You can remain laying down with a pillow propped under your bottom for about a half hour or so after sex. It will still come out when you get up or urinate but by then the sperm should already be where it needs to go. Good luck.

I always bd before bed because then I would go to sleep and lay down for the next 7 hours. A little does trickle out, but clindholm is right, the sperm has gone where it needs to go.

Duckherd50----I have the same problem and the pillow trick works well. I usually try for an hour. Then I do the same as optimistic and just roll over and go to sleep. There are also softcups that some of the ladies on the site are trying. They are the "instead" cups for your period that you insert right after
bd-ing to hold the sperm in. I haven't tried them, but I use them for af so I might. I don't know why this happens but I understand.

The stuff that comes out is actually just the seminal fluid that the sperm was in. The sperm continues through the cervix and the "leftovers" leave your body.
Good Luck

You can try softcups by instead. They work great for us. http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/softcup.html

I asked my doctor the same question and he stated that the sperm is suppose to come out. It is actually normal. There will be some that does not come out and will go where it needs to go. :) Good Luck!

Its funny that your asking this question because my DH and I have been TTC for over two years now and the one thing I never thought was the problem is the sperm leaking out I always thought this was natural but I have come to find out that I have abnormal cervical and cervical mucus which isn't allowing the sperm to pass into my uterus so basiclly the horse can't get out of the gate. So you might want to see a doctor about your concerns to see if you are expriencing the same problem. I am have an IUI on Wednesday Dr. said good chance of pregnancy too bad it took so long to find this out!!!!!!!!! Good luck!!!!!
