dream of being a mother even harder than I did before. :o) And can you believe it snowed Friday night?!!!! It had been in the 80's all week and it snowed close to 5 inches!!!! But it always snows here in Asheville the first week of April or at least it has for the past three April's. Saturday we went to see the movie Amazing Grace. Oh my Gosh that was the best movie!!!!! I'd heard so many good things about it and finally got to see it. The theatre was packed and there were only a few seats left in the very front row so dh and I had to slide down in our chairs to watch it. Yesterday I cooked an extremely healthy Easter lunch for us and then we drove out to our property to look for a spot for me to put a garden this year. And then we watched The Passion of Christ. We are also planning our trip to San Francisco. He has not been in years and I have never been and we are excited about taking a little mini vacation there later in the year. OK so enough about me - what is going on with everyone? Oh yeah...the bleeding from the D&C is still going. I am a little surprisedI thought it would have stopped by now. Does anyone knowhow long it usually lasts?

Hi all. Hope everyone had a nice Easter. We did. My af only lasted 2 days and then a day of spotting, very small amount again. Anyhow, not sure about that. Hope you are all well, xoxo

LM3 - sorry you got AF. but now you are almost in sync with LINDS and me, so we can do all our 2WW's together and hopefully have 3 bpf's this month! trying to think positive!! angelkitty - you sound like you had a good weekend. i am glad for you. as far as bleeding after D&C - i bled for about 10 days afterwards - pretty lightly though except for 1 day. and i got AF 25 days later. and although the OB said i should wait 3 cycles to ttc again - then when i called her and asked for more of a reason she backed it down to 2, we are going to give it a whirl this month, if my body is ready and the heaven above is willing it will happen. BTW i live in san francisco if you need any ideas let me know. TTC3 - i'd say BD asap if you can - not sure about when you o'd. but maybe you can still "get lucky" --- ha ha yes - pun intended. linds - is AF gone and do you have a plan of attack for the month? and . . . PMB how are you? i hope you are at your U/S today ( i think i remember you were going on the 9th) and will be posting soon - i am so excited for you!! let us know what they say.

Thanks for the info Julie 2007. I have had several heavy days of bleeding. I even had an accident last night while sleeping...ughhh...I hate that. Thank goodness for mattress covers. Today the bleeding has been a bit more brownish like old blood. I thought that was interesting. I am excited to get this over with and move on. I want af to show up so I can get the hysterscopy done and then get ready to get the show on the road. Just a quick question about San Francisco....would September early October be a good time to go?

angelkitty - sounds wonderful that you got to enjoy your dh! I also have the wonderful accidents in bed.. looks like a massacre sometimes..
Julie - we did bd on thurs night then sunday morning.. I had temp rise on Sunday morning.. but I don't think i o'd on Saturday. not sure.

lm3 - dont get discouraged.. Has you Dh ever had a SA?

Hi ladies, sorry very busy at work this week, but I'll try to keep myself updated. Ok, looks like several of us are on route to ovulation soon, with af here now for 5 days :) Man oh man, after not bleeding for 8 weeks, you can only imagine how many pads I went through. Oh ya, angelkitty, TTC3, I've had those accidents too. Once, I woke up and it looked like I slept on a red butterfly the size of my hand, I showed DH in the morning, he was not that enthused about it? Gee, i wonder why. So you think you missed ovulation? What cycle day are you on today? Angelkitty, that sounded like an awesome weekend...I'm so glad you are still coming around here during this time. I think I read that some women who have D&Cs may bleed a bit longer, as you are a bit "raw" in there from the procedure. But now that it is waning down, I'm sure it will stop sooner than later. Are you guys going to use protection like the doctor said this cycle? Hey Julie, what CD are you on now this cycle? Are you doing and IUIs this time or is this gonna be a natural cycle for you?

angelkitty - sept and october are probably the best times here (and napa - wine country) it is still pleasantly warm, although the sity tends to be a little cooler than the outer lying areas - but still gorgeous! (and when i would have been due to have my baby girl) awwwww. ~ the messy sheets - answer - hydrogen peroxide as soon as you wake up on them. takes blood right out - you may have to fill a sink and soak it depending on how bad - but it works --as it does with the victoria's secret underware i would have otherwise ruined, last month. (just plain hydrogen peroxide you can get at the pharmacy - soak it and gone) try it it should work.....
linds - glad you are back - i am on CD 5 - sounds like you are too. i am going to try natural this month - have clomid i "can" start taking this month from jan that i didn't end up needing - but i think i am going to let me body try natural for a month since it went thru so much last month. how about you? is that part of your plan this month? were you told you had to wait 2+ cycles? (curious to see about what you were told on that liinds) -- TTC - hopefully that BD covered it - have you used and opk yest / today at all?

