Anyone Just "O" and On The 2WW Now?

MOLLIE: I guess it's good that you are young and found out now. I hope things turn around for you. As for me, yes, my periods have always been like clockwork - from the day it started when I was 15, to even after I stopped taking BCPs last year. For that reason, I am surprised that we haven't gotten a BFP yet. I guess we're not BDing enough, or at the right times. Throughout the 6 or so months we've been TTC, I've only used OPKs twice. I've known women who get so crazy with trying to get pregnant (have elective surgery to see what's going on "in there") and I really don't want to be one of those women. Because of that, we've been trying to do it as naturally as possible (no meds, no charting, no temperature-taking). So far it hasn't worked, but maybe this time it did. I'll know within the next week, when AF is due. I hope you're right when you said, "I bet you get your positive within the next two months :)" THANKS!

My doctor appt gave me a little more hope. He thinks I am ovulating b/c of the LH surge and I got my period after the first cycle. I just have low progesterone and need to take it throughout my cycle. My period should start next week as well. I hope neither of us get one...

Glad to hear it. Hope is a good thing. Sunday should be my "start spotting" day, and Wednesday my regular flow. I had AF-like cramps yesterday and some today; I hope it's not her! Let's check back with each other.

The progestrone must be working! My last cycle was only 25 days long and now it's cd27 and no AF. I might actually have a normal 28 day cycle now!! Hope you are enjoying the weekend. I had to work 3rd (yuck) but I'm off today.

cd29 and no AF. I tested myself and BFN which is what I expected. I am just waiting for AF to start so I can prepare for round 3 of clomid...How are you doing?

andrea21 - September 6

Hi everyone, today is cd19 for me, had IUI on cd14, 10 more days to go.Hope this is everyone's cycle to finally get that BFP and have a healthy 9 months pregnancy.

I'm doing fine. AF started this morning (although I've been spotting since Saturday). My DH is going next week for a SA test to rule him out. My gut tells me that all is OK with both of us, and it'll happen soon. (But I still want tests to make sure!) Isn't your cycle (so far) a lot longer than usual? Maybe it's too early to test, and that BFN was false.

I think my progesterone was too low to support implantation and my cycle is longer because of the suppositories...I will test again Fri if no AF...Yesterday was so bad for me at work. I work in a hosp lab. After I tested myself and got the neg, this patient's urine came down for a preg and drug screen. She was pregnant and on opiates, benzos and THC. I burst into tears, it made me so angry. Then my husband called to tell me that our friend and his girlfriend are pregnant (they've only been together 5mos). It seems like so many people around me are pregnant right now. My sister-in law is due in Nov, my cousin, my other younger cousin's girlfriend (they are only 17). I guess I just notice more now that I am going through this...I know it will happen for me (and you too!!!) but sometimes there are ups and downs. Yesterday was definitely a down. But I am feeling better today and am going to try to keep looking at the bright side and like you said it will happen when it's suppose too...

MollieJo - September 6

Hi andrea! Good luck to you and keep me updated!!!

JerseyGirl - September 6

MOLLIE: My sis-in-law is also due in November!! And I know a couple that was dating for 2 months and she got pregnant. But it's totally the fact that we are going through all this that we notice so many pregnant women. We really just have to not dwell on it so much. I know, much easier said than done, but people have worse problems....

Hi, sorry to barge in on your post but I'm in the same situation as you guys. This is my third clomid cycle and I'm praying it worked this time. I'm on cycle day 19 and had an HCG shot on the 1st. DH and I bedded for four days straight so praying it worked. I usually have a 30 day cycle on clomid so I have to wait until Sept. 17 or 18 for AF or maybe a BFP test. I hope! Our next time will be IUI and my husband isn't too keen on that. I've never had a regular period so I always feared I'd have trouble. My sister has had four kids no problem and I just want one of my own! This wait is hard and everyone I see is pregnant or having a baby. When will it be our turn?!

MollieJo - September 7

Hi BCGirl, I know how you feel about the irregular period thing. I was always worried about it. I knew it would cause problems later. I am about to start my third round of clomid. (I am spotting today) I hope the third times the charm for you!!

JerseyGirl, Are you getting a niece or nephew? I am getting my second nephew.

JerseyGirl - September 7

MOLLIE, I don't know if it'll be a niece or a nephew; my brother and sis-in-law are not finding out. My sis-in-law desperately wants to know, but my brother does not. I agree 100% with my brother; you already know you're pregnant, so why find out the sex? There is no reason anyone HAS to know. Besides, there are so few wonderful surprises in life... why not let this be one of those? I personally think it takes all the fun out of knowing. Especially when people also name the child before it's born (actually, that's against the Jewish religion to announce the name). If everyone already knows what you're having and what you name it, it's like, "Oh, so-and-so is here." It's anti-climactic, I think. Sorry for the long-winded answer to your very short question!!!!
