Good luck Gretchen! Christina - sounds to me like you have all of the symptoms of ovulating!

I just found your posting and am in the same boat. I do wonder, why do some people take clomid cd 3-7 and some 5-9? I took 5-9 and my pricey new ovulation reader still says I haven't ovulated and it's day 13. Maybe tomorrow will be ovulation instead of just "high probability". This is such a science! Well today is CD 6 and day 2 of clomid. Today I feel good except for feeling a little dizzy. Gretchen and Christina - how are you ladies holding up??

this is my first month of clomid. this week we are going to try iui. my husband and i have been ttc for 2 yrs. i had a hsg this month. hoping to be pregnant this month.

hey i am new here. my husband and i have been ttc for 2 yrs now. we both checked out fine. i had a hsg(i am still waiting results) satrted on clomid this month. and we are going to do iui this week. i am keeping hopeful for this month. i am not looking forward to more clomid. it really wiped me out.

I am doing good, I think I have either already ovulated or am about to, AI will find out Thurs. if I did.

hi ladies. i'm so glad i found this site. i was going nuts trying to find people's experiences with clomid. i'm 26, dh and i have been ttc since my m/c last dec. i just finished my 1st round of clomid on saturday. still haven't had a +OPK, so we're holding off from BD'ing. when did your dr's recommend you BD? mine said to start day 12, which would be tomorrow, but what if i don't get a +OPK by then? any advice please?? : )

Ruby - my doctor told me to start BD'ing day 13. (I am taking clomid CD 5-9). She said to BD every other day from then on. She said that you ovulate usually 4-10 days after the last clomid. I hope this helps!!

thanks jamie. your suggestion really does help. i'm on day 12 today, so i guess i just needed some kind of reassurance that my dh and i should definitely bd tomorrow. but i still haven't gotten a +OPK...do you think we should bd anyway? also, my dr told me to bd EVERY days on days 13-16 or 17. i wonder if that'll make a difference. can anyone help?

i am on cd 12 today. had taken clomid 100mg on cd 5-9. i have heard that u wil ovulate 4-10 days after the last clomid, but last time, which was my 1st time, i od 13 days after the last clomid. is that abnormal, or that i am not properly responding to the dosage? is there a fixed pattern for all cycles, ie, does that mean that i will always ovulate 13 days after the last clomid, if my dosage is same?

I just started me first cycle of clomid today. I am nervous about the side effects it may have. I am on D3 of my cycle and it has been between 40 and 52 days recently. My dr said to start trying a week after I finish the clomid (taking for 5 days). It sounds like it usually takes more than one cycle of clomid to work?

i keep hearing different times to try, and i think i ovulated yesterday and thought i did last week and the tests are playing games with me, my dr. said try days 12,14,16,18 after the clomid, i have a feeling i will be taking it again next month, i hope not but well see, dont worry about the side affects, i am a nervous meicine taker and delt with only hot flashes and a little nausea but everyones different my friend had zero side affects.good luck,baby dust!

Christina - Are you going in for a bloodtest this week to see if you ovulated? I am glad to hear you are doing well. I am on CD 7 - third day of clomid and to be honest I feel really good!

jamie good for you, i am so glad to hear that! maybe second time body adjusted better. i went today to a fertility specialists and have regular obgyn thurs, this dr today said it didnt look like i ovulated yet or am going to soon, he wasnt sure now i am freaking out and lost! we shall see.....

Hi All! I'm new to this board but wanted to chat. Just got back from gyno today, he gave me clomid to start next month (cd 13 and opk still neg). I hope I don't have to take it, but after almost 3 yrs of ttc, I'm anxious to get started on the clomid. He said not to fill the prescipt til after AF this month in case I am already pg (yeah, right; wouldn't that be a hoot!!) I might get it filled just to tempt fate, what to you girls think??