Linds, I know what you mean about dh not being too excited about the accidents. I knew it the moment I woke up this morning that I had one and dh was not too excited either. I told him about the blood clot I passed just to gross him out . I am such a mean wife!!!! LOL. We did bd on Friday nite and we did not use protection but he did not (how do I put this and still sound like a lady...???)...he did not allow his swimmers inside.

Thanks for the info Julie...I think we will shoot for Sept. I think I am going to try natural myself in June. At least for one month. But if that does not work I think we will try the IUI without clomid.

Morning ladies! UGH I think I have a UTI & YI.. Great.. The pain I feel when I TRY to pee is undescribable! Called dr office & my dr is in at 9 & hopefully will prescribe some antibiotics.
Linds you have any idea if they would be bad for me during the 2ww?

Julie - Linds Fertility Friend has me at 3dpo Oing on Sat. (had barely - opk then) with my temp rise on Sunday but with my 2nd +opk on Wedn I don't know when to believe I o'd .. the last time we bd'd with dna :-) was Thursday night then not til Sunday morning.. I probably missed it..

Linds, Lm3 & julie - you guys are all 5dpo!! talk about women whose cycles get the same when hanging around each other....

TTC3, that sucks about the UTI. Did you know we are more susceptible to UTIs when we do it from behind because there is more friction near our urinary opening in that position and bacteria can get in through there. Tell your doctor that there is a possibility you may be pregnant and they WON'T prescribe the diflucon for the YI...that is dangerous for the baby. Just use the suppositories from the store for the YI. The UTI medication, if you tell them that you are possibly can be pregnant, they can give one that is safe to use in pregnancy. Girl, start drinking tons of water and flush that bacteria out! Make yourself go pee even though it hurts...I like to drink cranberry tea warm, it is more soothing for my urinary tract too. Any other advice ladies? Hey lovemy3, Julie, I can't believe we are all on CD6 today...I am having my saline test on Friday so I expect that eveything will be ok. This is generally a "non med" cycle preparing my body for IVF. Julie, I have conflicted feelings about trying again after a m/c. When I was reading about women who went through m/c, most of them said they didn't wait the next cycle "as instructed" by their doctors when they had a natural m/c as they found it more productive and made them emotionally feel better to try again right away. I don't know about the chances of infertility increasing post m/c immediately, but some claim it does. I however do believe if you have a m/c and d&c, that waiting at least one cycle, get a normal bleed, and then start trying seems right to me. Sometimes the d&c actually takes off more of the uterine lining than the body would normally shed and thins it out for the consecutive cycle, but it would likely normalize by the cycle after the first from what I understand.

Linds - I got the cranberry juice a flowing & I am peeing like crazy or trying to I should say, cuz it feels like I have to go constantly & I sit there with tears in my eyes trying too. UGH! I called my dr & told them of possible pg.. thanks..

Hi there ladies!!! What a morning!!!! I agree with Linds, after having had a D&C I do not think I would try to get preg until after I had my first period just in case too much of the lining came off during the procedure. I can't even try after my af b/c my doc wants to do the hysterscopy. So I am just going to bd for fun fun fun!!!!Just like back in the day!!!:o) I think I want to go back to the hair pulling, lip biting freak show sex we had before we ttc. HA!HA! there you go TTC#3 - I am not always a lady!!! Iam sorry about your UTI but definitely for the YI only use the suppositories that are OTC. Y'all know what - I was just thinking about that...do you know that when my sister had her surgery when she was 5 months preg her doc prescribed percocet for her pain!!!! I am sitting here afraid to take tylenol while ttc and she is popping percocet!!!! And her baby is perfectly healthy and normal and all that!!! Makes me wonder why I obssess but then i guess when you have tried as much as we have you have a tendency to obssess!!! Ya know?? My sister never had to try to get preg so I guess it makes a difference. Has anyone heard from JB lately????

YES girl gotta love that good ole fashion sex just for sex! Have fun (like im sure i have to tell you that) and enjoy each other. I started the OTC YI stuff last night before I realized I have a UTI too. Im heading to dr office tonight to pee in a cup then they'll give me the pg friendly antiobiotic & the nurse said well we can give you a pg test when i told her it could be a possiblity & im like NAH ive been trying, charting, temping so too early!

When is pam supposed to be back?

I am not sure when Pam is supposed to be back...probably by the end of the week. Isn't she on a trip with her in laws? As mean as her in laws have been to her it would be hard for me to go on a trip with them if I were her. She is a good woman!!!! Does anyone care if I start a new thread? This one is taking forever to load!!!!!
